- Welcome to your compulsory, completely-normal-I-promise Psychometric Questionnaire ASMR Roleplay!
But seriously, I promise there’s nothing tooooo scary here. Just a series of simple ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answers to questions posed in one of the free meeting rooms down the end of that corridor that seems longer every time you walk down it. Just the hum of the projector, the click of the next slide, and a reassuringly soft-spoken series of questions designed to… designed to… I mean, I never really understood psychometric tests, do you get them?

🎙 What is ASMR? 🎧
ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is synaesthesia of the soul. It’s a relaxing feeling, it’s a tingling down the spine, or it’s simply a sleep aid. Whether it’s being ‘held’ by someone you have confidence in, or ‘looked after’ by someone with authority, or just feeling ‘safe’ with someone you trust, it uses audio-visual triggers to enable you to let go of your worries and stresses - even just for a bit.
📽 What is FPC? 🎞
FPC (first person cinema) takes all the relaxing elements of ASMR but has much more of a focus on immersion and the suspension of disbelief. It’s kinda like being the main character in your own short movie, with popular figures you know and love, or entirely created worlds - just for you. There won’t be any visible mics or traditional triggers in these videos, and they will seem more unintentional than the usual ASMR videos - but they are unique and relaxing experiences designed to transport you to different places, worlds, and times.

Am I the only person having problems giving short yes/no answers? 😂 It's always a "Well it depends, so...." and then I start to ecplain myself 😂 This test is not for me (in RL) but for a ASMR it's perfect 😂😂

This honestly had me more terrified and on edge than most horror videos. It was just enough unpredictability and creepy/off atmosphere to have me feeling like something was going to jump out when I least expected it.
There was just something eerie about this and maybe it wasn’t a good idea to watch it at night
I’m quite new to your channel, I only started watching a few days ago- but I really enjoy the the different stories in all of your videos! As well as your slightly spookier themed videos! I haven’t even seen this one yet and I know it’s going to be a good one.

Have you ever experienced a feeling of déjá vu that left you unsettled?
@@tacituskilgore2501 All of them are unsettling to me. The details, the smells, the lighting, everything down to the last detail. I consider myself to be a rationalist but i have a hard time believing they are just " memory glitch ".

This actually spooked me! The slight change in tone after the sense of doom question got me. Absolutely love it!
I find myself answering most of these with "a bit of both and it depends on the situation"
But in a way i like that it points out that no one is truly a yes/no only kinda person, we're all different and would respond differently even in the same situation if we change the circumstances of that same situation.
We're always ever evolving, adapting and changing.

I think by now we all know that when Jim says something is totally normal, it's definitely NOT normal. And I'm just fine with that 😸 I really enjoyed the sounds of the projector, and your gentle voice asking the questions. Unfortunately, some of the questions I couldn't give a simple answer to, cause I always feel the need to clarify, otherwise I feel like the other person is going to misunderstand and judge me. I'm definitely interested to see where you'll be taking this. Thank you for another video!

When one must lie to follow the parameters of the test, the test is suspected of testing something beyond the answers themselves.

A scarily messy day has left me bolt rigid awake at 4.30ish am. So here I am taking a Jim test to pile on the anxiety, This because with any test my usual immediate answer in my head is " Well it depends ".. and this 'yes or no' test has gagged me from annoyed (and annoying) in depth answers from the jump.
The only unambiguous question is the one about ever having the feeling of being not unhappy. A: Yes.
Those questions with the first half answer yes and the last half no, or vice versa....can get stuffed, not answering.
Also why ARE those creaky leather gloved hands lurking just out of sight?
If this was a real employer's set test I would just answer what the boss expected a good employee to answer eg, NO to daydreaming, and get a better workplace environment asap.
For now I will just pretend I am a mysterious, cosy cat sleeping in the corner listening to the softly soothing sounds, feeling glad I'm not a human being having my psyche harshly measured.
I'm passively reading the description during the intro and first few questions and suddenly got reminded of the Silkbulb Test when he mentioned the projector. Love this video's scenario and format. The vibes are phenomenal!

Having had psychometry done IRL, I wonder how it'll compare. BTW the doctor who did mine read into my fucking SOUL it was sO RUDE. But I've had a lot of treatment since then and am doing much better.
