I really enjoyed this cover and your reaction to it :) One thing that I wanted to mention is that Stupid Deep is actually Jon Bellion's. Switchfoot has a cover of that song, and I believe that's why you thought it was theirs (also, interestingly enough, Jon did a version of Meant to live on the re-make of Switchfoot's album) Btw, just in case you don't know who Jon is, he is an amazing writer, singer/rapper and producer, who has worked with numerous A list artists (Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Christina Aguilera, Eminem, Maroon 5, to name a few). He is suuuper talented, and Stupid Deep is such a great song! I would love to see your reaction to it. Sending love from Argentina
Seconding this comment - Jon Bellion isn't 'typical' music I gravitate towards, it's impossible to ignore his talent, everything he touches is gold. N&J should def check him out
I'm a bit late but WatG is super dope.. dunno how much u listen to them outside of reactions but if you haven't heard any of their stuff I'd recommend The Cure, A Voice in the Violence, Deadweight .. just to name a few 🤘
I think the days of Covers are over and now songs have to be Remade and made their own, just like this one was done and similar to Falling In Reverse with Last Resort.
I understand Nath with his opinion on the heavy vocalist, that was my exact thought the first time i listened to the song, but this was the second time (after listening to the original) and they didnt seem very ODD like they did in the first time. But regardless, it’s SUCH A GREAT COVER.
When the screamer comes in, in the chorus I get some rise against vibe. Don't know why 😅 and sometimes breaking Benjamin vibes also in the song. Great cover but nothing can beat the original with Linkin park.
I agree with Nath, the way they did the pre-chorus (?) was not my favorite. I may be biased in saying that I favor the original song over this cover, however, I truly applaud Wolves at the Gate for making it in the first place. That aside, I'm interested in this revival of Switchfoot, which are a Christian rock band, if I remember correctly.
Would love KSE to re-record Alive or Just Breathing. Think Jesse's cleans have improved massively over the years - plus modern day productions would elevate it even further!
It's a good cover but I agree with Nathan. Idk if you care but Travis Barker's son has just released his first song. Landon Barker - Friends With Your EX. He got my attention when I saw him play a +44 cover while opening for Blink two months ago.
Out of left field choice, Madonna’s early work. Holiday came on the radio the other day and I was struck by how simple it was compared to her later stuff. I’d be interested to see how it could be reinterpreted. I don’t necessarily think it would be better, but it would be interesting.
I agree with Nath to some extent. I thought when the heavy vocalist came in it made the pre chorus a bit weird. Apart from that i thought it was a great cover
Wolves At The Gate did a Thrice cover of "Deadbolt" back in 2013!
And it was amazing!!
I just notice that they change the part from "il never be alright" to "i know its not alright" giving it a little more happy but subtle change
It gives the song a hopeful end.
Bro I loved the heavy vocals, they're a metal core band, they want to sound like themselves. 10/10 on the cover.
What's really interesting is that this video is the 2nd video of a 2 video series....the first one is WATG's version of Heathens.
Would be awesome if you guys could interview a couple of the guys from wolves at the gate.
I really enjoyed this cover and your reaction to it :)

The Father’s Bargain and Embracing Accusation are 2 of my favorites

Listen to more Wolves At The Gate!
Hey!! I know you would love "legion" by tesseract! Such a great song!!!

I agree a little bit but I also get that the band probably wanted to switch it up but it's not just a straight up cover
I just thought it lacked some of the layered complexity the original had
Blink!!!

No, just no, it’s already flawless
It's a good cover but I agree with Nathan.

Nice one. Check out the new Aviana 🤟🏻
React to new song of blink 182 one more time 🙏🙂
The harsh vocals are the only thing I’m not vibing with. The cleans are really good though
You mesn the oposite!
