Harris Yulin, (the actor who played the judge) really nailed it out of the park in this scene! You can't help but hate the man's guts, which just goes to show what a great actor he is!

The judge's change of opinion was priceless! One moment, he's like "Ghosts do not exist, and you, gentlemen, are a bunch of charlatans, frauds, and tricksters for believing they do!" The next moment, the ghosts show up, and the judge is like, "Oh, my God! I was wrong! Ghosts DO exist!" and he's on his knees, begging the Ghostbusters to do something about it before Louis reminds him of the legal stuff he got from the prosecutor, forbidding the Ghostbusters to do anything that involves catching ghosts.
The "Yes, sir"..."Be quiet"..."But..." gets me every time! :D
The ghosts just saved the Ghostbusters from paying a hefty fine and serving an 18-month sentence in prison. Perfect timing on their part! I especially love the part where the judge was at the mercy of the Ghostbusters, and they refused to do anything until he reversed the verdict and cleared the charges against them. Of course, Louis had to remind the judge of the legal stuff he got from the prosecutor, preventing the Ghostbusters from doing anything that involves catching ghosts, which was what they were trying to tell the judge in the first place, but still, they enjoyed watching him grovel as punishment for his actions towards them. It was their moment to shine!
And the Ghostbusters just saved the courtroom from the Sclori Brothers and having thier business back in action

Looks like Mel Bernstein survived, left Miami and became a feared judge in New York. 😮
Really wish Winston was there. I don't know why he wasn't.
Heres a theory. Peter, Ray & Egon were the first three main ghostbusters & experts in science that invented Ghostbusters. Winston was just the fourth guy to join their catching-ghost operation. The Ghostbusters went out of business since the events of the first film. Now this second film, the three that started it all (Peter, Ray & Egon) start to notice the scientific events that r happening b4 they ended up in court. Winston played no part in digging a big hole in First Avenue. Hence, hes not a defendant in the trial even though he was present at the court to hear about his friend's case. And when the trio caught the scoleri brothers in court, the Ghostbusters' restraining order was lifted allowing them to go back in business including winston as the fourth ghostbuster. The point is the second film is acting like Ghostbusters all over again starting with Peter, Ray & Egon. Then joined later by Winston. But still, I c no other reason y winston couldn't have joined them on digging the hole & catching the ghosts at court b4 going back into business as Ghostbusters 👻🚫

@@mariocooper1996 I'm glad u like it. The Ghostbusters r helpful, kind, heroic & loyal to people of New york, the city itself & all that it stands for. They don't deserve to b sued or treated unfairly by the city's government, forbidden to use their service. But seeing is believing. There r ghosts & mysterious spirits all over the city but the Ghostbusters save the day. The government then lifts their restraining order allowing them to continue their ghost-catching business.
Oh gosh it's the I tried them for murder 😳.
