A consistency I seem to observe in Our community is a great sense of competitor or admiration of work(s) within great compassion or heart for the next individual. This second part is the unique part that isn't in most other fields I have come in close proximity to..so I want to thank you for taking the time to do something that you probably felt was mandatory, as I would, and pay your respects to Your Friend, and Mentor, I love making hand Maria's, and have a hard time keeping from them every piece!
I have an ignorant question if ever there was one, and that is, would you be able to guide me toward a lathe exact in size, not in make per say, but can be, just the general size is what i desire, and simply let me know if this is a buildable option like CUBE lathe? I am currently trying to take two taffyTurners (gen 2 & 3) and lookin for a motor source to replicate the glass lathe..already feeling this concept to be a failure before spun..lol..just always loved the symmetry of lathe Glassworks & really want to get there if its financially doable in the near future.
Again, I am sorry for your loss. You did right by them on this video. Good Man.

Thanks Aslan. Glass lathes are not easy to come by. You can see if there are any scientific glassblowers near you who can point you in the right direction. I see a lot of people getting Seam lathes. They are available and affordable but I haven't used one so I don't know how the quality is. Here is their link: www.seamglassblowinglathes.com/

So how is the gost in the back drop off the video 😂

  • @chrisdouglasakadarkwatergl7327

Try doing them by hand it isn't very hard to do, using a lathe is cheating.
