Hi! For some reason my Talk Back section is grayed out and I can’t select it
Hi, first I'd like to know if this voice can be heard just on cable box channels or with everything, including apps like Netflix and UA-cam If this is happening just with the cable box channels, then you'll need to go into your cable box accessibility settings and, from there, disable TalkBack. If this is happening with apps and channels, then you'll need to perform a software update by pressing the Menu/Home button and then going into all Settings, then System Settings, and then Check for Software updates, try these steps and let me know how it goes, Thanks for watching
my tv says it is updated but i still have that button greyed out
Hi, I just found a solution to this situation, if your Vizio TV remote has a PIC button then first, Press and hold down the CC button for 5 seconds and then press and hold down the PIC button for 5 seconds and you should be able to disable this, try it out and let me know, thanks for watching

How do I turn on the microphone? So that I can speak into the remote?
Hi, please try pressing and holding down the Voice Button while you're speaking into the remote; it should do certain functions like opening or closing Apps, or looking for your favorite shows. If this does not work, then try these steps:
1-Press Settings on your remote and go to all Settings, then System, then Voice Remote, and select Pair new remote, Once you're there, you should read the instructions on the screen, but normally you should just press and hold down the Mute and Voice button on your Vizio remote until you see your remote flashing red, and then you should be able to use your remote with voice commands, let me know if further assistance is needed, thanks for watching

What if talk back is disabled and you cannot turn it off?
Hello! Let's start by checking if you have a cable box connected to your TV If you hear the voice only when using the cable box channels, then, you'll need to disable "TalkBack" on the cable box. To do this, you can use the cable box remote to access the settings, navigate to Accessibility, and disable TalkBack. If this doesn't apply to your situation, then you may consider checking if you have any other external device connected to the TV like Roku Stick or Google Chromcast if so, then try to disable this by going into the settings of these devices, let me know how this goes, thanks for watching 🫡

Hi, check if the Talkback option is On because if it's off already under the Accessibility menu, then the function may be activated in your cable box if this happens just in regular channels or when you turn the volume up/ down, however, if this happens with all the apps on your tv no matter what you play on your tv then, just check if you are using the supplied the Vizio remote control if so, you should be able to disable it, and if this does not do the job then you should try to Factory Reset your Tv, here's a video with a step-by-step guide to doing so ua-cam.com/video/9EVmnIsFsok/v-deo.html

for some reason i cant click it, it says talk back is on, but it is blocked out and i cant click it
Hi, please try this: When you have the "TalkBack" option highlighted, just try to press the left or right arrow button once and check if that turns it off, if so let me know and also make sure you use the Vizio Remote control. Something important as well is to identify if this voice can be heard just when watching regular channels or with everything, including Apps, because if this happens just with channels, then you may need to disable this on your cable box but please try the first step and let me know how it goes. I had mine in Spanish and it wasn’t letting me click on it either. I changed it to English and it let me. You can change it back to Spanish when you’re done. Hope this helps

Press the settings button, then scroll down and select All Settings, then look for System, and then Select "Language " and right here, just press the left arrow button to change language and do not move from this menu let it do the change for like 2 seconds and then set it back to English, and right after this press and hold the CC button on your Remote and you should be able to turn it off, let me know how it goes, thanks for watching🫡
