What I like the most about the Serious Sam easter egg is that it turned up in the Egypt themed level since most Serious Sam games take place there.

Serious sam is my favorite sci-fi fantasy
I've now seen two games where you can find evidence of Raz's death. The other is A Hat in Time. Specifically the last room of Queen Vanessa's Manor if you use the dweller mask.
Ive never had the pleasure of playing half-life 2, but as a teenager, i found the case for the game and in it was a player manual/walkthrough with a bunch of developers art for the game and it made me love a game, without ever playing it. Crazy
If you happen to have an Xbox, you can try to hunt down a copy of The Orange Box. It's backwards compatible.
I think its more a reference to desmond instead if ezio considering he does look a lot more like desmond but hey same game so it doesn't really matter
For Video Game Easter Eggs/References to other Video Games: In Zombie Army 4's Ragnarok Part 2 DLC during the first "Survive the Ambush" objective, one of the characters, when giving story exposition about the beginning of the universe, says the line "In primordial space, timeless creatures made waves."
This is referencing the exact same line from Marathon 2 of the famous Marathon series.
The Duke Nukem skeleton in Serious Sam 2 wasn't the only jab at Duke Nukem Forever.
There was a conversation between the aliens referring to Duke, just not directly.
The last one doesn't have to be specifically Ezio and just ANY Assassin really
Would've been cool that if in Mad Max they had a reference to Snake from MGS considering MGSV released on the exact same day as Mad Max.
Glad to see Mad Max getting more acknowledgement nowadays though. ☺️
It's definitely a good game but got absolutely destroyed by other games releasing that same day

DOOM 2016 also has the skull of Commander Keen (identifiable by his football helmet) impaled on a pike.
A subtle note about the assassin from Rage 2, the painted star on the ground had several mattresses spread out and he missed.

So I recently started playing Dead Island 2 and I realized the circuit breakers in the beginning of the game have a little yellow padlock on them that is a lockout tagout lock for industrial use and it actually makes sense for it to be there
Duke nukem 3d has many dead characters. Doom guy, luke skywalker, i think indiana jones, and probably more. Im not sure if it was just the anniversary version that had these easter eggs

I'm pretty sure the Serious Sam easter egg is only from Anniversary Edition because it's in E5L4, and E5 is added in this edition.

If Rage 2 wasn't so long ago, I'd swear it was from this new Mirage game; the blood splatter on the ground resembles more his red smoke bomb.
Heck yeah! I've been waiting for the Gordan Freeman easter egg in STALKER to appear on this channel for a while. I found him when I played through Shadow of Chernobyl and carried his pistol with me through the rest of the game. His pistol, a unique varient called "Big Ben" is also speculated to be a reference to Gabe Newell of Valve. This is from the STALKER fandom wiki, so it's not official, but it's also another cool reference.

Cap'n Egg, there is a reference in the new Cyberpunk 2077 expansion, Phantom Liberty City where in the camp in the abandoned building in Dogtown, there is a poster with the name Dead Life 3, another reference to the lack of the third entry of the Half Life series

You can also find a dead Gordon Freeman in Prnumbra Overture. You have to steal his crowbar from his dead body.
Pretty sure the Doom one is one of those city guards talking about the "arrow in the knee" all the damn time xD

Interesting detail: If you approach the much hated Nazeem in Skyrim as a naked man, their is a chance he might say your presence makes him uncomfortably hot. There is also dialogue hinting that he might be gay, and that's why he spends so much time with Jarl Balgruuf. His woman also seems to have a lover, because Jensen in the Temple of Kynareth has a key to the deleted Wintersand Manor, just like Ahlam and Nazeem.
4:20 don't forget the "strange town in Russia", which probably refers to Ravenholm!

3:40 unless the devs confirmed that I fucking doubt it, just because Heath Ledger said "why so serious" doesn't mean that everyone who ever says it is making a reference, the game is called Serious Sam and this seems fairly self explanatory.

I found a scene in the big canal in Night City that made me think it was the two protagonists from the similarly located chase scene in Terminator 2, in a bad end reference. Not sure if you've ever covered this, and of course it isn't video game character exclusive, but the Cyberpunk reference in this video reminded me of it so I figured I'd go ahead and mention it.
There is also a Mad Max/Furiousa reference in cyberpunk.

if i remember correctly, there is a version of MAD MAX with Freeman easter egg was not a burn body but a corpse with H.E.V suit (damaged). the crowbar is more red color

Hey, I know a few details or secrets in some games, one of them is in transformers fall of cybertron during the Jazz chapter, I stumbled across it when I was trying to find some recordings of other transformers or blueprints, another thing I found is in a game coming out soon called kill it with fire 2, a reference to the shining.
In GTA IV you can find in an apartment a wall and whats written on the wall makes it look like Claude, Tommy and CJ died
hey fun fact about Doom 2016, so there are 3 fallout references, 2 are well known but the third is far more subtle, the toy "stealth guy" is odd, simply put its a dark grey but a dark maroon visor, this is near teh same exact coloration as the chinese stealth suit.
That San Andreas one was awesome. Haven't come across it yet either
Gordon Freeman (or Eli Vance) make an appearance in the Metro franchise. Specifically the records building in Exodus' Caspian level.
Doom 2016 also has a corpse of Commander Keen a character from ID software pc game of same name Commander Keen also appeared in Doom 2

I nearly gave up on San Andreas in 2011 because I got so sick of hearing "just follow the damn train CJ!!" God I hated that mission almost as much as the RC Helicopters from vice City.
Thank you for shining some light on Mad Max! It's a VERY underrated masterpiece that I played for hours. Please if you've never played it, play it!

There are 2 neat little details in Starfield during the Unearthed mission that I don't think you have covered yet.
1) In the room right before the no gravity zone, the one after the long ramp down, if you open your scanner you will notice that the gravity of the area is not 1 (the normal gravity of the level) but is actually 0.75. This detail is cool since it is pretty immersive (as you are approaching a no grav zone) but you would almost never notice it unless you were walking around with your scanner up and was checking the grav during that small zone.
2) This relates more to how the game handles the different zones of gravity, but if you enter the no grav zone through the office and turn around, you will see all the office supplies fly off the desk. It turns out that the way the game simulates localized gravity anomalies is by setting a zone where when you enter the gravity of the map gets changed to the appropriate number and when you leave that zone it gets changed back.
The former is a cool little detail that is immersive, the second is something that modders will undoubtly use when the Creation Kit for Starfield comes out to make some cool level design.

while on the topic, even Witcher 2 referenced a dead assassin from Assassin Creed, Duke Nukem Forever referenced a dead Issac Clark and Duke 3D also referenced a dead Doom guy.
