Broken audio, absolutely no clues to content, THE WORST thumbnail... is THAT unprofessional enough for you? But no, we're just having fun here... or are we...
Also, the thumbnail cut off my bit about watching Strange New Worlds and Lower Decks... which was important... I'm a Trekkie again! I cried

Hey, so I was actually looking for a video just like this to make sure I don’t have to make one. What you’ve built is a manual phase change cooling loop; this is how real air conditioners work. Since you’re on Venus, you only need one loop and a little boost to get below the max condensation temp for water, but I actually built a similar system with two loops for heating on Europa. I know; an air conditioner to provide heat on Europa? Hear me out: first, I took advantage of the Phase Change Device kit (condensation chamber and evaporation chamber) to make the system smaller and more manageable. My first stage boils Nitrogen at the -145 ambient temperature in an evaporation chamber with the heat exchanger hooked to the external atmosphere. That evaporation chamber is hooked directly up to a condensation chamber which condenses the same Nitrogen at 6MPa, which can happen as hot as -83. Obviously, that’s no good for heating my base, but I hooked the heat exchanger of that condensation stage to the evaporation stage of the next loop, which is evaporating liquid Pollutant. The pollutant, like before, is immediately put into a Condensation chamber set to 6 MPa at which pressure the pollutant can condense as high as 152 Celsius, which is more than enough to heat my base; I hooked the heat exchanger on that condensation stage to a radiator in my base. Your system is doing the same thing, except it uses water as the working fluid and pulls the heat out from the other direction and has a somewhat higher capacity (I think) but consumes several kW. My system is much more compact and uses a total of 200W (50 per phase changer) for a heating capacity of ~3 kW. The one thing I think should be noted is that it took a stupid amount of gas to provide the initial charge for the system, and I had to make sure to provide a couple safety valves. Also, it took about two IRL hours to start working (though I was hindered by my initial gas temp of ~1000C).

A heat pump on Europa is a good idea, who said it was bad?
This setup is overkill all over the map, and can be significantly scaled back by using a condensation chamber running off an AC, instead of a tube. The evaporation chamber is still a pain though...

The title is because I'm making fun of someone, and my audio was ruined anyway, so...

@@JoelleTheAbsurdist well, it’s not that they explicitly said it was a bad idea, so much as they pointed to the much more straightforward solution of just hooking a radiator to your gas fuel generator exhaust. I’m just blown away by how little power the phase changers use. Especially when you consider that they internally have to function like a many times faster pressure regulator combined with, like, a powered condensation valve, they should clearly cost much more to run. Like, even getting volume pumps to pull in gas to a condensation chamber should cost hundreds of watts. And if we had a few more gas options (or a higher pressure cap) you could conceivably use just phase changers to power your furnace. As it is, i’m going to have to look into adding a water phase loop to my furnace setup to give the air conditioners a little more to work with.
Also, most people still think air conditioners are for cooling: somehow heat pumps are not something everyone knows about? I’m sure the feeling is mutual in other areas, but it boggles my mind how little familiarity the average person has with technical systems.

The important question - What console is that that displays the graph?

Spent some time going through the different consoles. Mostly been abusing the IC's setting to get debug info out, so this is a nice visible way to expose that.
