I didn't learn this at all in a pool and in barely 1 m. visibility was expected to do it in a course OW dive. One of the many things that makes me think I am too stupid to learn to dive. Thank you for reassuring me that the more you practice, the better!!!!!
Quite possibly bursts open then comes floating back through the water and is no use to anyone. Hence why we should practice and practice whilst applying the basics and fundamentals of diver theory such as Boyles law! Great question thanks for asking!

What happens to the DSMB that does not have a over inflation dump valve when it reaches its capacity?

@@ionspy1639 Well, yeah, but it depends from what depth you deploy it. At 10 meters you only need to inflate half. At 30 meters only a quarter.
