Wait, as a huge fan I’ve been following this story since the start & I don’t remember why people hated on Jordan? Was it bc she said “no sirens”? Bc if so, then people should know that wasn’t even Jordan’s request but it was Demi’s (former) team, and Jordan was just following orders as an assistant. But one thing she didn’t follow was her (former) team’s screwed up request to not even call 911 in the first place in an attempt to keep this out of the media. I’m so glad Jordan didn’t listen to them & went with her intuition to call 911.
@@RSyed-tu4rn People hated on her because at that time it was speculated that they were using drugs alongside with her and the dealer. People thought they were trying to not get in trouble because she OD while they were there. Also, that was speculated because of the Narcan; they thought “they were prepared”. Now we know that Jordan arrived hours later and that the medical team applied the Narcan.
Just wanted to acknowledge Demi's former assistant Jordan Jackson who was put in a dilemma whether to call 911 or "not to make a too big of a deal out of it". In hindsight it might not seem like it but that's a damn hard place to be when you're not medically trained and are dealing with a high scale celebrity in an acute setting. She made an excellent decision and saved Demi's life.
@@cpain148 yes, I agree completely. Human life and health should come first but in those kinds of situations you might not be aware of the severity of the situation completely and try to balance it out with all the potential negative publicity, business damage etc all within couple of seconds. i think when we look at it in comparison, like if we look at Anna Nicoles death and the fact they waited so long to call 911 because they were afraid of the optics of the situation, it really shows you how brave Jordan was and that she most likely was a part in what saved Demis life.

Not necessarily “trauma for sure”. I have witnessed and went through something very similar, only much worse and I am fine!👊🏻 At least I think I am! Lol
Actually the doctors are dramatic on this aspect. I have dealt with multiple overdoses, when you overdose your vision goes out, a lack of oxygen to the brain, an off and low heart beat which is considered a heart attack. The lingo used isn’t what you think it is. There are different scales for all the words used.

Well don't do this to yourself. She is loved, successful, beautiful and extremely talented, why do this to yourself? I am glad she survived but I have little sympathy though.

Honestly true. I think part of that is deflection in their role in her becoming addicted to drugs (because forcing your kid into being a child star usually results in this. It’s a highly toxic environment that usually results in a ton of trauma and parents don’t normally seem to take responsibility or this).
Not everybody reacts the same way. Just because they aren’t sobbing during this interview, does not mean they don’t care. Part of their ways of coping is probably to stay strong and keep a straight face.
the fact Jordan thought she would get in trouble for getting help says a lot abt the team Demi was around before... THats just horrible and I am so glad she listened to her intuition and called for help. Thank you to Jordan and all the doctors that made sure she was going to be okay.
But Jordan said first thing she did was call her head of security, who's shown seated next to Demi in this video, while Jordan is her now former assistant. And she had to sneak away to make the call, implying there were members of her staff (suspecting security guy included) being present.

So true, what Demi and many others like her don't realise is the heartache and trauma they cause for those around them. I really hope she is better now mentally and never do this to herself and her loved ones ever again.
Her mom is so ditzy and so self unaware it’s sad. She seems to be blind to that fact and not realize that she has caused a lot of damage and trauma that she needs to atone for.
3 strokes and a heart attack, that already got me, but the fact that she was also taken advantage of sexually... that made me cry... Demi I truly hope that you will stay with us for longer, that you make the best of your life, if you need rest or time to yourself take it, do not force yourself into anything, self care is self love ❤

Its a sad world we live in. People want drama and to be in the know. If us consumers would stop feeding into it they wouldnt be following stars the way they do pressing for drama.
We as people always want more information than we should have and want things to be more than they are. Celebrities wouldn't have to worry about 'being seen out drinking' or 'wearing dresses' if it weren't for the fact that us people that feed off them just disregard that their human and think of them as objects who should be doing exactly what we think is 'perfect' I understand the sirens I wouldn't want the world knowing about something that the world isn't going to help at all. Only make worse really, and use it for more popularity and more topics to talk about. They wanted no sirens so that they would have less to worry about, less things to stress over other than the life of Demi which was the most important, which was all they should have had to worry about but couldn't because then there would only end up being more trouble.
The purpose of sirens is for ease when rushing through traffic. Demi also lives in LA which is a busy place so the sirens were necessary but yea, her privacy was important but juggling that may have been hard

