Специально отслушал эту песню в исполнении Кейва и Металлики. Мартин - лучший исполнитель. Он придал ей объём и какую-то нереальную вибрацию. Голос у него такой, что заставляет вибрировать внутренние струны. После Мартина к исполнению добавить просто нечего. Законченный и отшлифованный шедевр.
I knew this guy had pipes on him just from everything that he's done with Depeche Mode and I knew he was a fantastic songwriter (again from DM) but hearing him perform his solo stuff live just proves that he is probably one of the most underrated musicians ever! What a talented guy (hope to see him the next time I'm able to because he is just phenomenal!)

Can you imagine if he covered this with Dave, and if MARTIN sang all the lower octave stuff and Dave sang the higher stuff... the juxtaposition would be awesome and totally unexpected

It was supposed to be a bit harder than Martin's performance, but at the same time more dynamic and stronger than Cave's.

An interesting remake, I like Depeche Mode it was one of my first concerts and Martin Gore has a beautiful voice. Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds still my top choice the way Cave does this live is fantastic. I have seen them both live many times and comparing them I can't.

One doesn't think about vocals with Martin that much, as David sings front man, but Martin is an excellent singer. He has quite a range.
