I Have used both and I love each one, I do have to say I love how customizable PP is but I’m not a fan of their covers and ended up switching out an old EC cover on my PP 7x9. I feel like the overall “feel” and quality of EC just appeals to me more but I also don’t mind horizontal. I’ve used both and went with the EC Flora 7x9 Horizontal and the EC A5 Ring Daily for this year, I know this wasn’t much help and I do love both but I think it’s EC for the win for me right now.❤️
I feel you on that, the covers definitely aren't as top notch quality like EC. Maybe I'll do the same as you.
I have both planners. I honestly love them in there own way. I’m just like you, I can’t decide. I always buy both. It’s just too tough to choose one. So I use each planner for specific tasks.. etc lol thanks for showing.

I'm actually loving the PP. The Flora design is so pretty, but the vertical seems roomier. Good luck with your decision!

I think you need to use the vertical pages for your daily sanity! But I would use the Erin Condren for faith planning. You can write out verses or observations based on a devotional for each day. Since you enjoy the Erin Condren it might help keep you coming back to it! :) Hope that helps in some way!
I have your exact same dilemma. I love EC, but hate horizontal. I just orderd at PPP A5 vertical columns. I plan to coil them together. I have an A5 EC daily duo and I'm going to take the weekly pages from the PPP and then coil them into my EC and remove the Daily Duo Pages. I'm hoping it will be my perfect solution.
I love PP. I know the paper is a point of contention for planner users, but I really like the smooth paper of PP. I use a Pentel Energel and have never had a smudge. I’m still trying to figure out which layout works best for me. I’ve tried horizontal, and daily ( beware, if you ever get the daily PP, it’s beefy). I’m going to try the ME layout next. That one sounds good too. I have stayed away from EC because not enough customization options, and it’s pricier than PP.
Is your EC in the flora tan color? It looks so pretty but for some reason I can’t figure out if it is pink or tan.
I am going with the EC A5. I tried the PP 7X9 Daily and I can't handle the paper. I love using stickers and that paper just does not work with stickers. I also didn't like how smooth it was. The other issue I had was all the shading on the pages.

I use a 7x9 Plum Paper vertical columns - I love the customizations, add-ins and the new modern colour way. I plan on buying another one (or a few) again for sure. I not NOT love the paper though, like at all. It's my pen only planner and I use mostly ball point to reduse smudging. I also bought an EC Daily Duo because I do love and have missed the paper. I knew when EC introduced separate weekends I was going to get it. The PPP daily is just too many sections for me. I'd definitely go with Plum Paper. I don't like how the horizontal looks at all.
I feel you, the paper in the EC is just the best! haha but yeah the horizontal is killing me! haha

Tough call - both have pros and cons … if you use stickers, sometimes removing them rip the PPP paper even if they are repositionable matte or vinyl stickers … that was my biggest frustration with PPP smooth paper… I switched back to EC … good luck with your decision
I have an EC life planner and PP Daily, and love both. I would stick with EC if the A5 came in vertical...I just can't with the horizontal layout. After seeing your vlog earlier I may have to jump into the PP vertical.
Right?! If EC came in vertical it would be hands down the planner for me but yeah I just can't full operate and function with a horizontal. I feel like it's spark notes version of my full list of plans for each day haha
From these two, I prefer the EC but why not rotate them monthly?
I really like the idea of sticking to just. one planner so I can flip through at the end of the year
If the holes match up, uncoil and Frankenplan. Insert the vertical weeklies into EC in place of the EC horizontals. Good luck.
That's not a bad idea at all because the coils so match up. I think I like all the extra space in the PPP so we'll see haha but thank you for this idea! :)

That's how I use the horizontal lol but it's still not enough space for me haha.
Why not use both planners but for different things? Like one for just your videos and work and the other for all the other parts of life?
I like to have just one planner with everything, I couldn't use multiple planners on a regular basis, it's too scatter brained me for.

Seems like PP is winning but I'd say EC. Its adorable and also elegant and beautiful. The paper also feels more amazing for me.
Additionally you can change your cover if you get tired of the same one 2 or 6 months down the road
I think that you love EC best and that is what makes your heart sing but you like the detail of a vertical plum paper. Why don't you reconsider the EC daily duo? It's vertical by the hour and there is plenty of room for detail and of course it comes with an area for to dos. I love mine. Good luck with your decision.
Ahhh you're not wrong at all. 😂🙈 the only reason I don't love the idea of daily planning for me is because it's so helpful for me to see my plans in a weeks view, it helps me to organize my plans better, plus daily duo comes with 2 books and I think that would be too overwhelming for me. lol & knowing me I'm sure I'd end up losing the 2nd book before I could even use it hahaha.

I’ve have used both and like them both for different reasons but decided for me my bullet journal knocks them both out of the running. I can incorporate exactly what I want into the bullet journal. If only I could find a bujo with ECs paper!
while I like the quality of EC, the PP wins in my book due to customization.
