Number of cuts depends greatly on what material you are cutting. Thin wall stainless steel tubing is one of the hardest materials to cut and is very hard on the blades, but these saws can reliably get 500 cuts out of a blade on this material. Mild steel or aluminium you will get a lot more cuts.
