Mataidoxia suspend can also be procced by teammates which is insanely nice for QOL. Everyone sees the mark and killing the enemy will do the suspending burst.
little tip for this build….i found using facet of balance and using a light energy primary makes this build more effective as your light kills from any source refund melee energy. Use other fragments to boost dark energy and you will be fine boosting both metres. Also you want to be running a void/strand/stasis super to go along with the artifact perk shield crush which recharges your melee quick when you have the associated buffs aka overshield, woven mail or frost armour.
I've been using an extremely similiar build to this. Instead of Khovostov I've been using osteo striga instead. Mataoidoxia is amazing. people complained you couldn't suspend with prismatic and im like they gave a whole exotic for it. I spent so much time farming exotic class items just to never take mataoidoxia off.
I run this with lightning surge and feed the void i like it because I can use arcane needle to suspend enemies and then run in with surge to finish off everyone and then you have a way to heavily damage bosses
Hey Llama, I dont known if you have tested the fragments but I have. Facet of devotion and the other fragment that generates dark energy from ability kills both give very minimal transcendence energy. From my basic testing it seems like its close to 1% per kill. I think they are completely useless as fragments go.
havent gotten khvostov yet, still working on it. thoughts on outbreak as a temporary replacement? unravel from arcane needle, nanites, we know that combo works fairly well otherwise, ive already been a big fan of mataiodoxia so this has been a great vid thank you

I am a returning player like haven't played destiny since dreaming city. A lot of these build videos is like use this and this and this. I guess you assuming I have the armor for all those lol. I think before I continue looking at builds I just need to play to have inventory.

A Warlock Euphony build could be with the Star-Eater/Apotheosis bond. Launch buffed Needlestorm, get tons of Threadlings, throw Threadling grenade spam from Apotheosis, and fire Euphony at max stacks, then keep going back and forth.

Why is nearly any content creator showing a build in a normal lost sector and nearly always only footage where Prismatic is activated? So annoying and your ability spam only works in lowlevel content.
A few things: First, if you're running an arc energy or heavy weapon, such as indebted kindness, you should run Storm Grenade, instead of Vortex. Having any arc ability or aspect equipped enables Arc Multikills to grant you amplified, which can feed into galvanic armour for a nice 30% passive dr this season. Second, another great fragment for this build can be facet of dominance over facet of hope if you don't feel like you need the faster class regen. Dominance enables your Storm grenade to Jolt, but far more importantly it enables your freezing singularity to weaken on impact and final detonation. With a build that has *this* much transcendence uptime and is built for ability spam, this will essentially always be up and will make your damage even higher on chunkier targets
facet of hope is currently bugged in a sense that if the first buff you gain is amplified you wont gain any class ability energy regen, it has to be any other buff first then its fine to gain amplified doesn't really changed much of the build but you do have to potentially spend another charge of arcane needle first to confirm getting devour before amplified

5:20 "if you have an ability, use it" If you pretend like you don't have 3 charges of needle and only use your "top" charge, you'll be throwing more needles in sum. The final one charges faster. Transcendence refueling charges fully throws some chaos into this, but the principle is sound.
What do you mean by another buff. I tested Facet of Hope today on warlock with devour and i saw significant differences in time. From 38 to 28 seconds at 8 recovery and 62.5 to 38 seconds on 2 recovery

Another great build. But no matter what I run, I go back to my double buddy build. Getaway artists and you have an arc soul and with hellion your fire soul. You don’t even need to bring a gun into the fight. And with the right equipment set up, you get your energies back in under 10 seconds.
Ya I made an aggressive warlocks build in still using it for witness dps, the entire raid, GMs. Osmy star eater bond just always moving and attacking. Did 3m dps per phase on witness with it. For anyone wondering, you can throw nova bomb at witness and it will track to his head and do good damage especially with star eater bond. The nova won’t block your teammates shots
Since everyone has to put their 2 sence in, ill just say that this bulld is phenomenal and i will ne trying it out. A little tweak here and there isnt a big deal. Fantastic!
Personally I don't run Facet of Purpose and instead just use a 1 energy health on orb pickup mod, imo it does the job well enough to save that 1 fragment slot and use it on Facet of Dominance which is amazing.

It's, not, I do have tier 10str, but killing suspended enemies returns melee partially, and I thin I have tier 5, maybe 6 discipline, I basically have grenade always up because of devour and firesprites, that's why id go for str, but you can also melle spam with monte carlo.
Hey Llama, what do you recommend for armor farming this season, most of my 3x100 builds are for Resilience, Recovery and Discipline. Need to grind melee armor now that prismatic opened some melee build options for warlock.
Right now I'm not sure but farming either Master Avarokk or Master Caiatl is always a good method of getting good Artifice armor whenever they roll around
I really reccomend just focusing seasonal armor. The amount of armor you can get outpaces the artifice slot bonus imo. You can get tons of 67+ stat armor pieces by just focusing at the seasonal vendor

It's the only way to actually make the icons look high quality, by default the resolution isn't high enough and I quite like having high quality assets.
And this is why Transcendence will 100% be reigned in by next season. There is no way Bungie lets us have Transcendent as often as we are currently able to with how strong it is when used with a half way decent set up. I forsee about a 20 to 25% reduction to all Transcendent energy generation along with ramping diminishing returns for generating energy while Transcendent. They will probably also create some kind of DR if you rapidly generate energy using kenetic tremors or Kavostov.
This build made me switch from hunter main (wich I have been for years) to warlock. This space wizard feeling in both pve and pvp ia just to fun. The prismatic hunter was a swing and a miss from bungie. Dodge - punch - block - punch loop get’s booring after a few hours…
I've acquired 3 of that exotic chest piece. Discipline then Resilience focused. 16 mobility > scrap. 18 mobility > scrap. 22 fucking mobility. Scrap. All in that insulting order. Bungo does not want me to have fun. Can I borrow 60K glimmer?
the call/lost signal is so good for damage/building darkness respectively, that i wouldn’t use kstov. this season in pve you want your exotic weapon to be something with an element.
Still don't know what is darkness vs light abilities, subclasses, damage? I thought darkness are the newer straind and stasis, where everything else is light. I wish they would simplify this.
You said you get transcendence back in like 7 ricochets but it’s more like 20+. Also, switching from matadoxia to Swarmers got me better results in nightfalls

I'm playing the exact same build but on lower content i use Monte Carlo. I don't have my transcendance as fast but i have a needle every fucking second. And i can use the big strand explosion so much more. But for harder content, where you'll need transcendance for not just having fun with it, Kovostov is better and a better weapon by itself.
I actually have this build and was using it in a similar way...same loadout and everything lol, not the sword I was using pro memoria like you said in the video though lol feels really good to play I pretty much been running it since I got khovostov

Your prismatic grenade already has a suppress, you don't need the weaken fragment for that effect, it's only buffing your normal vortex grenade.

FYI, Facet of Hope is bugged currently, anytime you pick up another buff after it procs, it will cancel out. Not worth running at the moment.

I think the interaction is specifically bugged with amplified. If you get amplified first it gets really buggy
