Arab, European FM's to meet on developing 'comprehensive plan' for peace for Israelis, Palestinians

- Norway, Ireland and Spain said Wednesday they were recognizing a Palestinian state, a move welcomed by Palestinians as an affirmation of their decadeslong quest while Israel recalled its ambassadors to the three countries. Several countries in the European Union indicated in recent weeks they plan to make the recognition, arguing a two-state solution is essential for lasting peace in the region. Some 140 countries have already recognized a Palestinian state - more than two-thirds of United Nations members - but none of the major Western powers have done so. And now as European Union foreign affairs chief Josep Borrell urges the 27-member bloc to find common ground on a two-state solution, FRANCE 24's François Picard is joined by Norway's Minister of Foreign Affairs Espen Barth Eide.

The Palestinian children will have a dignified place to grow and thrive without colonial subjugation from so called democratic states. ethnic irradication of palestinians is despicable, and will be abated . The world unites for HUMANITY
I agree they should have their own state so they will stop living on benefits and work
History of the people in that region goes back thousands of years and it is complex with a lot of sentiment on both sides.
Especially if you take into account the religion aspect in that region in chronological order First there was Judaism 12 century BC, then came in the first century AD Christianity and finally in 692 AD came Islam.
I can understand a certain emotion and willingness to do the right thing by all those other nations, but this is not it...
A third party cannot freely meddle between two different entities which have such a big difference and hatred between them.
First it is not it's place too make plans for both of them and set or even demand terms between them or make them for one of the entities.
Any and all proposition that a third party put forth will be ignored by one or even by both parties.
Secondly this Conflict / War between them at this moment needs to be resolved or it needs cooldown first.
When both parties are open to communicate again you can maybe try to mediate between them if they so wish.
And willingness to be able to communication needs to be there, before any possible third party guidance is welcome, let alone pointing fingers and demand certain things.
This conflict no matter what other nations decide will not be solved easily, even when they are willing to do it with a lot of force and tyranny.
Like forcibly separating both peoples and keep them apart like a new iron wall patrolled by other nations.
2 State Solution was rejected by Palatines.
1 State Solution is not wat Israeli wants.
And Separating both people is not what both parties want.
They both want the territory as they say "From the River to the Sea".
Also for both people this saying have a different meanings.
For Israel is was "Both people live on the land in a country named Israel"
For Palestine is means "Wipe all the Jews so we can have back our own land called Palestine."
Now I don't claim that every Palestine and Israeli think the same but this is overall the way the leaders and a lot of people think.
Hamas as a terror organisation, Which is now representing the Palestine People is also not a good thing for the Palestine people and will never be accepted by the other party in this conflict.
Talking and trying to get Hamas to stop this War they began and give back the hostages is the first criteria that needs to be met, before anything else.
What is Iran's position on normalizing relations with Israel in exchange for a two state solution? Hmm
Why should any country normalize relationships with a nation led by bullies and killers? Israel needs to find better leaders that actually want peace first. And I mean real peace, for all.

The Norway FM is the problem with diplomacy. The ICC is independent of the statehood position? This should be a headline in Israeli media - ‘they are not really ganging up on us.’
Muslim countries should not have discriminatory policies against any non Muslim citizen living in Muslim countries like in Indonesia, Malaysia,Pakistan, Egypt,Turkey….etc

This is putting carth before the Horse. You can't make the announcement and expect to have any leverage with Israel. I hope this will work out, but these announcements make it more cumbersome. Also, there can be no peace without everyone coming to the table.
Sanctions, sanctions and more sanctions. Till they abide. We’ve given Is a state but yet to fulfill that promise to the Palestinians.
I think this is a good move...waking up Israel that they are not the overlords and the Palestinians to wake up and have faith and start eventually to work on a two state solution.
My prediction of the plan: evacuate remaining Gazans to Egypt and Turkey permanently without even asking the countries' citizens and pretend you did something good
How can Hamas be disbanded as a military force. Either Palestine will be disarmed and thus propel future conflicts. Or, Hamas would be rebranded and incorporated into the Palestinian state's military. No need to walk around this issue.
