The metaverse is being built on blockchain by companies like Enjin as well. Solana and other blockchains also have the beginnings of a metaverse as far as marketplaces go. Thanks for the reply, Nathaniel. Decentraland, Sandbox, and Vircadia are open-source to some extent. However, it would be a long and tough road ahead for a small company with a barebones staff and budget to build a decentralized metaverse that can appeal to the mainstream public. It would seem that much larger companies like Epic Games would need adequate financial incentives to accelerate efforts in this area. Perhaps, Unreal Engine, Metahumans, and upcoming products will have features added over time so that a casual person could reasonably have an enjoyable and beneficial experience in a more utilizable version of a metaverse than some available offerings today. Microsoft is also embracing the use of open source technology in general, so perhaps that company will see a reason to get more involved at a later time.

What I’m really hoping is that all the learnings from these large companies and their implementations of the metaverse translates into open standards that enable interoperability. Really great. I am up to learn it. How about eyes + brain radiation? Hopefully, Metaverse will have Meta Health Check of the gadget capacity, gadget performance and individuals health. Like personal health metrics settings similar to the concept of phone data usage. So, first aid kit +daily prevention should be available as alerts as well as Meta Hospital. lol Or, add the smart watch features such as its health settings, customized health check, and clinic/hospital appointment. Sorry got carried away. lol When Metaverse reach its maturity, lots will have symptoms of eye or brain cancer. Those gadgets sure produces heat that will directly absorbed by the eyes + brain. Can’t even get basic mobile games to run smoothly online and these companies are pitching a “4D metaverse”🤔 Humanity has a real future, it could be out exploring space, instead people want reality to be having their head buried in a vr system that will short out with a sufficiently large solar storm, pretty sad...

Metaverse McDonald's, Wal-Mart, etc, etc..
Now Sword Art online will become a reality but we would too old to play that 😔😔.
The net is vast and infinite.
Yeah Hope the Lord calls me home soon.
So this would sound more promising if all these companies come forward with a shared vision and work towards making a collaborative metaverse rather working on their own ecosystems. This would fail.
In few decades you'll all agree with my name...
Really great. I am up to learn it. How about eyes + brain radiation? Hopefully, Metaverse will have Meta Health Check of the gadget capacity, gadget performance and individuals health.
Like personal health metrics settings similar to the concept of phone data usage.
So, first aid kit +daily prevention should be available as alerts as well as Meta Hospital. lol
Or, add the smart watch features such as its health settings, customized health check, and clinic/hospital appointment. Sorry got carried away. lol
When Metaverse reach its maturity, lots will have symptoms of eye or brain cancer.
Those gadgets sure produces heat that will directly absorbed by the eyes + brain.
I'm an IT and also health conscious.
3:05 Roblox is not developed by Epic Games. Not at least from what I can find online. If someone can find me a source for this then I would appreciate it
Roblox is run/owned by Roblox Corporation (CEO David Baszucki) and NOT Epic Games
What happens if there’s a power outage? I’m assuming high bandwidth internet required to run this will be low cost/free and available every where, without interruption? Can’t even get basic mobile games to run smoothly online and these companies are pitching a “4D metaverse”🤔 Humanity has a real future, it could be out exploring space, instead people want reality to be having their head buried in a vr system that will short out with a sufficiently large solar storm, pretty sad...
2025- MEtaverse is live! Ppl asleep love it!
2025 + 3days - NPC within metaverse shows human response
2025 + 10days - "Hello Skynet"
Those virtual environments will destroy our environment. They require finite resources. So much for preserving the planet. Or can they just come from thin air?
Metaverse....do people really want this? Do people really think this will a positive contribution to humanity? Can’t wait to see all the nut cases this produces. Suckerburg, Metaverse “World Champion”
Good stuff
I appreciate it, AK 47!
I just want to say, roblox is not made or owned by Epic Games. Fortnite is though. :)
Thanks
Will this be the end of humanity or the beginning ?
I think it's just a continuation. Virtual reality and augmented devices will very gradually become as common as smartphones over the next 8 to 15 years.
@@FutureBusinessTech billions of dollars in creating something that isn’t even real isn’t right. People should’ve used that money to help the planet like regrown forest 🌳, help the poor make healthier foods for the homeless. We don’t the cyberspace metaverse we need to face reality and make good on it.
For what reason? Don’t you know that they will create artificial plants in the future?
@@blackthovenproductions4561 imagine how sooner those results could’ve been if they use that kind of money on those projects. Cleaner water, better environments, etc. but no they waste that money on fake digital bullshit.
Please don't make the avatars too cartoony or half bodies.
You’re completely factually wrong about RoBlox… I’m not sure how you did that.. you even commented on the stock… you realize if they were owned by Epic Games they wouldn’t have their own stock, right?
Hey, it happens to the best of us.
@@donseesyourshaydim7529 well I own a business and also make UA-cam videos. I don’t miss those facts
That's why Facebook name change to meta
Metaverse is already created in GTA online.
One Mistake: Roblox isnt owned by Epic Games. Its owned by its own company called Roblox Corporation
Most people think... investing in crypto is all about buying coin and leaving it to rise,😀😀common it takes much analysis to be a successful crypto trader
Tech use bby
Yeahh sure, complete agree with hoy...Is so intrincate as the Metanything itself"
What about Decentraland ?
I targeted companies that were most likely to appeal to mainstream audiences.
@@FutureBusinessTech I think the way to go is to show the full spectrum +I think as decentraland is if not the first (to my knowledge the at least )to experiment as a metaversed "platform" "game" "2life" "experience" it should get credited and shown for to get known to the mainstream
Unity?
The oasis ready players GO!
Did someone say matrix????
The Matrix trilogy was definitely ahead of its time when it comes to the portrayal of certain technologies. Thanks for your reply!
@@FutureBusinessTech The Matrix wasn't ahead of its time, it was late to the game. Virtual Reality stories were already a popular and well established science fiction subgenre when that movie arrived.
Nothing but monitoring and control of your life. Unbelievable video
I provided a counterpoint against monitoring and control within this same video when paraphrasing Epic Game's CEO. What makes you think that I would advocate for something that would negatively impact my life and everyone else's lives I know?
So long story short . These big companies are trying to monopolize again
But what about freeassworld ?
