The narration is by John Malkovich, from the opening of the movie 'Alive'. They left off the end of the quote: "That's the god I met on the mountain."
Yes but if they used the last line of dialogue it would bring the mountain a specific thing. I think they wanted to use a broader sense of situations we find ourselves in that challenge us. Of course, knowing the origin of the dialogue leaves me feeling very differently about listening to this piece evermore.
I have synesthisia so the beauty of the sweeping highly emotional tones in this music to me is like a spiritual experience. I am so moved by the sounds, I think I’m meeting with a higher order too x

I wish we were living in the same world like it was in 2012! I heard this mix in Brisbane, Australia backpacking when I was 22 staying in a hostel, I had someone I loved and I wish I could turn back the clock.
I still can't face life without drugs, but I think I'm getting closer to that.
I used to sit in a hot tub under the stars with this in the back ground that's probably the calmest and most serene I have ever been.

I think that those little things are the most important, if it weren’t for this song then who knows where you (and many others) would be right now.

Never heard of UNKLE till 10 minutes ago (Saturday 10/13/2012), but love this composition/mix/version. Moby's "God Moving Over the Face of the Waters" used in "Heat" is still one of my favorite instrumentals ever.

Thanxxx 4 this! I had never heard this mix. UNKLE is probably my favourite music style. I can't really say band, because The only constant is James Lavelle. I also think that calling UNKLE a "band" kinda cheapens what it is... music. Plain and simple. This was mixed perfectly. I never would have thought these two songs would work together, but that's what makes UNKLE in my mind... a blend of what you don't expect.
