Stephanie, you are the best beading teacher, in my humble opinion. You make it so easy to understand. Your positiveness, encouragement is electrifying. I always know I can do what you have shown us. Thank you again for this wonderfull gift. May your line never tangle.
I totally agree with Teresa ! I've watched plenty of videos and from my point of view you diffidently explain things so much clearer than a lot of the instructor's. Thank you so very much! You are appreciated.
Who are these people giving a thumbs down and why? This is a great explanation of this stitch, and adding rows can be confusing --- Stephanie, you gave simple and concise instructions. Pooey on them!
I just thought the very same when I saw the seven thumbs down and I think I know why... if I was going to give it a bad rap it would be about not understanding it or thinking that you were going way to fast or could not be heard or understood - and we know that none of that is the case with you, Stephanie. What I think it is are people who are not liking some frivolous thing - like not liking the colours that it has been made up in and that sort of thing. Don't fret, Stephanie, if I have done the maths right that's a bit less than 0.08%!!! 😊
I SO agree with you Susan. EVERY single one of Stephanie's creations are absolutely GORGEOUS. Truly have never seen one I didn't love. Think some people just do it just to do it, but we will pay them absolutely no mind. Right? Really appreciate Stephanie taking so much time to do all these wonderful videos. I have finally been well enough to make several of her creations (the bling bracelet in particular, and am working on another one because my friends all want one because they are so pretty!) Thank you Stephanie!♥♥♥
I can't believe the thumbs downs. I followed this video and made a beautiful bracelet! I have tried doing this stitch before and just didn't get it. After watching your video the first time, I got out my beads and while watching it again and beading, an hour later I was finishing the second side. I realize that everyone has a right to their opinion, but without constructive criticism, I think it's chicken of someone to just click on a button...soooo that's my opinion! Keep them coming! You have been an inspiration to a lot of people who follow you and you have definitely taught me so much! As a leftie, I was even able to learn CRAW from you! (A Major Miracle!) Sincerely, Viki Berry (Birmingham, AL)
I have tried to learn this stitch from written instructions and other videos and it seemed so complicated. Stephanie, you have made this so clear and concise. Thank you very much! I love following your videos. Thank you!
I've thoroughly enjoyed learning this stitch. I've been busy making single strand bracelets, but now I see how to make a multi strander I'm in! TFS with your usual clarity and patience xxx
Never worked with this stitch it looks like a lot of fun. Love the look of the beautiful bracelet. I found you on Pinterest and enjoyed your stunning designs. I can’t tell you enough you are an amazing teacher and thank you so much for doing this for us beginners ❤️
I love the St. Petersburg Chain and made a bracelet following instruction, but bumped into problems attaching another row. Watching your tutorial I believe I can do it following your instructions. Thanks so much!
Hey Stephanie!! Thank you so much for the offer of helping me in my screw up lol. I tried to go to the FB page but there was no where to post on it. The page looked weird on my phone. Not sure what was going on.
Wow love it your tutorial is so clear I have watched others do this stitch and I just got confused but now I’m going to do this thankyou for all your hard work and guidance. Your voice is very soothing and relaxing and the camera is always in sharp focus xx
Really love this pattern, Steph! I love working with 8/0 SB and this is a very entertaining pattern, and not clunky. I have 3 Favs, for bracelets, and you're one of them. Thanks
Amazing I have watched several videos on how to do this stitch and yes...it is easy but hard to follow....until your video! Thanks so much! you are amazing!
Your videos are awesome and so easy to follow! If I want to learn something...your channel is the first place I look!!! Thank you for doing all you do!!! ❤
Hello so I started this bracelet and was 2 rows in when I realized that that center bead is facing hole forward ugh to far in to undo now so I will add 2 mor rows the same way. It still looks okay but am definitely doing another one the right way lol silly me🤔😁 Okay didn't continue, restarted a new bracelet and wow what a difference in doing it right,😁💜💜💜
Thank you so much for your excellent training! I was able to make this bracelet! I'm so proud of myself))) you have golden hands! Спасибо Вам огромное!
Hi Stephanie, I was wondering if you have any tips on how to keep the correct tension. I tend to have too tight tension and my work buckles a little. Any tips would help me so much. Love your videos and your beautiful way of teaching.
Hello 🌻 This stitch is tricky with tension. Try tightening during each step of the stitch by gently pulling after each thread pass. Ex. When you add the accent beads gently tighten the previous beads to take up any slack in the thread. Use both hands - one to hold what is already beaded and the other to add the next group of beads. This will keep your tension more even and less prone to buckling. Hope this helps 😊
Yes that helps a great deal. Thank you for your tip and taking the time to respond ☺ I hope to become a good enough beader to sell my work and your chanel is a godsend. 🌹
I love you channel so much!! It gets me into trouble always buying more beads. Also, I love your color nail polish. Just what I'm looking for but cannot find!!
I like the way you show the steps. Thank you! It made me grab my beads and just tried it. If i want to do a double layer but unfortunately my thread is not long enough to continue, what the best thing i could ? Can I tie up a new thread to the old one?
Hi Stephanie! Wondering if you could use a little bit bigger bead than the 3mm beads pirite (sp?) beads? I am not sure what those are but I do have 4mm beads. Thank you for all your wonderful videos! You are my favorite teacher! :-)
This stitch and your pieces, using it are brilliant. Any shank button will work? Really a 2 hole button will work. Trying desperately to use alternative materials when I don't have exactly what the tutorial calls for. It's becoming more difficult. I just keep seeing away. Thank you for sharing.
Hello Stephanie. Because of your very good direction I made the bracelet with ease. But I ran into a problem. I thought I measured it properly and even after wrapping it around my wrist before adding the buttons I thought it was long enough. I need to add at least 2 more rows before adding the loops. Do I have to take it loose and start again or how can I add rows before adding the loops?
Oh ok. I had already added the buttons. I thought making the loops too long would off set the bracelet. Thanks sooo much. It is beautiful. I wish I knew how to send you a picture. I enjoy watching you and your method of teaching works. Thanks again.
Love this! Going on my must try list. Also wondering if you might have plans to show how to do stripes in the other direction so they end up zig zaging.
I've been wanting to make this for a very long time. Finally sat down this past couple of days and made it. LOVED IT!! And then I go and totally screw up at the last and did the first cup button on the wrong end!! AUGGH!! NOOOO!! Now I am stuck on what to do. So I just set the whole thing off to the side. Sad face.
I havent made anything in a year - this bracelet is an inspiration and I look forward to making it - where did you get the pyrite beads? Please try it on so we can see how it looks....Thank you for another great beading video.
+Sandra Marcoux Hi Sandra😃 I’m so glad you were inspired to start beading again! Yay🌸 Try Etsy for the Pyrite or Amazon. They are 3mm faceted Pyrite Beads.

Thank you Jo 🌻😊🙏 Yes try a 4mm. Maybe use a firepolished bead instead of an 8/0 for your base.
This stitch and your pieces, using it are brilliant.

Hey Stephanie, what size jump ring would I need for a 14mm glass heart pendant?
Depends on your chain. The heart is relatively small so a 6 or 8 mm would do.
Bronzepony Beaded Jewelry , it don't have a chain, there's a hole in the heart pendant, and I was just gonna put a jump ring through it.
+LetMeInlittlePig NotByTheHairOfMyChinyChinChin Fit your jump ring to where the hole is placed. If there is space above the hole then use a larger jump ring. An 8 or 10mm should fit but you could need larger to accommodate the space around the jump ring.
just love it Stéphanie! :o)
