Love this artsy jacket! Thank you again Tracey, as always it is beautiful!! Thank you so much for all the time you take showing and teaching us your techniques, Brenda
This turned out SOOOOO CUTE! When I wash things like this, I put them into a pillow case. I tie it with t-shirt yarn. This way if something were to come loose, it would be saved in the pillow case❤ I too turn the jacket inside out.

You can get products to set the color. Retayne from a quilt store. You can also use a product called color catchers to put in washer and they will pick up die in water. Quilters use both these products to prevent fading or bleeding.
I've had a thrifted (already pink!) denim jacket for a couple of months and couldn't decide what to do with you - you inspired me to upcycle it today! Thank you thank you!
I love it!!! I live in a small town with one thrift store so when ever I get to leave town I’m all about the thrift stores it’s the only place I want to shop all the treasures you can find it’s just so fun❤. Look forward to your next video
I really enjoy the videos you make where you upcycle clothing. It's wonderful because you share so much detail in the products you use and the steps you take. Thanks for giving me more confidence to try things on my own.
That is FIRE~~~!!... I want one in Pink.. Peach.. light blue... yellow and purple??... yess perfect summer grab and go and look boutique!! uh boy I will be stitching for a while.. great tv time project!! ( I dont watch anyway.. I have to keep hands busy.. I listen and glance at tv haaa) so nice to see you making things again.. ( love your new style wardrobe too.. very classy)

Wow, what a work of art. This is amazing. Your so clever. I just found you somehow and Ive spent all morning watching what you get up to. Super interesting, and just so you know, you are absolutely beautiful x
Welcome back! Hope you had a lovely time visiting! I love the jacket! I’m always looking for some “couch time” seeing, too. When you said your thread went wonky…I always “wax” my threads when I hand sew. They very rarely twist or knot.
Hi there! How do you wax the thread? I'm guessing maybe a block of wax to run the thread over? Would a person just look up "wax for sewing" on Amazon?💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
I love doing bead work, it’s so fun . I use to do my daughter’s pageant dresses when she was little . I am doing my daughter in law to be a jacket for a gift at their shower ❤ Yours turned out so beautiful ❤
I love all the things you do. And I have made the jeans love the I don't want to say witch ones in case you get in trouble, they are fabulous. Thank for everything. Margaret Redmond from Ireland
I love it, but if I'm right what you were looking for are beveled chatons Potomac beads carries then in different millimeter sizes, but you would need a beading needle,
Stunning... and especially cute in pink. Have you ever tried 6000 glue to attach the beads instead of thread? If it was going to be handwashed or put into a mesh bag and then in the gentle cycle of wash machine, I would think it would hold up. BTW, I really like your hair up, looks so good on you.
I love the jacket and also the vest you made out of the blue jacket. Question for you: have you ever used a large tub to dye your garmets? Our washer has a drawer that you keep filled with detergent and I am not sure how to turn that off. I guess my question is have you done this in a tub and if yes how long do you leave the garment in the water/dye bath to soak? I not, I will just test it out myself. Thanks and now to look at some of your other videos.
I would maybe search for a hot pink color. The cherry red reacts differently on different fabrics. I've had it turn out very hot pink, but some times it has a rosey hue.🤗💕💕💕💕
@@tmyershandmade978 thank you!! In my mind, I would describe that color as almost a fuschia bubblegum pink. And I never fully trust the color swatch on the dye labels. Lol
Wow 🤩 how much would you sell something like this for if you were still selling? I hear Etsy take 30% now, idk how much PayPal fees are but that must bump the price up. I’ve seen your selling video which is fabulous . I was just wondering about something like this particular jacket, it must go for a lot surely, all those hours of work ❤️
Tracy, I just love all your pieces! A trick to hide the white stitching, you can go over it with a Sharpie pen in pink

I, too, love it! I detest elastic , stretch fabric. Glad to learn it does at least take the dye. Love it with the white…🎉🎉🎉

Those of us who are more muscular or have wide shoulders find stretch close to heaven - without it, we couldn’t wear jackets at all.

Nice job. Question... what type of material are your pants. They look super comfortable to make pants, blouse or a dress
I believe they are a cotton blend🤗💕💕💕💕
in your opinion, would the cherry red (used without the lighter pink) give you the kind of hot pink color that "that company" is using?
