Ruslan B I couldn’t get the main cap off the tank and then remembered the manual said to take the fuel cap off to release the pressure, makes sense lol!
@@johondarr2530 funny. I was sure that there are always a positive pressure ... but looks like you have got negative pressure case. It varies based on temperature and amount of gas. That is why we do have off/on/res valve : to lock tank by off position and prevent gas pushing out of tank.
Did you have to replace the washers? We have 2 of the same waverunners and they haven’t been ridden in about 10 years and some pieces are falling apart.
Yea ... a lot of trash from plastic falling apart were in my tank. Put fine filter before the carb and after the standard filer to catch the trash. I did not replace anything because my fuel gage does not work.
Hello I was wondering if you can tell me what’s the 2 units u pulled out of the gas tank and how they work pls.. I’m not able to get gas to the fuel filter , I’m not able to start either , does those two units have anything to do with the issue? First time with a 1995 ski Thanks for your help
1) find your jetski here: www.yamahapartshouse.com/oemparts/c/yamaha_personal_watercraft/parts then go to "Fuel Tank" and check the parts names. 2) one hole was for fuel gauge (it is shown on main picture) 3) another hole is for pipes/fuel line. There are two of them a) main (shorter. it cannot suck in the last 3 gallons) b)reserve (it is longer and can utilize the last 3 gallons)
I'm currently working on one of these getting it ready to ride again after 10 years of sitting. I want to add a garden hose hookup to the motor, I've found which parts to buy but not much on where they hook up on the engine. I see in your video that yours has the adapter installed, would you be able to tell me where it installs? Thanks in advance!
check where is my "hook up" ua-cam.com/video/2Ollx9lJ42I/v-deo.html ... maybe it will work for you ... but i would try connect to the hose under seat which is going from impeller to engine.
Thank you for taking time out of your night to record this video and edit it for us to watch.
you welcome. nights is the only cool enough time of a day to work hard outside in FL

I am doing the same! Which one did you restore? Did you ever get it running?
93 wave runner fuel pump were is it at
there is no fuel pump. engine piston suction work as a pump.
