Wow lovely plants. Thanks for sharing. What happened to Malsiana Tropicals? We used to be able to browse the nepenthes pages. Now it just says, Come back Within A Few Weeks but it's been months if not years. They had such cool stuff. Kinda scary that all that's left is what growers haven't killed off. I've killed my fair share of plants. We all have. I love my amp I got from you btw. I hope you'll get the all green or all red back in.
Hi Drew, there’s seems to be a lot of back and forth on the internet about growing edwardsiana, where some people say it’s easier than hamata, some say it’s the same as burb, and have recently seen someone say it’s just as difficult as Villosa. Was just wondering on what your experience was, I know you said intermediate, but was curious as to more specific - does it want to die off if it gets less than a 15 degree drop? Does it have to stay below 80? My understanding is the most critical aspect is great drainage and humidity, and even temperature drop works just fine 80 and 68-65, but would be happy to hear if that’s false. Thank you
We wouldn't recommend a drop to only 65. We've heard anecdotal cases of some growers having success in intermediate conditions but for us it's never worked. Edwardsiana is really picky about environmental changes and even something as simple as a few weeks at the wrong temps have nearly killed our plants and other experienced growers. Jeremiah had a similar experience.

It can be a bit picky. That's why we produce hybrids with it that are much easier to grow but have the same cool characteristics.
