What a surprise by Acebeam! I did not expect them to release a 21700 quad emitter EDC torch this year. The Nichia 519A emitters, the driver, and the overall build quality are what make it one of the best of 2023.
I appreciate you comparing this to the Intl-Outdoor D4v2! I love my D4v2 but wanted something for my car that would USB-C charge, and this seems to come in there nicely! I won't keep it fully charged so the battery lives on, but it is awesome to know I can replace the battery with any 21700 rechargeable. Thanks!
I have some neutral white lights and some bright white lights.... That comparison with the Olight and the acebeam was eye opening (lol). The Olight might not be as pretty but it shows a lot more.
Thank you for the nice review! Nichia LED usually make beautiful beams regardless of the manufacturer that use them. Acebeam also seems to put some effort into the design. But this ... The nurling is not in harmony (look at the tailcap and the rest) The enormous big branding on the body... Someone really needs glasses 🕶️😂
Would it be possible to remove the magnet? I might be interested but I’m always carrying my flashlight in my bag that also carries my laptop and tablet.
Thanks for your reply! I’m running a modern laptop with ssd so it shouldn’t be an issue. But I’d like to be rather safe than sorry. I’ve ordered the black Nichia version and will check if I can still remove the magnet!
@@maxmullert Strong magnets can still mess up or at least confuse electronics, so removing the magnet is a good idea in your case. The magnet on E75 is pretty strong too, but fortunately it should be easy to remove. I haven't removed the magnet on mine, but it looks like it's relatively easy to do if you want.
It is, I talk a bit about that in the conclusion if you stuck around. That ui is enthusiast only though and no onboard recharging. The price isn't that far off with a battery too.
onboard charging is a negative for me and anduril is a positive but I'm guessing the environmental resistance of this acebeam is better than emisar/noctigon@@LiquidRetro

Great review! I'll be picking one of these up. Thank you.

Hi, just wondering how it compares with the E70? ✌️
I have a review video on that separately. I prefer the E75 but both are good
Would you recomend this over a nitecore ek4?
I don't think I have tried that Nitecore but I'm betting I would prefer the Acebeam due to the led tint.
Can you please review the fenix tk20r ue

Usually it is. It would only be a problem for your laptop if it still had a spinning hard drive. Most have moved to SSD now

So basically, it's like a Convoy S21D with better build quality and regulation, many fewer emitter options, and a much higher price.
essentially. You're paying for the certifications for water proofing, electrical (UL), etc.
@@BurntPlaydoh I do? I listed two advantages and two disadvantages compared to a similar light.
Put tail cap on bezel, if it sticks, then stainless steel !
Most grades of stainless that are non magnetic. :(
What exact LED's is this using?
Mine has a Nichia 519a, well four to be exact.
How about the D4K?
What about it?
@@LiquidRetro I think for the money the D4K also is much more customizable.

D4K with a boost driver has a brighter moonlight with a short flash just before entering moonlight?

Does it charge with usb-c to usb-c cable?
Yes
Olight fan boys have entered the chat😂
😂
And left the chat....I prefer the Olight Seeker series
Dude, has anyone ever told you that you sound just like John Wilson???
Who's that?
Seems overly large compared to other 21700 lights like ts21 ts25 etc.
The TS21 overheats really quickly. Maybe the design of the TS21 should've been larger so it didn't get so toasty in the hand.
@@nicodimus2222 yeah at higher levels. Mid levels which most run at are fine. 100 bucks for this. Hard pass
@@truthhurts2149 E75 is king in maintaining 900 Lumen over long time. No smaller 21700 light can do this, with Flood and HighCRI.
You obviously have not seen the Olight Seeker 3 Pro🤭
Proprietary batteries and charger and non high CRI, Ya I'm aware of it.
Ew
Would never buy that one...
Dude. The guy placed a Seeker 3 pro right next to it and compared them directly in beam shots...
its not better than the seeker 4 pro
