- I've never tried feeding my Arowana mealworms before so I decided that today is thee day to try it out. Mealworms are the larval stage of the black mealworm beetle and they are very rich in protein and other nutrients. Also, I'm really sorry if this video offends anyone who is against live feeding.

Very good food. do not give too much, can cause intestinal congestion, keep the mealworms cool or they will quickly turn into beetles.

I feed my Jardini mega worms. Gut loaded with fish pellets first of course. He loves it. Try feeding him freeze dried black worm cubes too.

You should call your arowana Torpedo because of how he/she torpedoes right into the food the moment it lands in the water haha.
The fish in my 30 gallon get to eat live food from time to time because the aquarium lights attract flying termites during their nuptial flights and many of them crash into the water. I usually see several pairs of wings floating on the water. I also tried feeding newly hatched baby Lateralis Cockroaches once to my fish before. I have a breeding colony that I keep to feed my tarantula(a female Honduran Curlyhair) and every week I usually harvest 4-5 roaches from the colony but they always keep breeding so there's a lot of newly hatched roaches also running around. The fish eat the baby roachses with as much enthusiasm as your arowana. The Golden Pencilfish especially. I only feed them baby roaches very rarely though.

No I can’t as I’m not an arowana expert and I don’t have any details on your tank and water parameters. I’ve heard that it’s sometimes normal for aria to not eat. Just make sure to keep your tank water clean

You should follow the instructions on the packaging. I wash sand but usually just leave soil alone

How do u recomend Ar-g2 ? will ur fish eat it as a pellet?
My arowana won’t eat it but my other fish will. I’ve heard that ar-g2 is good though. I just don’t want to bother with training my arowana to eat pellets. I’d still recommend it.
@@RyoWatanabee mine still eat it for breakfast but dont want eat it for lunch or dinner, lunch and dinner i give crickets 😄

Water quality are the issue of the Arowana jumping out . Get a 90% water change , buy a benefical bacterial powder and add some salts .

I just got myself a pearl arowana... got the advice from the seller about feeding it pellets because it still small so it’s quite wasteful to buy live feed as it comes in a big bag... starve the arowana for a day or two before feeding it pellets

Feed superworms instead, it's better than mealworms because the amount of chitin is less in superworm.

Someone said that you’re the asian paul cuffaro. I don’t agree with that 100% cause paul overstock and buy almost everyday of fish and not take care of them he’s just doing it for the views and content not actually caring for them.
