- Are Dragonknight really broken? Is Nightblade a carry class? What about magicka sorcerer? This video breaks down every class in PvP and shows The Good, The Bad and The Ugly using a 12 area ranking system. This really gives each pvp class a detailed overview and will help you identify what is the best class for your given playstyle.
These charts have been designed and updated for the current patch. The charts are aimed at giving you a non-objective view of each class in comparison to one another so you can see what they are good or bad at and can build into it correctly. These are personal thoughts and are checked with other players but if you disagree then do leave a comment and explain why - we'd love to hear from you!
These charts truly provide an easy to follow overview of each class, it's strengths but also their pain points. I've also included a discussion about each class to explain my rationale and what each category means so you can finally understand what your class should be able to do in PvP easily!

I was PvE player for a long time. Tried PvP and got wrecked for weeks almost gave up until I found some of your content. Your Ultimate regen DK build is amazing!

@@Unified-Gaming Funny thing is all my gear is only epic minus the okensoul ring. Have dropped 17, 27, and 40 kills with it, I think I'm gonna make it all gold.
@Rudi Segura only gold weapon. Purple gear and jewellery are fine. Golding those add very little to your stats.
DK is also one of easiest, and highest meta class in the game, its really easy because most of its ults both help you defensively and offensively, its why 50% of every BG is DKS, and almost everyone in cyrodil are DKs running around. One of most overplayd class. Really need a nerf since its too easy to stay alive as a DK

Best content ever for ESO. Just brilliant as always. A comprehensive guide of not what's just "the best" like some people want, but who is the best at what playstyle which vastly deffers between game content. Dan, I'm coming back to the game with a friend. Which would be the strongest duo combos in your opinion for 2vX in IC, Cyro? It seems to me that a combo between Magplar and Stamden/Stam-MagDK seem the overall the most sustainable and destructive for long fights while outnumbered. Obviously skill beats all but my question would be considering skilled people vs skilled people. Personally, Stamden seems insane on paper, but if people are competent they can see well through deep fissure (and the samina morph) making it harder to land (can correct me if I'm wrong, maybe stunning is mandatory for pulling out their burst), while I found stamblade by far as the hardest to fight against if well played even in mid groups in IC and I found stamden not so hard to fight against. I found DK tanky, but they don't seem as scary as others for some reason (you can beat them when they run out of steam which never seems to happen to stamblade). Sorry for the long paragraphs but I wanted to outline all of my thoughts. I just want to find the most lethal duo and run that since I like to go into fights outnumbered in long and prolonged ifhts and come out on top!

Proc sets really skew the picture because they carry so hard... I mean prove how good you are.
They do and also fill / fix weaknesses. I prefer using a stat dense ones personally.

What is your gamertag on Xbox EU. And magicka sorcerer is the hardest class to master. Every other class uses the same mechanics to survive. Block, high hp, healing. You dont have to continuously recast defensive abilities (wards) to survive whilst also simultaneously being able to line up the longest timed burst combination in the game. It takes the most button presses and the timing always has to be perfect to do any significant damage. But doing this whilst having to keep wards up makes the class extremely difficult to master. Ive played NB and DK recently and its childs play in comparison. So easy to pick up.
A few years back something like DanBeatYou_xD but haven't been on there for ages. I played magicka warden a lot on AD - I remember you though. I'd agree that sorcerer is hard to master but when played well is great. Shields, roll dodge and movement are key and I see it as a reaction based class. If you react slow or lag then it is hard to do well on.
Dk on the other hand is insane. Nb too is crazy tanky if you move and use cloak well - why lower damage if you can avoid it fully.
@Unified Gaming I vaguely Remember that GT. Alot of people have quit or left xbox EU. The population count is very very low. Hence why gina bruno said we have the best performance 🤣🤣🤣. And I agree Nb and DK are absolutely ridiculous ATM

Thanks! I made the data set in excel then over laid it into a custom graphic to achieve this effect. It means I can change the data set and the charts update.

If u were going to build a magden for coordinated bg group what sets front back master? Would u use as a dps
I would use masters ice staff front bar, rallying cry back bar then a body of choice like ice furnace, mark of the pariah etc. Then use balorgh.
Sorcerer really that hard? Someone could give me advice for pvp with sorceress iam new to the game.
Sorcerer is a reaction based class with few ways to build but is very fun. If played well it can be really good in pvp. The big issue sorcerer has in pvp is the meta we're currently in. Sorcerer's skills are projectile based so have travel time attached to them and can be roll dodged. This can make confirming kills vs more experienced pvp players hard.
As for PvE, it is a solid class and makes good heavy attack builds. You can make good dungeon tanks and honestly I'd say it is one of the better starter classes to learn on.

i think mag sorcs are a really good class it just has a very high skill gap,its like the nightblade.

