After playing Division 2 daily since launch (and before that, Division 1 since launch) I quit D2 a few months ago when they announce that big nerf wave. They are running the game into the ground, to the point where I think the series as a whole may take a dirt nap.
Whats even sadder is everyone who didnt play 1 loves 2. if you played with no armor and pure skill cuz everyone had either regenable health with green ult or you had the yellow to burst dps with any gun. if you had nomad it was perfect for farmers in the dz and the dz being one whole its perfect because everyone gets there own space but they should have made it a giant underground dz system that connects all the dzs and have 10-20 landmarks.

And since you brought it up in the video, Shadows is gonna be the nail in the coffin. I just hope whomever ends up with the Division IP is committed to the IP and not just turning it into a cash grab then dump in into the waste heap.

After 6 years i uninstalled Div2 on Monday. I might reinstall with the DLC, depending on how good it is. I picked up Warframe in December and I'm really enjoying it, to see the amount of content that game has, is free to play and the dev and community support is amazing. Before WONY The PVP felt like it was easy to learn, but hard to master. Now it feels like it’s hard to learn impossible to master. I’ve spent years just trying to get a loadout to work in the dark zone, and every time I feel like I’m making progress and getting close to some thing, they’ll change the game and I’ll have to start from scratch again. i’ll be real with you, I think WONY was where it all went downhill.

I will be straightforward with the division community and those complaining about yet another delay: go play something else. I have been a loyal Division Agent since the first game and have invested around 8,000 hours combined on both platforms. However, I also enjoy other games. Each time a delay happens, the community reacts like a petulant teenager, throwing a fit and having a public outburst. So what if there’s a delay? It’s just a game. I don’t know why people don’t realize that Ubisoft is absolutely trash and never keeps their word.. everything they announced winds up being disappointing sooner than later. How can you run a business that always under performs substantially?
Your crazy if you thank theres going to be a dlc or d3 under Ubisoft. They have been having a going out of business sell for while. It's called bundles...exactly what I would do.
It is done and over with and they only have themselves to blame!!! They didn’t care about the community and they damn sure didn’t listen to us! It was one bad decision after the next and putting Division 2 on the back burner was the absolute worst thing they could have ever done!

this and siege are the only games i give excuses for because the core game is great. but it is gross that they treat their fans so bad, we are willing to support you but instead they act petty and do anything like they are going off of 'opposite day'. sad
If D2 even gets a DLC what makes you think it won't suck a$$ anyway? I ain't falling these false hopes from them. Show me a trailer/game play of the DLC, if you want someone to buy something you have to advertise it.
I stopped playing after the beginning of year 6 when I saw that there was absolutely nothing new. It's a shame but I hold on to the fond memories of my time in DC. I hope Division 3 somehow survives this whole Ubisoft debacle.
I was positive, I supported the game, I spent more than what a AAA game is worth on cosmetics, I never said anything hateful, let's be honest, it's over, Ubisoft doesn't realize that there are more players currently in Division than in all the bad games they've released in recent years. They're just keeping it alive so they can negotiate a better sale price with Tencent.
I'll put it like this, the division 2 has been out for quite some time and i picked it up to play it this past few months. I love the game, but i have always hated ubisoft due to their attitude towards their games and customers. I'll continue to play the division 2 until the servers completely die out, then i'll go back to my three most played games until something else catches my eye. But will i spend more money on the division 2? Absolutely not. So in the end, i still got 3 reliable games to play, warthunder, warframe and black desert online.
I knew years ago UBI didn't care about The Division, they should have stopped trying to make so many new garbage IP's and made new DLC's every year. The Division would have saved them but nope play stupid games win stupid prizes.
This game is done period. And its not like its a big surprise. This game has been mismanaged since day one with incompetence. Its time to just let this game die and move on to something else instead of waking up everyday hoping something is gonna change. Its not.
Too long to have any content? how about too long for a sequel. Division 3 should have dropped years ago and we should be bitching about the DLC not coming out for Div 3. This is insane.
Been a die hard player for all the assassin's creed games and big division player and what I've seen these last few months has been heart breaking none the less. I'm in agreement with both you and bantio and it sadness me to say these will now be sitting on my shelf collecting dust. I will finish out the last scout mission as I watch the casket being lower to the ground. Thank you for saying what the community already knows just hard to say thank you.
As a PVP player We started losing players in DZ when status took over, saint elmos, iron lung, foam, and now the pesti on top of it. Nobody wanna waste slots on haz pro or rock sharpshooter for status med kits. Nobody back there is worried about politics frfr. Its all the cheese thats acceptable now is wild. Cant fight a server with 2 players anymore. All the status takes the skill out. If you a shooter you getting lit with fire. Oh you can strafe? Foam him so he cant move. 😂. Status bots.
