It's actually insane to me that I can buy a house for what I'm about to pay for a car in the US. I am under very serious consideration of stopping buying this car and pocketing the money to take to Russia and finally have a place I can call my own. I've always rented and never dreamed I would own a home. It appears the American dream is dead, but the Russian one is just beginning. I've been to Russia and I love it. But I really never thought I'd actually live there. Guess I'm gonna have to start taking Russian lessons.

The fact the overwhelming majority of people own homes in Russia and the fact the cost is from what I can tell over 73% cheaper. I'd say it's worth it. I have lost hope of my dream to ever own my home here in the US. On top taxes and living cost? Yeah, no way. The system here has tricked people into thinking the house @21:51 is the standard. Anything less is "Poverty". I'd be more than happy with just a little tiny house like @6:05 in a small little town or village. I really believe home ownership is such an underappreciated thing.

My wife and I both came up not completely poor, but low lower middle class. We started buying property in Panama City Beach Fl. in the late 80s, when most people still didn't know about it. Even then, if you had a million bucks, you could retire young. Now here we sit, both near 70 years old, We just sold one beach condo, we have nearly 2 million bucks liquid, & more real estate we are try to unload before the election. Nothing is enough when you have a government like America does.

In the States your Salarys are a lot higher average is 40k to 80k Per year ....In Russia average Salary is 300 USD to 500 USD per month or $3600 to $6000 per year, can you live on that LOL. New people will get the lower end. ...These people are not telling you these things.. You better have minimum 50,000 USD when you go to Russia. @@mikeunt44 World Bank has updated the world’s GDP at purchasing power parity (PPP) The organization estimates that Russia is among the world’s top economies. Russia became the world’s fourth-largest economy, ahead of Japan. Russia also became the first country in this list of Europe, ahead of Germany. The GDP data presented are based on official country data published by the World Bank and IMF in purchasing power parity terms. The PPP was introduced in the 30 years of the 20th century into the practice of statistics in the UK to objectively assess the defense potential of countries. Nominal GDP simply indicates who has more money. GDP by PPP shows precisely the SIZE of the economy in a particular country. This indicator will be the most objective in determining the rating of the state economy. But, as we all see, money is not smeared on bread, and do not full the tank. It is the physical availability of goods and services that is important. And therefore GDP on PPPs is much more important.
For example, Russia has one of the lowest electricity tariffs. It is almost ten times lower than in the UK, four times lower than in continental Europe, and twice lower than in the US. The cost of utilities is 5 times lower.
Russia has become one of the top three economies in the world with the lowest per capita public debt ($2,076). It also included India ($ 1,316 per person) and Indonesia ($ 1,747).
Over the past two years, Russia has built 100 million square meters of housing. Who bought them? Russians bought 26 percent more cars in 2023 than last year. Where did the money come from? Russia has built 2 billion square meters of housing in 20 years. Radio Svoboda - Russians spent 17 billion rubles on the AliExpress in one day. Where did the money come from?

Мои 5 центов. Учитывать! 1.

In Russia, the dictatorship of conscience is a dictate of God and the Divine World.
Russia is now a capitalist society with authoritarian rule. The model of society called authoritarian social capitalism is being built.
It is dangerous not to have an opinion and a powerful counterweight... Never trust the world community if your country has oil - or at least something (from Colonel Gaddafi’s lessons for the world’s leaders). Although, if you are willing to be by managed resource, you have nothing to fear, what they will tell you - you will do! They will say to give - and you will to give , they will tell you die - and you'll die. And even you'll thank him for it...... that’s what a dictatorship is.
The Russian World focuses on the formation of Man as the God of Word, and neokons focuses on the formation of man - as the Slave of Sin - with all the resulting strategies for the formation of the "new man" and the "new world order".
As long as there are Russians, the world will not collapse.

The housing market is ridiculous. i've met many families who have sold their houses because of the Tax rates going up and mortgage recalculations too high to manage. They had to sell their house and move into a rental townhouse. AND they aren't alone. They are living with siblings, cousins. Anyone to reduce the cost of the rentals which is also absurd. Also, new Canadians (Ukrainians) having to rent with 4 adults in one house (2 couples) just to afford it! These are fully grown adults who have jobs, salaries, etc. All unable to afford to live in homes. We are NOT considered an 'expensive' city. It's crazy.

I could buy a lot to build a house on for about $350,000 (they won't let us live in a shed though).
I could buy an apartment coffin for about $380,000---$530,000 (with monthly maintenance fees of $400/month, $200/month heating, water $50-100/month, plus taxes of $150-200/month). So just to live in an apartment coffin you own it would be at least $700-800 a month in fees, heating, water.
If the gov't comes up with more climate change taxes you'd be paying even more.
Land and a house like the first one you show here would be $1,200,000-$1,500,000 if it was slightly outside of town. Taxes and fees of course go up also.
Canada is certainly not worth these prices.

Here in USA, there are many houses in the $30,000 price range, particularly in the rural areas of the midwest and the south. These houses are typically located in blighted areas and are generally old and dilapidated.
Also: in most areas you can buy a "manufactured home" in the $30k price range. Those are often on "leased land". Strangely, the concept is widespread here.

In the city where I live, a lot of residential complexes are being built with houses for every taste, color, size and purse and 90% of these houses do not even fall into the the ad is because they are quickly bought. There are people who buy an unfinished house still at the excavation level. There are a lot of designer houses being built now, they are all very beautiful and everything is thought out there and they are also quickly bought. There are many entire residential gated complexes, where there is almost everything on the territory from a cafe and a shop, to a police station and a medical center.
By the way, I recently saw Jeff Monson in our city, in one of the shopping malls, who was fighting with Fedor. It turns out he's been living here for several years, and I didn't even know)) And he works somewhere in the administration of a small town😮 and in the city of Ufa he opened his own wrestling school

St Augustine Florida the average house is 400 thousand dollars. Young people can't afford to buy a house..those interior doors and hardware are very expensive in the states .Maybe show the pay scale of the different careers , trades and so on , thanks .

But the problem anywhere in the states is always the same: when houses are cheaper it’s probably because it’s in a poor school district and your neighbors are kind of sketchy

I'm an American living in Japan. If you are willing to move in the middle of nowhere in Japan, you can get some abandoned houses for next to free. But, the catch is, as it is in Russia I'm sure, is the cost of building materials. Building materials have been going up all over the world. Russia does have lots of land so I could see getting a country place with lots of land cheap. But keep reno costs in mind.

In my area of Sweden you can buy a house for US$25000 and there are areas even cheaper. But in Stockholm a 18 m2 apartment costs at least 150000 it's all about the location.
The problem right now is that it's very difficult to transfer funds to buy anything in Russia.
And Krasnodar is not immune from the affects of SMO.

I found your channel, yay. I too am a veteran. Fully disabled, so I don't know if I would be granted permanent residency. Is there anyone You recommend I talk with???? The prices of properties here in the US are so crazy for crappy houses with no character and the ones built in the last five years are all falling apart. Harsh life is my friend and I too need peace and quiet with little to no loud noises. Again, if there is anyone you recommend I talk to to get started, thank you.
