This is exactly why I have 3 dash cams and lined the time up as perfectly as I could on the cameras. I have one on my speedometer, one on facing through the front window and one on the back, just because if something happens with the police. I got my first after I was driving behind a cop, on the same road I see the cops everyday hiding when I come home off of work and he turned on his lights and called me through the intercom on his vehicle and told me to pullover, I did and asked why he pulled me over and he said I was speeding which was not true, because I come through this way for 2 years straight and they are always hiding, but I refused to sign the ticket and he started threatening me and being aggressive like he was suggesting that he will hurt me and I had to call my Dad, so he can be my witness if this Cop hurts me. If I knew what I knew now I would have fought the ticket but I was young and didn't know I even had a choice to fight a ticket. I hate the police, they can do anything and get away with it, well I really just get mad thinking about it and I go through the other reason I was unlawfully pulled over and they claimed I had my brights on but when he came to my car he made me put them on, but thankfully another cop pulled up and asked me what was going on and I told him what happened and he let me go and told me I could leave.
If only it were like that, although as we've seen time and time again on this channel, "The department investigated themselves and found no wrongdoing."
His failure will never be dealt with due to qualified b.s. immunity. I keep saying it.... there are NO good cops. If you wear the badge, you are nothing more than a paid gang member. You are 100% guilty by association. I have a cousin who is the vp of the police union in a hick town south of dallas. Even though he seems like a nice guy, I still consider him evil because he wears the gang sign of a police officer. When the thin blue line of immunity and ignorance is worn away, then and only then will we tell apart the good from the bad. Until then, any police officer is just another gangster.

@@bradsyfert8041 I agree with you about his going into the house. I was stopped one night for speeding which I wasn't doing. I knew the cop and he knew me. It’s like saying that some members of MS-13 are “good gang members” cause they’re nice people and have done something nice before. But they’re still a member of a gang and taking part in their terror. Every single cop at every single agency no matter how small, has had the opportunity to stop another cop from violating someone’s rights or committing an act of violence, and an unfathomably low percentage of them have. And even then, they do it anonymously after the offense has already occurred, instead of stopping and arresting the other cop on site of their crimes like they would with any other fucking citizen committing the same crimes. There are no good cops. There were 376 cops at Uvalde while children were being killed, representing every single agency in the area, basically a sample size of every type of police agency in America. Which one of those 376 cops was a good cop?
When the citizens are more professional, emotionally stable and attempting to de-escalate emotionally charged officers, the city needs to be sued and city council needs to be held financially accountable until there is no money left to fund the police. The police are defunding themselves and creating a feeding frenzy of opportunists taking advantage of the terrorist-like behavior from unsupervised officers out of control.
Idk if defunding would help. Maybe police monitoring by an outside source, over the police to keep them in check? Cuz the states and countys sure asf can't monitor these ássholes.

Cops aren't required to know the law. If they fuck up someone's life or commit a crime while on duty, they are protected by qualified immunity. It's almost like they are incentivized not to learn the law because ignorance of the law is a valid defence for a cop (though not for a civilian)
@@Pji56 there's always going to be corrupt people. Youre never going to avoid that. well, if they report on them they become a pariah and nobody will work with them and no other department will hire them....kind of a catch 22 for the good cops.
One of the biggest problems with law enforcement is a lack of discipline. The cop was sent on a disturbance call, but decided on his own, to disregard the call and write a parking ticket instead. In any other line of work, disobeying your boss get's you fired. With police union protection, it rarely happens in law enforcement.
I wouldn't say it's a lack of 'Discipline', it's a Lack of Accountability. Cops violate people Constitutional Rights (yet EVERY Cop must take a SWORN Oath of Office to Uphold the U.S. Constitution, their State Constitution, and the Laws of their State) and the Law every single day, yet they are rarely ever held accountable for their Unconstitutional and Criminal Behaviour.