This game should have died a long time ago. The community kept it alive but without the support of the devs. The funny thing is, the community might be the reason, there isn't a Div3 already.
Last time we had something delayed indefinitely we never got it. Ubisoft has been fucking over Massive for a long time... and Division has been the only thing keeping Ubisoft afloat..
Bro I left and uninstalled the fucking game. Got the game back when it was free on ps plus back in 2023 and now they’re like oh no now it’s not free and gotta pay another 40$ just to play the game. Even though I’ve purchased the dlc and other shit. 585h of played time and 91% achievements down the drain.
My friend you hit the nail on the head!! Excellent video ID!!!! It’s sums it up perfectly.. how much money did they waste on heartland???about 20-30 million??? Yet it went right in the garbage can after everyone who played it said it was good to go and all they had to do was release it!!! What they should do is turn it around and make it into a DLC for Division 2 to where we can take our main character and play it instead of like decent.. I’m with you though and thoroughly fed up with these clowns!!
Ubisoft is probably in the roughest spot they've seen in the past three years. They closed down at least three different work sites this past month (over 185 employees sent home). To say they are struggling and have to be laser focused on getting one win at a time right now would be an understatement. There's a good chance (and fear by some of us) that the next version of The Division will come out in China well before it comes out to the rest of the world. Feel how you want about what Massive is putting out right now, but these are facts.
Excellent video, you said everything I would like to say to those incompetent devs. Amazing how you expressed everything I, as a player, am feeling right now about what they're doing negatively to the game.
March 20th. I wonder how they feel about August 6th, 1945 A bigger date to be upset about then a historically inaccurate fkin game. Sounds like selective outrage to me
1:11 I'm sure they didn't lookup the date if anything happened on that day.. also there are hundreds of bad days if you are counting terrorist attacks / disasters etc... So it doesn't make much sense to scrap off all of those days from your business agenda.
4:30 Oh, it makes perfect sense. They're firing people that are too expensive, experienced and know their worth and hiring rookies to the industry that are cheaper, more impressionable and desperate for work. That's why half of the devs for Shadows have it as their first game and haven't made anything before.
Your saying indefinitely and KamikazeeVonDoom, needs to touch grass, says it’s delayed to year 7. The game isn’t that good to begin with, destiny 2 seems to keep pumping out new content and these devs can’t come thru for the smallest thing. Ubisoft sucks
I don’t take assassin. Creed shadow is expensive as you think it is. A bunch of plagiarized or based off of Tsushima. With worse graphics then you copy paste all of your foliage and landscape.
Bro, i said the same thing earlier in a post i made. Its like the company got their business degree from a cereal box. You should WANT to invest your time, money and resources into an area that WILL bring a return. Instead they used those resources for what? Xdefiant, Star Wars and Avatar. Each one of those crashed and burned and i called it long before they came out. They should of used those resources on Div 2 going into Div 3. They should of sat down and actually looked at what made Div 1 good, what made Div 2 good, take those ideas and use for Div 3. But AC will flop come march and they they will see what happens when you ignore the player base.
Let's not forgot the dumpster fire AAAA Skull & Bones. Why they have a franchise that COULD thrive but they'd rather kill it is just so fkn frustrating.
@hook. The bottom line seems to be is they didn’t give a rats ass or even listen to their player base and now they’re suffering the consequences of this action
Even non executives and non investors could clearly see quick actions that could at least give Ubisoft some breath, but it looks like there's something else behind the curtains. The Division's DLC would bring in some quick cash, while they excuse themselves and really do something reasonable with Shadows. Other than that, selling their shares to Tencent would not be the end of the world at this point. Ubisoft is going down the drain and they simply won't let hold of it. I don't know man, I'm sad and tired of it all, that's for sure.
there isnt a game like the division out there, the first one doesnt even hold a candle to how great the second game is. this is an insult to fans, but i agree when you say it should be the face of ubisoft now. siege and the divion have an insane amount of potential but ubisoft keeps pulling terrible moves to punish us or something
"The beginning of the end"As a long-time fan of Ubisoft, I have always appreciated the creativity, innovation, and immersive experiences your games like Division have provided. However, It feels as though the focus has shifted from delivering high-quality, engaging games to prioritizing monetization strategies with very poor success I understand that profitability is important for any business, but I believe that maintaining the quality, integrity and loyal players of their games should be the top priority. Loyal fans like myself are drawn to Ubisoft because of the unique and captivating experiences your games offer. When the focus shifts too heavily towards in-game purchases and other monetization tactics, it detracts from the overall gaming experience.
SW Outlaws just wrapped and the devs just came back from Sweden’s long winter holiday to start Div 3 pre-production probably last week, they won’t have anything to show for years. Probably haven’t even decided on a city to set the game in yet. Kinda doubt Ubisoft will last long enough for them to even make a Div 3 logo.
