I own Skilhunt H04 RC with 519a and I can agree that for a headlamp it's very nice. Nichia is not very bright but the tint is awesome - comparing to lh351d on my sp40 - 519a is better - lower output but more than enough for a headlamp. Like you said it could be floodier - I don't know if tir could be replaced - didn't search for one. Nice review 👌. I want to add that I had this flashlight with XM-L2 and brightness is 900 lumens very bright but I returned it and changed it to nichia because my eyes were getting tired pretty quickly. Bought it for 55$ without battery from AliExpress (for me pretty expensive, hope it will last long).
I own/owned 3 of them, one died, bought a replacement as late as last November. Good lights for sure but are getting over-priced. Their headbands wear out quickly, stretch too much but replacements are available for cheap. The proprietary charging is not worth it. Olight does it and it is not as portable as USB charging. You have to carry cables that are used by a single device, where all your other devices can charge from the same USB C cable.
I have this headlamp. I was wondering about the lumen levels. They seem a bit low. It is a nice light though. I think the h300 in high cri would be a lot brighter.
This headlamp gets lots of love on reddit but your review steered me away from it. Im looking for a headlamp to work on my sons race bikes and my off road vehicles so the magnetic cap is ideal for me but after dealing with olight proprietary charging port, i am over having anything but USB C plus that slow charge time isnt going to cut it for me. I do have a multi bank charger and could go that route but still. You mentioned if could be more floody which is what I am looking for. I ended up with the wurkkos HD15 but there isnt much date out there on to what LED is inside of it.
Is the battery a weird size or could you replace it with a standard AA battery if needed?. The main thing I don't like rechargeables is the fact that they invariably run out of power right when I need them the most, and you can't just swap the batteries. This would be great if it came with 2 batteries and an external charging system so that you always have the option of having a battery ready to swap
It uses an 18650 which is pretty common in the flashlight and vape world. A AA won't worn, it's much smaller and too low of voltage. The light will run an 2x rcr123 or cr123 primaries too I'd you wanted. You can easily buy another 18650 and external charger for probably about $25 or less to do what you want. In general Amazon is a bad place to buy this kind of battery due to lots of fakes, I recommend illumn or another specialty retailer.
You have the best most detailed videos on flashlights I'm just here to say that it sounds like you're saying silk hunt instead of skilhunt I don't know if I'm hearing wrong or you're saying it wrong. I bought some flashlights from watching your videos. Can my brother talk to you later keep up the good work
This rated with 1200 lumen but with cool white I guess. But just 600 lumens seems to be very low. You cant explain this just because its 4500k. Also the tint look very rosy. I prefer a neutral tint. Maybe the lh351d nw hcri version is better for me.
Sounds like they just took manufacturers numbers and didn't do their own testing. Pretty common with some reviewers on UA-cam who don't want to invest in good equipment
@@LiquidRetro A year later I watched the review again and see my comment. Now I know that Skilhunt has an own homepage. They have a chart with the lumens of the other LEDs. Their rating for the 519A is 30/90/230/330/700 so very close to yours. From that chart I also see that my assumption with the LH351D was right. The output is a bit more than that of the 519A

The H04 RC is also offered with the lh351d in neutral white and HCRI

Добрый день.
Спасибо за обзор.
По Вашему мнению где лучше и качественные ближний свет на sofirn hs20 или этом фонаре из обзора?
I would go by which led you prefer between those two

It's not tint, they just never rerated with the different led.
@@LiquidRetro "its not tint" what? I have seen another review. There the nichia version is rated with 1000 lumen. So 200 lumen less makes more sense.

This or Wizard Nichia?
Pretty similar. I haven't tried a new Wizard in years. I would say go with the ui you like best.
I'll stick with my hd20. To worried about losing more expensive lights
This isn't too bad, around $55
I feel yah, lost many, I want some sort if air tag for android that's not expensive
Pls..It's skill hunt, not silk hunt.
‘Silk Hunt’ has got to be an AliExpress Chinesium women’s underwear brand

“Silk Hunt” was very distracting. Good review otherwise.