Until the police lose something valuable to them, they have no incentive to change. Until we bankrupt cities, counties and states, the lawmakers have no incentive to change the laws.
Qualified immunity only blocks frivolous civil suits. They're still criminally liable for ridiculous things they do. Ending QI only threatens the community's safety by reducing the number of officers available to protect it.
@@edbigtruck No one in their right mind in today's climate would apply for that position knowing they're open to CIVIL cases from all directions. The anti-QI crowd is unrealistic at best.
Not just petty it was WRONG. The law spells out specifically what constitutes blocking an alley and by the legal definition the biker was not blocking anything.
Everyday where I live since 1985. We used to be able to sleep on the porch and locked and not lock the doors, now you get arrested for open containers beer even when the whole street is blocked off for a block party.
Or like in most places, other than UA-cam, there is no requirement for a Police officer to call a supervisor just because a disgruntled violator requests one.
@@farticles04 First problem is you believe everything you see on You Tube to be an accurate video of what actually transpired. Here are some things for your simple mind to ponder. We are shown a supposed still photo of where the motorcyclist "claims" his MC was, supposedly from the "initial" recording from his body cam. Where is that video, you know the video of him returning home, the initial stop/interaction and the at least 5 minutes that there was just the one Officer there interacting? These videos are posted for one and one reason only. To tell a one sided story and make the Police Appear in a bad light. Next, this was a TRAFFIC STOP, pure and simple. So the Father, (the one posting the video) is an idiot, because Texas Statute 38.02 concerns a Terry Stop and not a Traffic Stop. Next Texas Statutes require the operator of a MV to produce their license to a Police officer, and according to the Statute a Police officer can stop a vehicle to check a persons license to confirm that they have the proper class for the vehicle being driven. Failing to produce your license is an arrestable offense. Next, yes even for a Municipal Code Parking Violation a Police Officer can force the operator/owner to produce their license and issue it to the person with the vehicle. Reference to this is Found in the Texas Administrative Code, and actually in the circumstances in that code actually MANDATE that the parking summons be issued to the operator. So lets see the video starting from him returning home and the initial stop.
@@HUBABUBA-il8fn can't argue with your breakdown of the codes of enforcement. I think you are purposely being obtuse though to the common sense part of the entire interaction. The officer did not initial travel down the alleyway to enact a traffic stop. His own words were that he was investigating a reported disturbance in the alley. As far as any evidence presented shows, the only one provided was from the owner of the property. There is no contradicting evidence that proves that a moving violation had happened. If the officer had approached and found the vehicle stopped in the driveway protruding into the alley then he can write a ticket for said vehicle. Checking the plates will also give him the identity of the owner. The owner was on his own property and hadn't committed a crime. He is not required to identify himself unless he has been arrested. The fact that at no point in time did the officer assert an arrest after claiming that he could for this and that bolsters the position the owner took and further shows that the evidence presented is more in favor of the proper owner. If I were presented this case as a juror based solely on the evidence shown I would side with the property owner. This comes off as an officer wanting to know where the MC individuals live and their names. At every possible chance the officer tried to coerce the property owners name, down to the signature on the citation. I will say this. I believe in the necessity of police officers. The only problem I had with this interaction is the methods used to coerce information. He tried, he may know of this club and they may cause trouble in the community. I don't think cops for the most part go around harassing the average citizen. I think there are cops that do have power trips and abuse that whenever they can when they know they can get away with it. Could you explain the purpose of a shift supervisor and their role while on duty? I was not aware that when requested that request can be denied. I assumed they were there to assess situations and give guidance. Nobody is perfect and sometimes cops can be mistaken on certain laws. There are a lot of them.

@Rovingdog628 Standing up for your rights is not belligerent. If the cop thought the bike was blocking the alley, which it was not, he could have asked the guy to move it. The guy was trying to move it anyway. If there really was a problem, which there was not, the problem would have been solved. The cop didn’t understand the law or didn’t respect it. He was in the wrong and behaving very irrationally. The cops job is to serve and protect, he was doing neither. What he was doing was causing a disturbance of the peace, abusing his authority and bullying a citizen. Not to mention, blocking the alley he had so much concern was kept clear of parked vehicles, although that’s the least of the problem he’s created. If this is how this cop behaves in this situation, he is a danger to the public. If I was his supervisor, I would write him up on his lack of situational awareness and I would make it clear that I thought he posed a risk to the force and to the public. I’ve seen similar situations caught on video where the cops were fired for irrational behaviour. I would not be surprised if this guy was fired. He’s put the force and the municipality in a bad situation.