I’ve loved The Division franchise and played thousands of hours in these games. This being said I don’t think we will ever see this dlc. AC Shadows will flop. Even if it sells 10 million copies it won’t dig Ubi out of the hole it’s in. After AC Shadows flops the company will go bankrupt or be bought out. At any rate Ubisoft will no longer be a functioning company.
honestly even if Div2 dies theres a chance ubi will sell its IPs which gives me hope someone will get the Tom Clancy rights and make a banger new Div game. But if Div2 keeps on living thats great because its still a cool af game
I honestly feel more bad for the agents who have been playing this game since it dropped. Im only 18 months deep and even this is the end of the road for me, rather go back and replay other games or give newer games a try. D2 was fun while it lasted, sad that it went out like this and not on a high note like it deserved.
Why feel sorry for us? I have gotten thousands upon thousands of hours of fun and memories from D1 and D2 over the years … all games except for Warcraft come to an end … this game will end eventually … we may see a D3 or not … it would be a wasted opportunity for some studio since I’m confident Ubisoft is going to collapse and be sold … if D2 folds, I’ll move on and enjoy other games … just like Destiny folks are doing right now … it’s a game not a cancer diagnosis … I’ve gotten my moneys worth over the last near decade …
@ because of all the empty promises and waiting for something that never happened, I agree with you I have also had a lot of fun with the game, however I haven’t been playing long and friends Ive made on this game are all disappointed and feel let down by these news.
People should relax a bit, yes, AC is bad and it probably going to suck. Delaying the DLC might be a goog thing to double check on things and improve quality.. maybe.. hopefully.
I love the division 1/2 I'm SHD level 4k+ on all consoles i been putting in the work but I'm done with this, delay and delays and heartland being canceled I'm just over it, i moved on and i been playing POE2 and its been a good experience and it just sucks that the division is going this route.

I feel like Ubisoft is punishing the Division 2 community for the lack of interest of the new AC shadow game , it’s like if AC shadow don’t sell then we’ll delay or cancel the other games you like .
Nah, it's all about the money here. They can care less about how we feel at all about the game, it's just profits. It just doesn't make sense to put any more effort or money into an already dying player base like division 2.
I dont care about the Devs but I do care about the Division franchise. Its truly saddening to see my favorite game die. It feels like im standing next to a hospital bed holding an old friend's hand as they shut their eyes for the last time.
Tom Clancy's ghost recon and the division is the only tiles from Ubisoft tha I will buy but not at release date I'll wait for an honest review. Ubisoft is dead to me
i've only recently (almost 2 month) took the division 2 so i have quite alot to do, i don't actively play it alot cuz am switching between multiple game but it's likely am gonna play it more actively soon, and with ubisoft going to shit ( unless they WAKE the fuck up and stop releasing turd) then it's likely the division and all the ubisoft franchise will sink ( i doubt tencent will save them cuz we can see AC shadow failing from a MILES away )
I left COD because of modern warfare 3 and definitely black ops 6. Now I am done with division, triple A gaming is in shambles. Talented developers are leaving creating new studios where they don't have to deal with all the dei bullshit and just make great games. Ubisoft is done they will not be the same company they are now by the end of the year.. either buyout or bankrupt. Neither is good..
*Are you done or Nah?*
At this stage I am done, might come back for the dlc but they need to do a lot. Doubt Ubisoft will be around much longer.

Nerfing the Ouroboros was my leaving point.
March 20th. I wonder how they feel about
August 6th, 1945
A bigger date to be upset about then a historically inaccurate fkin game. Sounds like selective outrage to me
1:11 I'm sure they didn't lookup the date if anything happened on that day.. also there are hundreds of bad days if you are counting terrorist attacks / disasters etc... So it doesn't make much sense to scrap off all of those days from your business agenda.
Facts people to dam sensitive
4:30 Oh, it makes perfect sense. They're firing people that are too expensive, experienced and know their worth and hiring rookies to the industry that are cheaper, more impressionable and desperate for work. That's why half of the devs for Shadows have it as their first game and haven't made anything before.
they need to bring back apparel events!
The expertise messed up the whole game when they did that, that was some dumb.💩💩👀
Your damn right brother. i play this game from the begining, and this is messed up really. Greetings from the Netherlands
lol they never said it was canceled they said it was delayed not the same thing
Your saying indefinitely and KamikazeeVonDoom, needs to touch grass, says it’s delayed to year 7. The game isn’t that good to begin with, destiny 2 seems to keep pumping out new content and these devs can’t come thru for the smallest thing. Ubisoft sucks
March 20th, the day Ubisoft dies...
RIP
i just deleted this off my system when i found out im done
@@EtonieE25 Yup, exactly. They gonna learn today lol
@@Hook_em1108 👍
Even non executives and non investors could clearly see quick actions that could at least give Ubisoft some breath, but it looks like there's something else behind the curtains.
