My new vintage pointer date watch

Hi everyone, some time ago I happened to see this watch for sale on Ebay, and even though the watch was broken the price seemed good and so I decided to buy it. Once it arrived and opened the case back I immediately discovered where the problem was, the balance staff was broken. After a long search I managed to find the complete balance wheel avoiding having to replace only the staff. After a complete service the watch started working again.
I am a lover of vintage watches and this Medana rightfully enters my collection!!!

Thank you for sharing this excellent video on a nice watch. Having become such a grumpy old man, whenever I see a pin-pallet movement, I immediately think of modern-day Panerai watches: very cheaply made and not decorated at all. However, I would prefer your vintage watch over any modern Panerai any day ... 😊 P.S. I usually pester watch restorers when their lume is too brightly green (coffee helps), but on this watch it looks OK.

The green lume has been mixed with the white one, which is why it is lighter. The original lume was white, I wanted to make a slight change.
