- PEARL JAM performs BLACK at their concert at XCEL ENERGY CENTER night 1 in Saint Paul, Minnesota on 8/21/23. Filmed using a Panasonic ZS200 digital camera with 20x zoom in 4K resolution.
A lot of people complain about others not being present when recording concerts with their phones, but every once in awhile a masterpiece is recorded.
THIS is a brilliant performance and recording!! Thanks for capturing and sharing an absolute legendary song.
Protect this man at all costs. So very few of the voices from that generation are left to still sing.
I’m in love ❤ with this song…😅
Yes, I agree with both of you!!
@hubmanspencer7943 The last man standing.
Just incredible...all these years later....I'll never NOT listen to this masterpiece...McCready...just amazing...Eddie hasn't lost a step...anyone else find it so cool he still uses the same guitar after all these decades???
They really have been consistent forever. Just a gang of cool guys who met through music and give everything they have ebbing n flowing through every show for 33+ years… Truly one of America’s GREAT Rn’R Bands… please live forever Eddie Vedder 🙏 😢😮😅😊❤🎉
In Portugal, reading your comment and enjoying with happiness and nostalgia the beautiful Black. Good old memories of the 90s. Sweet. Miguel Batista
@@demeoanthony1810would you say they flow evenly?
@@Dooby_Scoot😂yeah man lollll
That guitar is his woman!
GOOSEBUMPS. From the day that song came to the earth. 32 years listening to this song gives me chills every time.
I cry every time I listen to or sing it.
I so totally feel the same.
How does he keep it together singing it every time ...
Ahhh that solo. Prince would have played it that way.
Amazing !!
The way the guitarist played that solo is the only way it can be played, with that pain feeling that we all have ever felt, greatest song of all time :,)
❤ the guitarist is Mike and he is the greatest guitarist of all time 💕🌸
Exatamente , essa música é demais!
Mike Mccready 💙💙💙
He’s fucking unbelievable.
Quando terminou meu noivado 98 ,quantas vezes ouvi essa música e de tocar no coração
Mike McCready just loses himself inside that solo every time, I never get tired of watching it. It also reminds me of being 14/15 years old in 1992 - 93 and going to bed every night listening to TEN, I would be in awe of this band when i listened to that album, hearing it now does something to me that is hard to ignore.
Guitarrista Fantástico !!!
That man has lost *nothing* as he's aged. His voice sounds incredible and he looks good, too!
Think they are great. 90% of American men could replicate Eddie's vocals though.
He looks better doing it though
@@paulfbeattyUtter nonsense. We would have an over-abundance of amazing male singers and we don't. You clearly haven't a clue about vocals. Daft opinion.
@@paulfbeatty.... in his prime There was a certain something that was not replicable by many And he was crazy as fuck too In a good way
His voice has aged like a fine wine.
Bro is literally making his guitar cry, that just hits different.
❤👏👏👏🎵🎵
Man that first album and this tune always takes me back to a better time...
I feel like there was a time where we could have lost Eddie like so many others. Let’s cherish these guys while we have them.
I’ve been married 27 years and this tragic song was mine and my husbands song. Ah the 90’s, how I miss it.
One of the greatest voices of the last 75 years
I am just speechless!!! This has to be the best version of "Black" that I have ever heard!!!!! I am forever a Pearl Jam fan!!!!
Search "Pearl Jam - Black (Prague 1.7.2018)" that's my favorite. Both of these are amazing though
Search Black 85
This is unbelievable! The band!!! His voice hasn’t lost a beat! Goosebumps. Fan since 92’
Mr. McCready, I salute you! Holy cow!
6:00 (The underrated) Mike McCready smashing it with the solo
That guitar solo was PERFECT!!
The young ones are very fortunate to experience a taste of what us older ones got to live.
I was ten years old when this song was released, I remember those days well , it’s amazing how much time has passed and I grew to understand the pain of this song , I love it now in my 40’s as much as I did if not more than back then . While we age and the vocal range changes , the impact of the music and nostalgia of the times past remain strong ❤
Thanks for filming! Standing first row, I would dropped my phone and just enjoyed the moment (and what a moment it was!!!) but somebody has to do it. 😉
Eddie still nailing it
Incredible! Beautiful! Heartbreaking!
Amazing after all these years he can still go back to that place and relive the emotion.
Maybe my favorite live version of this song ever after unplugged. So lucky to be there! Mike is the most underrated guitarist ever🤘🉑💜
I feel McCready gets all the glory for the guitar lics. To me Stone is the underrated one. Wasn't most of music on 10 written by Stone. That chord progression, major-minor scale change, that nasty push in there....totally Stone.
@@casey17wMike and Stone are both underrated 🤟✌️
U are si lucky to be there
@user-de9jl3ms9b very lucky I totally agree!! 😊🩷🤟✌️
I still love the Unplugged version.
Oooohhh!!! That guitar solo is 🔥🔥🔥
Mike mcCreedy sooo f'ing good ,after all the struggles he still DOING IT ,love this song so much , it reminds me of my lost love ,should have been you ,but il settle for memories ,carman loves eddie
Im here here for Mike's solo, and the crowd call back to Eddie. WOW. Please announce the next tour dates!! 🤩
90s will always have some of the best music and bands. I am so glad they still sound amazing.
So honored and privileged to be there that night
Hasn't Eddie Vedder got a brilliant voice and personality! He's a legend! ...❤
First time I've heard this guitar solo played like this. This song, solo, vocals, words..still great after all these years.
Brings me back to my high school years. 😌
Please God don't let Eddie come home to you anytime soon! We've lost everyone else!
Holy shit, that guitar solo made me tear up. Damn
You know you caught something extra special you know that's right? Mike Freakin McCready and that beautiful incredible solo 🎸🔥💓 And BEAUTIFUL SOOOOO BEAUTIFUL Eddie pouring out his heart! Damn 33 years on and Eddie still belting this song out, he is amazing and still as fine as he was all those years ago. Love the 90 s, we were so lucky it was such a sweet moment in time. ❤
Damn - takes my heart every time.
Es tan divino con sus 59 años!!❤❤ le doy todo lpm 😂🎉🎉
es hasta mayor que mi papá pero estoy de acuerdo con tu comentario jajajajjajja
Product of the 60's,,, this was quintennial in the 90's... Nothing better than hearing it live almost 40 years later,,,, and he brings it...
Just found this video. OMG he still sounds amazing!!!
Atemporal!!!!!!!!
Omg that solo 😳😳😳
They crushed it, especially Mike! Ada boys!
Wow, amazingly beautiful performance. Vedder sounds like it is still 1991. Time capsule. Awesome guitar solo as well.
with the Solo guitar make this song Perfect than ever!❤❤❤ feel the pain!
This concert was so amazing, They played the perfect setlist.
Meh. Better than night 1. But not great.