Damage is fine, but it needs better survivability.
Or you can just run a brain dead heavy attack pet build that hits like a truck for minimal effort. They're fun
To Fix the godmode DK and Damage when they pop corrosive the fix is to "While Corrosive is active all Self heals and including receiving heals are disabled. Making it much more fair to hit or miss.
As for Wardens they can use a buff to burst damage at this time.
I think they should make corrosive do this:
While active, a corrosive poison radiates from you doing X damage every 2. Enemies hit have their armour reduced by 2500 for 5 seconds stacking an unlimited amount of times. During this state, your armour is increased by 10,000 and you gain major and minor protection.
This would stop it being a bursty ult when paired with stacked whip and instead needs players to stay close to targets. It also allows it to work as a group debuff and it doesn't provide god mode defence by limiting damage to 3% but instead gives armour and % reduction so there's some counter play.
As for warden: I'd suggest they adjust the dot of fletcher infection.
Send a ravenous swam that deals x damage to targets every 2 seconds for 20 seconds. Whilst active, the swarm weakens the target making them take 5% more damage per 10% missing health. This would allow it to give magdens access to a pseudo execute in boosting all other damage sources when the target is low. Stamdens can use executes anyway which would kill regardless so wouldn't gain much from this change.

@@Unified-Gaming Seems doable, if they ever decide to make the changes to correct it's current state. The way I play most DKs in a 1 v 1 with me cannot kill me even when they pop corrosive and that is normally because I am good at both counter healing even if I can't get away and pushing pressure. However it isn't fun to fight them since the fight is never over.
best pvp class = Number 1 stam DK Number 2 magDK Number 3 Hybrid DK defensive set of ya choice - offensive set of ya choice and no vamp
4 healer dk 5 crafter dk 6 other classes
In a battle 1 vs 1 against a dk using others classes beyond frustration you can't win
Their burst heal is just insane and is a large reason for the frustration
All classes (Except Necro) can be utilized for pvp.
Necro can be used but seems a hit and miss warden

Warden having major n minor breach, u can go nirn charged masters DW. U have hemorraging, n 2 staus effect from weapons for a fat maarselok. Then u just wait for second shalk to pair maars n DB, no need execute 😜
You're using a proc sets to supplement damage. These are aimed at the base class kit whereas proc sets can really amplify specific areas
@@Unified-Gaming yeah maarselok/rallying/masters DW. But anyway timming second shalk its a great execute if u need space if using oaken. At least it works for me, but of course having an execute will always improve ur finishing. Great video! 😁

I haven't played in ages, is Sniper still scuffed as before? As in it does fckall damage now?
Also are people still running around with that AOE spam BS that was lagging out servers?
Snipe can work but target dependent. Aoe spam happens with ball groups but on pc performance is a lot better.
@@Unified-Gaming I just remember them nerfing Snipe into the ground, and making it just useless against anything but the squishiest of classes.
I'm hoping that PC performance has been better, PvP was in a unacceptable state for a while

I put dark convergence and vicious death on my templar, power of light call in meteor hit a group with stampede before meteor falls then blam and jab everyone dies. 😂 It's goofy but so fun.

I also think dk's are like the easiest class to play same with templar to me they are the easiest class to play and dk is very op at the moment too.
Dk is really strong as is warden. Templar has a good execute but that's it. Sorc and nb are really good when played well but for the average player they're lack lustre.

@@Unified-GamingI feel like my warden has no killing power and has to run 4 heals to even approach dk survivability. It's like playing a different game on dk. What would you recommend for a two bar warden? When I feel like I'm behind on damage, survivability, and sustain. . .idk, can't build in to all of them.

Masters ice staff front bar
Rallying cry back bar
Ice furnace / wretched vitality / damage set
This will hell you.
DK should be like 2 bars on the easy to pickup and 2 on the easy to master. I picked it up having never played one, went to the dueling area with some basic ass setup/gear not evne purps, a blue scavenging demise set and shit on people. Went into bgs and shit on people except the other 50% of the bg who were also DKs. DK is really a joke rn in terms of skill required easy of play, love pressing ults that keep you alive and do insane pressure for free. needs to nerf like they did tempalrs
