Loved Saab for more years than I can remember & I have just bagged myself a one owner 2004 95 HOT Aero saloon, in the same colour as this one (Espresso Black, wait until direct sunlight hits it!) with only 75k on the clock!! Every extra Saab offered at the time, used as a second car, garaged, the seats don`t look like they`ve been sat in! I am a very happy bunny indeed! Traded in my 9-3 Aero convertible in a heartbeat, & I said I would NEVER sell that car! But this 95 is a masterpiece it really is! "Underrated" doesn`t cover it!
You are correct 9-5 hot 2.3 estate is the best under appreciated car ever. Saab did a fabulous job and cant understand why GM dumped Saab. I love my HOT Aero. My lic plate is 4EVERSAB. I fix cars for a living so repairs are not a issue.
I just bought one 🤣 265hp 2004 Aero 180,000 miles FSH £1150, clean MOT with new bilsteins and springs and a load of new bushes and suspension upgrade bits in the boot. I think I got a good deal
My 2L 9-3 Aero also has that intoxicating power. When you floor it, it doesn't pull you back in your seat but it still gathers pace so quickly and easily. The Turbo really helps pull these cars along!
I have a really late 2010 9-5 Aero HOT Turbo Edition manual. Factory 260HP/350Nm and goes like stink. The PERFECT car. It’s not as quick as my 2005 9-3 Aero Hirsch Stage 2 factory car though; that’s just INSANE.
I have a 2003 HOT Aero 9-5 Estate. Heated and vented seats and heated rear bench. Ex Diplomat car with stacks of history and just ticked over 238k miles which now has an uprated turbo pushing around the 300 mark. Still drives like a 50k miles car.
Just bought a 2002 9-5 Linear wagon, not the hot turbo, sadly, however it's a gorgeous old wagon, and I am doing all necessary work to be able to gift it to my 17 year old niece. Any advice will be greatly appreciated sir. Absolutely love your channel !
I've owned several 3 series and a couple W208 convertibles, and love the reliability of the W208. I've also owned a 87 900S which was a blast. Shameful that GM killed SAAB in my opinion.
I need to win one of your Saab 9-5 Aero Hot Aero estates because I have to get a family estate and I don't want an iPhone on wheels. If I won one I could legitimately keep one!!!
Honestly polybush the chassis, b12 suspemsion and a stage 3+ map and you'll never want to sell it. Handling, comfort and the performance especially is mind boggling. Possibly a fellow Aero owner who has a stage 3+ one would be willing to let you drive it. 👍
Called out the exact same spec as mine that I've had for a few months. Ultimate daily given the price in my opinion and don't see it going anywhere anytime soon!
@@grayparatrooper Karl at noobtune does the remaps and he's very well known. Plenty of places to buy new parts and there's a lot of breakers too. In the 5 years I've never struggled to find a part but saying that it's that reliable it's not often I've needed anything barring the servicable items.
I thank you sir for bigging up the Saab turbo hot aero hot hot turbo aero beast turbo pheasant killer turbo hot 🔥 aero. I'm just looking at mine on the drive appreciating nicely.🤔 Must wipe off the pheasant giblets first if I ever sell it. Which I won't by the way so don't bother asking. 🤨
I own an auto version, with the option of paddle manual shift. Love it. I especially love it when I come to motorway nose to tail delays and I can relax and let the Saab take the stress out of constant gear changes. BUT beware, the auto version raises the emission levels in the UK so they attract a heavier road tax rate than the manual 2.3 Aeros.
I have 2000, 2.0T, 220hp. Combi. Manual. It is likie in film. Exelent. Iven perfekt car. I love it. I dont know way but i Love it. (bac in the days a have Mercedes c180. It was a very good car but Saab 2.0T i fare more beter). Bay one but before you do find good saab car shop. Then bay it. I will recommend manula. Only Saab engean (2.0t or 2.3t.). I love the interior of may SAAB. But in the eand of Saab interior in may opinion is bad. Not material but desing of it. Note one theht is al lot of people who love end production Saabs. Sow good old saying SAAB is not a car is a SAAB. May be true :D
To be honest very disappointed where’s the Saab Aero review?? Geoff talks about pheasants :-) BTW the only reason I own a aero hot hot aero is because of your channel :-)

I'd recommend throwing a stage one tune on it if you care about stuff like that, with just a remap it can make 50 more hp
i love my 03 Aero HOT wagon. Thanks SAAB.

You keep tempting me to buy tickets. Looks great.
I'm always astounded by how many people spell it "breaks".
