My dispenser would not dispense any water and water was coming out from the overflow tube. Contacted Primo, who directed me to this video. I was able to follow the instructions until the point when opened up the top cover. When I removed the cover for the reservoir, I found half of the water was actually frozen. At least 3 inches thick. I defrosted it and removed the ring of ice. Put it back together, started the unit and water started coming out of the overflow again. Unplugged it, opened up reservoir, closed it up again and turned it back on. So far no leaks. Video was very helpful to understand the components and how to remove them, check for any damage and then replace. Very helpful video!! Thank you
My bottom dispenser had a leak issue and I watched the 30 seconds where it explains how to fix this; it worked. Total time less than 5 mins! Thank you!
If the water is still leaking from the spout, one solution that I found was tapping both the light and dark blue buttons rapidly (doesn't have to be simultaneous). It may not work for everyone but it certainly worked for me!
My slow drip is from the cold side. I wish Primo would put up a schematic of the cooler because I found a little spring near the cooler and I think this spring popped out from the cold side and no longer keeps a tight seal when not in use to prevent water from dripping out.
TLDR: If you have a 601332 model and water is leaking directly onto the water jug in the lower "loading compartment", follow the video before calling customer support. I have a Primo 601332. Water was leaking directly onto the 5 gallon jug from the "floor" of the control compartment. This video advises customers with this issue to contact customer support. I followed the instructions in this video and quickly discovered that on this (or at least my) model, the overflow hose is not connected to the dispensing panel, and the free-running end of the overflow hose is dangling inside the control compartment housing. My units problem was a stuck water level sensor. I pulled the lid to the reservoir off as instructed, located the problem by plugging the unit back in and depressing the door switch (top left of bottom compartment near the door hinge) so that the unit would begin pumping water into the reservoir. Once the pump was engaged, I manipulated the water level sensor with my hand as if the reservoir was filled, and the pump disengaged. I manipulated it a bit more to ensure that it was freely movable as it was not dirty, then replaced the lid and let the pump run for 30-45 seconds until it shut off under normal operation.
Do not buy Primo! I had water a leak on top of cooling tank. Turns out to be float switch that shuts off pump when tank is full. Most likely a $2-5 item. I called Primo customer service and was told that I should buy a new $200 unit as they do not sell parts. As absurd as that sounds, that's what they wanted me to do. Needless to say I'm switching brands, as I don't need another failure prone $200 unit.
I had the same issue. If you buy a unit you're screwed. The warranty is for one year only after that they won't touch the machine not even for a service charge. When this dispenser goes I'm done. I won't purchase another one.
Well, my Primo started leaking fast from what appeared to be the tank. After removing the top, I removed the top of the tank and saw the two floats, so I noticed that they were not stuck. I connected the bottle to the machine again and noticed that the pump turned on but it didn't shut off, it started overflowing again. So I kept the top off and again hooked up the bottle and I manually moved the top lower float to see if it would turn off but it didn't. So I moved the top float and it turned off the pump, exactly the way it's designed to work. I didn't see an alignment arrow on the tank top so I shifted the position about 2 inches to the left from the original position and that's all I needed to do to fix it. Don't ask me why but it worked. Hope this helps someone else.
CS pointed this video out...didnt fix my reservoir leak and it appears its the sensor thats defective and Primo doesnt carry parts. For $200, one year warranty is a throw away. It's a disposable unit after one year is up. I've wasted $400 on 2 units over the years. The good thing is I bought mine from Costco so will take this leaking unit and throw it back at them and replace it with another brand. I wouldn't buy this directly from Primo or anywhere as once one year warranty is up, ya are out by $200.
Thank you for contacting us regarding your dispenser issues. We apologize for the problems you have experienced. Please contact us at social@primowater.com so we may provide further assistance.
We had this issue and as far as I can tell it was due to a bad float valve. There was no reservoir overfill so it just leaked down the side and appeared to be leaking from inside the dispenser. We took it back to the store and didn't bother to exchange it for another.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We really appreciate it. Please contact us at social@primowater.com if you still need assistance with this matter.
I did all these steps last week. I then went out of town and the dispenser leaked again, damaging the carpet. Now I have a water stain in my office. Other manufacturers like Britta have better track records. Primo customer service was useless.
Thank you for providing your feedback. We sincerely apologize to hear this issue occurred. Please contact us at social@primowater.com so we can provide further assistance.
Mine leaks but not all the time . Sometimes it may go 2 or 3 bottles without leaking it so random I thought maybe it was a defective bottle at first but it's definitely a problem with the dispenser. I won't buy another primo product again I should have kept my g.e. dispenser which was still working fine but I wanted a stainless steel model to match my kitchen
No body test this machine! The water keep running like is a bird bath or fish tank.. constantly flowing 15 gallons and 35 min later still going.. I bough a water dispenser not a Coy pond for my living-room. I love it how quick I graduate as electrician/ repair technician for Primo water dispenser.
I just took it apart and put back together and works fine now would really like to know what changed to make it work or is it just shitty factory workers that don't put shit together prop
I pull mine a part and back together and was no change at all. I wasn't that lucky even that I enjoy pulling electronic a part and back together. This one fail on me.
the video link for the spout leak didn't work so i took the top off as shown in the video. it appeared that one of the small plastic " spouts" inside was outside of the plastic guide. This may have been causing it to have the dispensing button in the permanent depressed mode. I popped the small spout inside the guide and it seems to have corrected the issue. Fingers crossed because i had about a gallon of water spewing from the spout when i first set it up.
My dispenser is leaking from the elbow hoses. I need to replace them. Yet, they are Not in your replacements parts. I tried your customer support... no help! There is No parts listed, so I do Not know what their correct names are... Can you help? The elbows are seen at 1:50 at top Left corner.

