He's 77 now and had a stroke- but still remembers this song from Hawaii. I hope to perfect it and play it for him soon! Thank you again!
Thank you for the song. You say that the striking pattern is down, down up down, down up down... However you strum, down, down up tap (!), down up tap...ie, you tap on what should be the second 'down'... It was a bit confusing for the beginner anyway... I will continue to watch your videos though as I like your easy lay back approach to your lessons... Thank you again😁
Yes, you are correct. I’m doing a chunk at times to make a bit of a percussive sound. Keep watching and check out some of our other videos on strumming.