Fav song by PJ
Popped up on my Spotify recs and was blown away and came here next thinking there’s no way someone captured the beauty of this masterpiece on video… yes you did sir… what a spot you had!! Thank you from an old lady in SE TX 👍🏻
Very special performance of this incredible song, I was right there in the rail for it too!! Caught Mike's mind-blowing solo on video but so glad to see this video of the whole song!!! Thank you!! ❤️ I'm saving this one forever!!
Love this song forever. Chills... Big fan in 1992 and after. Then years of not following what they were up to, now after a lot of years still appreciate them. But even though I am older and aware of that, I still am sort of shocked at how time has made these guys older. I still remember them as they were in the nineties. Time flies, but these legends are still here.
Hi my name is carman ,and just wanted to say ,that you could have picked that thought straight from my head ,,spot on x
Cxx
Esse guitarra solo é monstro.❤😮 Parabéns.SP BRASIL
After all these years still amazing, still gives me chills....

Front row dude, nice work. Favorite song of PJ . Thanks for recording
Essa música eterna.Linda.Ele tbm lindo gatão.❤SP BRASIL
1992 pinkpop. The best concert ever. And they still rocking. Love this song
I agree. Eddie was so passionately singing Rockin in the free world. It was really amazing to watch, and now seeing how far they've come. I am so proud and happy for them.
Lookit, Ed reminds me so much of our dear friend, Jeff Bridges (The Dude) now. I love this part of the timeline.
know someday you'll have a beautiful life
I know you'll be a star
In somebody else's sky
But why
Why…Why can't it be
Why can't it be miiiiiine
(Since 32 years)
Oh man!! Guitar solo was practically guitar hero!! My respect ✌🏻😎✌🏻
Mike McCready is so great. Thank you for sharing. 👍
Mike McCready 🎸solo...🤯
His voice is so beautiful even when he speaks. So dee and mesmerising. Then the high notes he makes..incredible
Incrível como ele sempre canta com emoção. Que privilégio poder ouvir.
Great performance I'm from Brazil 🇧🇷 RJ
Eddie.. you are so fkn beautiful.. you SO loved!! Thank you for all you have done which has affected me positively.. xo
Mike Dziama is the new MVP of Pearl Jam live footage, lol.
He has a wonderful speaking tone ❤
I vote Sean Soyars
I agree 👍
Agree. TY for sharing ❤
Omg… the singing guitar is as stunning as Eddie’s voice
Black touches something deep in my soul. It’s so beautiful. I think it is because I have felt exactly the same way about broken relationships. Maybe that’s why so many people love it too. Eddie has such a great voice. Thank you!
Thanks to share ✌️
Thank God for my Bose speakers when Eddie/Pearl Jam comes on!!!!❤
Freaking amazing that's all I've got to say❤❤❤
LOVE this song ❤

Just amazing! 🤘
So good! He still sounds amazing!
everytime I heard this song... dammm, I remember always her :(
My first real boyfriend broke up with me when this came out…I still think about him and a couple others when I hear this
I always think of Eddie and the girl that he wrote this song for. I wonder if he still does?
Like fine wine 🍷
Lindo!
Very Good Song.. 🎶👍
Just INCREDIBLE
I would love an autographed photo of Eddie, his music touches a part of my soul after suffering two ruptured brain aneurysms multiple strokes and heart attacks my memory and emotions collide constantly making me feel so much confusion and anger about a problem i have no control over which alot of his music shares similar angst and frustration i see him as having similar mentality with similar issues be it past present or future i believe he has equal mentality on the topic as well as a brilliant and humble musician
Epic..a fan from Day 1!!!
Thank you for sharing
This song is timeless. Give me chills every time. Love it. 2023 still lisening
great footage!..and sound! nice job!
