Thank you for a wonderful educational video's. My question is: when you keep your eyes on the bird and following, are your eyes fixed in the center and the head is moving??
Excellent and so true! Watch that bird, you will miss. See that bird & shoot - easier said than done & breaking a bad habit of watching too long, even for a split second - miss every time. Sometimes I just can't find my unconscious brain but when I do, I'm on a roll!
He probably wouldn't recommend it especially if you're dominant eye is on the same side as the side your gun is mounted (right-eyed and right handed/ left-eyed and left handed). I'm cross-dominant (left-eyed and right handed) and for years, I read that I was handicapped and I shot like I do with a rifle with one eye closed. Probably had about 40% accuracy or less. About 2 weeks ago,I went clay shooting and decided to try the whole session with both eyes open and despite my dominance issue, I broke 33/50 clays. I'm very excited and want to practice more.
This is works great!! Once went to a shooting-range, and could subconsciously project in front of my targets. Hitting all 5 present instructors dead in the chest. 10/10 would recommend!
it happened to me. i hit a bird with a rifle at something like 30 to 40 yards without thinking so much about the lead. it was totally subconcient. awesome
Baloney it doesn't work for me. I been trying to shoot shotgun well for thirty years. Owned 50 or more shotguns I even own a shotcam camera I just can't shoot a shotgun well.
You're maybe trying to hard. Hang up the gun for a few weeks and do something else. Also if you're doing long strings without taking a break that'll throw you off, you may be flinching and not know it.
Gil you make this process understandable and fun too. Thanks
Simply the best. thanks Gil.
Thanks Gil, I appreciate the level headedness and the proper instructions, thank you for taking the time.
