    It's too hard for me to round up my chickens when they are awake and sassy. I wait until they go to sleep and roost at night and I can just walk in quietly and easily pick them up, one by one, do what I need to do and put them back to roost. Easy peasy. I'm an old lady with back issues so there's no way I could chase them around. I'd rather be up a few hours at night dealing with the chickens than to hurt myself.

      Are you NPIP testing at night? Are you taking them inside somewhere to do it so you can see to do the blood draw and read the antigen?

      @@homesteadevolution Yes, I have a work shed with tables right next to the chicken coop.
