  • South Africa has been famously referred to as the rainbow nation because it is made up of so many diverse cultures and religions and they all contribute to forming a part of the country's heritage, identity and culture.
    Heritage is broken up into two types: natural and cultural, with natural heritage being its environment and natural resources and cultural heritage being the sense of identity of a particular population or community of people.
    September is heritage month, and this morning the focus is on spirituality and African spirituality as an extension of our heritage.