They've likely all had a LOT of therapy to be able to talk about it at all. After a while of talking about trauma, it kind of feels like you're telling a story. You detach yourself from it and those feelings you had in the moment get locked away. Part of it is your brain protecting you and part of it is acceptance. It's all you can do.
They've had some time to heal....this was sooo hard for each of them to be a part of...especially Demi herself... True bravery and deeply sad but eye awakening ♡...

I’m seeing some comments that are assuming her mother gives a “bad vibe” or doesn’t seem trustworthy. I think lots of people owe Demi's former assistant Jordan an apology. People gave her so much hate because of her 911 call. She saved Demi.
I don’t have anything to apologize cuz I never judge her idk about the rest of the fans
@@selenaetc458 then clearly the original commenter wasn’t referring to you

Now we know that Jordan arrived hours later and that the medical team applied the Narcan.

Just wanted to acknowledge Demi's former assistant Jordan Jackson who was put in a dilemma whether to call 911 or "not to make a too big of a deal out of it". In hindsight it might not seem like it but that's a damn hard place to be when you're not medically trained and are dealing with a high scale celebrity in an acute setting. She made an excellent decision and saved Demi's life.
@@cpain148 yes, I agree completely. i think when we look at it in comparison, like if we look at Anna Nicoles death and the fact they waited so long to call 911 because they were afraid of the optics of the situation, it really shows you how brave Jordan was and that she most likely was a part in what saved Demis life.

Actually the doctors are dramatic on this aspect. Its a sad world we live in. People want drama and to be in the know. If us consumers would stop feeding into it they wouldnt be following stars the way they do pressing for drama.
We as people always want more information than we should have and want things to be more than they are. Celebrities wouldn't have to worry about 'being seen out drinking' or 'wearing dresses' if it weren't for the fact that us people that feed off them just disregard that their human and think of them as objects who should be doing exactly what we think is 'perfect'
I understand the sirens I wouldn't want the world knowing about something that the world isn't going to help at all. When her choreographer said "I was just with her" it really hit home cause wen I overdosed (not to the point of almost dying) my father said the same exact thing. He didn't understand how something could happen so suddenly after just being with someone.

At 4:02 when Demi’s mom said that there was people texting her “I’m sorry about Demi”... The worst thing to do is to text someone about something bad you know. It happened a lot to me when people text me that they’re sorry for the death of somebody that I know and I still don’t know what happened. @@imbored8056 He also said he made the conscious choice not to Google her because he didn’t want it influencing his medical decisions. Being escorted in by a security team and friends, and being told she’s famous, would have tipped him off that she’s not just your regular person, but he refrained from looking her up. That’s the point. Not a lot of people, even professionals doing their job, can resist that temptation.

I’m seeing some comments that are assuming her mother gives a “bad vibe” or doesn’t seem trustworthy. I mean isn’t the exact message of this documentary not to prejudice and judge, especially online?!
I mean the woman has been twice that road, first with her former husband who she had been abused from, and now her child, watching her slowly dying in front of her eyes without her being able to do anything! That is trauma and shock and of course she might seem strange because maybe she hasn’t had the time to completely breath in this process, she had to be strong for her. We cannot know what people feel towards their close relatives, especially the celebrities who we have a glimpse of their personality, life and everything else through media , who can capture 1% of 99% of their character. I think we shouldn’t judge without knowing all the facts and even then is not our responsibility to do so. Just don’t judge, especially in this online era when words arrive superfast and can have emotional and psychological impact on people we don’t even know!
@Sophia Leydon exactly. My grandmother was like that. People called her the “ice queen” because she never showed emotion during hard times. But she was the most compassionate loving person.
