I would recommend getting an actual protein mask, if you look on the nutrition label you’ll see that mayonnaise actually has no protein in it and eggs only a small amount. Egg protein is not the kind of protein that found in the hair, we have keratin while eggs have ovalbumin. Also, with food masks I would say not to do them because any molecules and nutrients that you think your hair will be receiving from the mask are too big to penetrate the hair shaft so it just sits on the top and makes it feel like you’re hair is moisturizer when it’s really not. It’s good that you clarified afterwards but I think you’ll see a bigger improvement if you get a hair mask with hydrolyzed proteins or silk amino acids in it.