The Division's DLC would bring in some quick cash, while they excuse themselves and really do something reasonable with Shadows.
Other than that, selling their shares to Tencent would not be the end of the world at this point. Ubisoft is going down the drain and they simply won't let hold of it.
I don't know man, I'm sad and tired of it all, that's for sure.
I was looking forward to running around Brooklyn with a couple new runs, legendaries, control points etc.
there isnt a game like the division out there, the first one doesnt even hold a candle to how great the second game is. this is an insult to fans, but i agree when you say it should be the face of ubisoft now. siege and the divion have an insane amount of potential but ubisoft keeps pulling terrible moves to punish us or something
"The beginning of the end"As a long-time fan of Ubisoft, I have always appreciated the creativity, innovation, and immersive experiences your games like Division have provided. However, It feels as though the focus has shifted from delivering high-quality, engaging games to prioritizing monetization strategies with very poor success
I understand that profitability is important for any business, but I believe that maintaining the quality, integrity and loyal players of their games should be the top priority.
Kinda doubt Ubisoft will last long enough for them to even make a Div 3 logo.
yeah Div 3 at this point is just a myth, they wont survive long enough to make and release a 3rd division!
Not only i'm done with Division 2, i'm done with entire franchise and Ubisoft.
Company is run by clowns.
90% of the time I play pvp in dz. Pve player's have been getting screwed over so many times i lost count. I don't blame yall for leaving
honestly even if Div2 dies theres a chance ubi will sell its IPs which gives me hope someone will get the Tom Clancy rights and make a banger new Div game. But if Div2 keeps on living thats great because its still a cool af game
I ended my gaming with the cowboy water gun
I mean WTF was that STUPID feckin weapon about???…. and how old r we 8!!! They don’t even know the average age of their player base!
It’s tough man but you can’t take the negative comments personally. LOVE your content!!!! I love building non-meta stuff like you do!
i left the game so long ago. I loved playing and wanted to beat the game, but i had other games to play.
new update ac shadows got delayed again, today
It's coming down like house of cards, no foundation left
People should relax a bit, yes, AC is bad and it probably going to suck. Delaying the DLC might be a goog thing to double check on things and improve quality.. maybe.. hopefully.
I love the division 1/2 I'm SHD level 4k+ on all consoles i been putting in the work but I'm done with this, delay and delays and heartland being canceled I'm just over it, i moved on and i been playing POE2 and its been a good experience and it just sucks that the division is going this route.
Awww bless, 4K is a month's work without even being sweaty.
@@djjestermark a month work for someone who probably lives in his parents basement, why do bitches like you always have some bullshit to say, lame ass dudes man
Nothing is happening div 2 just got shot in the face with that announcement Brooklyn is never coming and div 3 is just flat out not gonna happen there’s no point in holding out and to add insult to injury they drop this announcement on us and if u turn on the game they just put up another bundle to buy so basically “F U and give us money” no doubt what’s the point of playing this build up with the current story just for no pay off I’m good yo
That was the last straw! We out. Path of Exile 2 Im coming home.
I feel like Ubisoft is punishing the Division 2 community for the lack of interest of the new AC shadow game , it’s like if AC shadow don’t sell then we’ll delay or cancel the other games you like .
Yes, they have a history of being arrogant like this.
Nah, it's all about the money here. They can care less about how we feel at all about the game, it's just profits. It just doesn't make sense to put any more effort or money into an already dying player base like division 2.
@@nawlsone586this.
@@kozmikxWell their arrogance and the LOVE of money will be their downfall!
I dont care about the Devs but I do care about the Division franchise. Its truly saddening to see my favorite game die. It feels like im standing next to a hospital bed holding an old friend's hand as they shut their eyes for the last time.
Bit of an exaggeration when you actually watch someone die. But I get your point..😂
The Devs wont care much since they already made so much money out from us consumers. Thats like a huge middle finger if you read in between the lines!
I wanted to start playing Division 2, is it not worth it?
Socom 1+2, bf 2-4 , div 1+2 damm i guess its time to move on again
I left COD because of modern warfare 3 and definitely black ops 6. Now I am done with division, triple A gaming is in shambles. Talented developers are leaving creating new studios where they don't have to deal with all the dei bullshit and just make great games. Ubisoft is done they will not be the same company they are now by the end of the year.. either buyout or bankrupt. Neither is good..
Don't forget they also made a splinter cell series definitely shows it's desperation to get money
Damn ubisoft is going down fast af boi
After all the D2 hiccups I still managed to enjoy the game. Always coming back after a little break. D2is a drug I can't stop 🥴😳
Maybe if a lot of people leave, i will be able to farm the dz for pestilence.
Show content to just say it's not happening AGAIN? No thanks ubisoft sucks but they should've never let diehard content creators rule them around.
