the dad pissed me off so much. all of the signs that esther was dangerous was literally right in front of him. even the nun who came over the house warned him that bad things always happen when esther is around and yet you still assume that she’s this perfect little angel? he kept riding for her when he barely even knew her. he refused to listen to anybody’s suspicions and he refused to take what anyone is saying into consideration. the sad thing is, he didn’t even realize the truth about esther until it was too late. his stupidity caused his downfall
This was a GREAT reaction, guys! I am really looking forward to watching the full-length commentary on Patreon now! I did not know that you guys were not really into horror movies, so I'm glad you enjoyed this one. Happy Halloween! Thank you for pointing out the acting of Isabelle Fuhrman, who played Esther. Fuhrman was born on February 25, 1997, so she was only 11 years old when filming "Orphan," and 12 years old when the movie was released in 2009. I thought she was outstanding in the role, along with Vera Farmiga as Kate, and little Aryana Engineer (Max) was the true hero of the film! Peter Sarsgaard had the most difficult challenge, I think. His character has to be in such deep denial to make the story work, and I think the writers did a good job creating the "perfect storm" to make the situation as believable as possible (Kate's alcoholism, the history of mistrust in the marriage, the validation from a mental health professional that there's nothing wrong with Esther). However, as viewers, we are definitely infuriated with John, and the film gets the rise out of us that's intended. Again, thank you for this awesome reaction, guys! I really enjoyed watching along with you!

This is not a typical horror movie, its a gem of a movie. Oh and the prequel is worth watching too. ^-^
We were impressed! May have to check out that prequel

Glad you liked it! Thank you Scott! The writers definitely did a solid job as did the director with the different portrayals.

Thank you! At the moment, we are just doing movies.
Great movie reaction guys! For another horror movie suggestion, you guys should react to Carrie. The original 1976 version is a classic!
Thank you! We will add it to the list.
good reaction, bad editing.
What specifically about the video is bad editing?