I switched the water bottle once and then it sucked up a bunch of a water and started dumping out the overflow hole. Now it seems to be fine. Should I take it apart and look at it?
Mine leaks from the top because it won't stop filling. I realized it was the floater not working properly. Everything else works. I called primo and the rep was not very knowledgeable. She suggested a baffle. She thought it was the lid and said it might contain a new floater. She said it cost $4.99. I was skeptical because it seemed too cheap. She sent me a picture and it turned out it did not contain a floater. They don't sell one. The rep suggested I buy a new water dispenser. In three years, I've purchased two. How frustrating that a very low cost part that one can easily replace is not available, so we are encouraged to buy a new one. Very low quality.
Brand new unit, Primo Free Standing unit. Slow leak from Cold and Cool water spout dispenser. After following these instructions per the video the leak has stopped. One comment, the revivor lid required a flat head screwdriver to remove the lid at the latch points. The tap levers were not seating correctly. By following the above video instructions corrected the problem.
2 months, 15 gallons later, well about 13 gallons later, leak from the pump mechanism on the last 2 gallons this afternoon all over my kitchen floor. this is going back to lowes, hope they'll take it back anyway, and I will stay away from this brand. convenient my butt by being bottom loading HAHAHAHA. I AM TYPING IN CAPS SO MY COMMENT STANDS OUT FROM THE REST BECAUSE I HAVE THE REAL ANSWER AND WHAT TO DO! WHEN THE UNIT IS BEING SHIPPED FROM CHINA THE TOP PIECE TO THE COLD RESERVOIR (WHAT THE COLD WATER IS CONTAINED IN)COMES LOOSE AS WELL AS THE FLOATS BEING MISALIGNED AT THAT POINT THEREFORE ALLOWING WATER TO CONTINUOUSLY OVERFLOW. ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS WHAT THE VIDEO SAYS AND JUST MAKE SURE THE TOP IS ON REALLY GOOD. YOU DONT NEED TO DUCK TAPE ANYTHING LIKE THE OTHER COMMENT SUGGESTED.

@@primowaterco is there a video for the self sanitizing models that have spout leaks? The levers don’t look the same. Mine leaked from the hot water tap all night last night and we woke up to a huge mess on wood floors. Your customer service agent was less than helpful when I called. All she told me is that it’s out of warranty and that I should clean it. Very frustrated with the lack of help. She and I both know that’s not the issue.
My float switch is faulty what is the part number? thanks

How do you "click here" my leak is coming from the spout.

Never buy Primo brand again! I can not find any replacement valve which started dripping after 1 year and they absolutely do not care to build for their products. and Yes I have already tried to clean it with vinegar!

@primowaterco I called your warranty customer service and guess what? They said they are under stuff and asked me to leave my name and email so they can call me back when they are available. This is nuts.
This brand sucks and no parts to replace. You guys want us to pay another $200 whenever there is something wrong after a year.
I can replace the valve, but there is NO PART to do it!
Top doesn't come off Like that

How do you empty resavore 601323
Hi - Great question! There is a plug inside the reservoir that will allow the water to drain once removed. Hope this helps!
@@primowaterco do you know where exactly
Buy at Sam's club or Costco and keep your reciept. Get a new one for free if you ever have an issue that can't be fixed. Problem solved
Mine just dumped 5 gallons of water on my floor. I discovered this between my two 16 hour work shifts. Im not happy

I did self sanitizing last week and then this started
Iko poa
We can’t click on the screen but this video didn’t help me because it’s leaking from the cold side spout