There are no good cops. There were 376 cops at Uvalde while children were being killed, representing every single agency in the area, basically a sample size of every type of police agency in America. Which one of those 376 cops was a good cop?
Interesting how it's always the citizen who's "making things difficult" and never the officer.

They should give themselves a ticket for actually blocking the alley
I agree
You can hear his heartbeat in the video. Talk about threats, duress, coercion, mental anguish!
This is an example of why people have disrespect for police. This cop is committing a crime.
Yes, very thuggish behavior!
Everyday where I live since 1985.
We used to be able to sleep on the porch and locked and not lock the doors, now you get arrested for open containers beer even when the whole street is blocked off for a block party.
I've never respected the cops.
Exactly
How about a new law... When a cop threatens you on your property for ego reasons we get to shove a gun in their face and force their compliance.
I love how long the cop sits in the alley blocking it completely for most of the interaction

Don't these cops have some drug dealers to run down, or something. Good grief ! ! !
Rules are for thee, not for me..
Yet wrote him a citation for taking up 6 inches
@@patrickt.462 It's because the cop takes less than 6in in his pants. He had to write that ticket to feel big.
He's obviously refraining from calling his supervisor because he's caught problems before.
Or like in most places, other than UA-cam, there is no requirement for a Police officer to call a supervisor just because a disgruntled violator requests one.
@@HUBABUBA-il8fn Dude had every reason to be disgruntled after being harrassed for no violations.
@@HUBABUBA-il8fn hehehe we found the triggered son of a cop. Your rant was cute though! Keep it up and maybe some day, someone will care.
So much for protect and serve, those guys are so petty almost like they knew who he was
That cop literally had to stop and think about what he was trying to harass this guy for

How was the biker a jerk, protecting yourself from tyrants is the most American one can be. He didn't want his 4th amendment rights violated for a bogus parking ticket.
@Rovingdog628the biker was not a jerk in any kind of way he was a citizen that was rightfully angry at an obviously corrupt cop
@Rovingdog628no you should always argue with the police. When they are objectively in the wrong and when they unlawfully try to arrest you for it you sue the ever-living crap out of them, the city, and the department

Dad was right this is exactly why there is such a divide

When a cop does not follow the law, then the police department shouldn't protect them from being sued.
When they don't follow the law the lawsuit should be against them not the tax payers also.
@@hippychick420 Police officers have 'qualified immunity' and they have very strong police unions that will defend the officers even when they KNOW the officer did wrong. If and when a judgement is rendered against the officer or the PD, it is the CITIZENS of that municipality that actually have to pay the judgement...not the policeman.
It ends up being the city that is sued, and I say that cities should be sued to the point of bankruptcy and maybe then they will stop hiring these assholes, get rid of the bad apples that are part of their police departments.
I agree with you in that
Abolish qualified immunity. Why should an officer not be held to the same standards as the normal populace?
So they did an illegal search and seizure.

This is why civilians must be on all police review boards. Want this behavior to stop, this is the way. There should be no reason for police to resist this ,unless there covering for there own.
100 percent agree with this and it needs to be a review board that gets Rotated out so to prevent more police corruption.
Unless they are covering for their own? that is all they do!
Lawyers should be on these conduct review boards
Also, remove immunity from the police. Right now, cops don't care if they act like tyrant and there is a successful lawsuit - guess who pays for it. The CITIZENS of the community they are abusing. Getting people to stop abusing power when they pay ZERO price for doing so? Good luck.
Make individual police officers responsible for acting unlawfully and abusing their power. Cities and police departments need to provide MUCH more and better training - and once that is in place and documented, it should be on the COP. Let them get sued as an individual person and be held liable and you'll see a REAL quick change in attitude.
If it was like jury duty then yes, but if it is a civilian who wants to flex then no.
US Police Academy: 13-21 weeks
US Cosmetology School: 40 weeks
This is the result of unintelligent goons receiving abysmal training. It will continue to happen until police get better training and are also held accountable for their actions.
