Would have to agree probably had it in m mode were it lets you slide but is still partially on and that saved him and his expensive car..crazy slide tho!
james hawkins I'm actually a mechanic and for your answer. Turbos can always flutter after the air has compressed out from the turbine. However if you listen. This turbo is actually choking very mutch, The problem is to small exhaust house or not enough big intake system. This is a defect when you install a very big turbo on your original system. I suppose he did not change any big parts. My english are bad i'm from germany :D
This video just sums up the learning curve of different people. Nobody is an expert on the first go. But sometimes it really "hurts", when You smash Your car to pieces.
What's the blue-white-orange livery on that BMW M235i Racing @ 6:38 called? Update: Nvrmind I found it! Adrenalin Motorsport is the name of the livery Full name; BMW M235i Racing Cup Adrenalin Motorsport
(Sorry for the English, my German isn't too good so I'll explain like this) Basically, the blow-off valve is set to a pressure below the threshold pressure of the wastegate, which causes the blow-off valve to become partially open under full throttle. It is not supposed to do that; it's just very bad tuning work.
+NLRevZ I dont think that's the case. He's most likely running an external wastegate which is too big for his turbo setup so when he's on boost it opens and closes since there isn't enough boost pressure keeping it open. Please explain how a Blow off valve is set to a pressure. It's not bad tuning persey if the boost comes on smoothly and holds then it works.
Could someone explain me how is price for guardrail counted? I know the price/meter, but I think that almost every guardrail after these crashes could be reused...
most of these could of been avoided if they were lighter on the pedal coming out of the corner and actually counter steered when they felt the back end coming out, that MR2 just said "fuck it" and plowed straight into the barrier
0:23 - I managed the same thing on a motorway slip road in Diesel BMW also without hitting anything. Felt like the luckiest man ever. Thankfullly nothing behind me at the time. (Traction control was on as well)
having never been there I wouldn't know for sure, but all that writing on the track cant be good for grip. driving on one white line in the wet it bad enough, but theres bloody loads where that ring taxi crashes at @3:40
Sadly, i know that there are way too many people in the growd that want people to crash, respect for those that try this track with their stock equip but it is indeed a totally new environment for a lot people and they always think too early that they got this under control.
DeadMan1609 Oh, I see. I found it weird because I couldn't see where the white one was coming from. And the blue/orange was kind of wide, so I was confused. Thanks!
no it was some other dude - obviously underskilled as he didn't use any opposite lock and hit the inside of a corner. Seriously, how do you turn "too" much??
Didn't counter steer one bit, just stared at the wall coming with a foot on the brake.. Not something I can imagine Sabine doing, at such low speed too..
duviday Yes because they would surely employ someone who's underskilled to take passengers in an M5 and tear up the Nordschleife lap after lap. Some of the things I read on here...
Jesus. 5:14, somebody please educate this moron passenger on keeping his hands in the vehicle. Not that the car would give any protection in a rollover without a roll cage/bar, but putting your hands up over the windshield to "brace" in a convertible is pretty spectacularly stupid.
This track has two things going against it .....(1)the geometry ( turns & apex )is wracked, and (2 )the surface is dirty, gauged and soaked in oil and petrol . Why would anybody take their family car or only car on to this outdated road course.? If I lived there I would own a tow truck company.
I want to point out and make fun of all the people not understanding that FWD and AWD tend to understeer... but i've been there - twice. Once into a curb, the other into fence. Hah!
Someone should create a real life suggestive line/device that tells you to take it easy or slow the f*** down according to the track. as seen in forza haha
BMW M4 at 05:03.. IMPRESSIVE!
In all honesty, the stability control probably saved him.
Would have to agree probably had it in m mode were it lets you slide but is still partially on and that saved him and his expensive car..crazy slide tho!
It's bad when the BMW ring taxi crashes
is it?
081588101 eh
in the end I think it should say 'see you 2015'. Thanks for providing some nice footage :) hope to be back next year!
Ups ;-) Yes you say it ;-) thx :-)
Chalk art at 8:01-8:02, stay classy Germany.
That white Subaru at the end sounded amazing!
james hawkins If you think a wrong installed turbo sounds good okay =)
Daniel Haltvik Do you 'improperly" installed? And I guess you know that car owner personally right?
james hawkins I'm actually a mechanic and for your answer. Turbos can always flutter after the air has compressed out from the turbine. However if you listen. Daniel Haltvik I really do not care. I liked the way it sounds.
+james hawkins owned

"1ST WARNING - CUT TRACK - LAP TIME WILL NOT COUNT"
Tango Lima lol
The tow truck at the end is the winner of the whole compilation!
TopGear brought me here! :)
3:26 was it M5 Ring taxi?
Yes 😉
DeadMan1609
Does that mean was is Sabine Schmitz?
No, not Sabine Schmitz
BMW Alpina The visitors in that car are not going for a ride in a Ring taxi for a loooooooooooonng time :D
Jonas92 Geschieht ihm richtig recht ;)
4:00 Ring Taxi macht Unfall..Was für ne eigen Werbung! ^^
Everytime when there is accident, other drivers will always make a stop and rescue them. Thumbs to all of them.
4:53 Die Post ist da!
5:03 OMFG engine power to save her.
That m3 at the beginning is one lucky devil hahah
this used to happen everytime i played on Nurbugring on Gran Turismo 5.
6:37 Oh my fucking god the roar of that SLS AMG @_____@
The Greenlight Trucker ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis!
The Toyota GT 86 with the number #533 at 0:35 is one of the cars from Dörr Motorsport.
This video just sums up the learning curve of different people. Nobody is an expert on the first go. But sometimes it really "hurts", when You smash Your car to pieces.
5:02 Perfect Drift, not sure if it was intentional, the recovery was perfect too !
Damn, the ring taxi spun out!
What's the blue-white-orange livery on that BMW M235i Racing @ 6:38 called?
Update: Nvrmind I found it! Adrenalin Motorsport is the name of the livery
Full name; BMW M235i Racing Cup Adrenalin Motorsport
Have a good Christmas, see Ya in 2015 :)
Thx, u2 😉
What's wrong with that Legacy acceleration boost at 8:25? Sounds like the turbo is losing most of the pressure.
+Jyllenberg external wastegate with screamer pipe it's just bled pressure to prevent overboosting.
the guy at 1:23, doesn't give one shit
is it mandatory that if someone crash you must stop and check them?
*crashes

Ok at 3:34 seeing a RingTaxi take itself out... yikes... I guess sometimes even in the Ringtaxi it can be dangerous.
Was that porsche on fire at 3:02?
What's sad is that most of those crashes would have been avoided if the drivers had some respect for the track.
2:40 no air bags?
No, no airbags
(Sorry for the English, my German isn't too good so I'll explain like this)
Basically, the blow-off valve is set to a pressure below the threshold pressure of the wastegate, which causes the blow-off valve to become partially open under full throttle. It is not supposed to do that; it's just very bad tuning work.
Ich spracht nicht. But look for info on the 22B Impreza's Blow Off Valve.
And I also think he's missing the gearshift.
Stupid guy with a great car.
+NLRevZ I dont think that's the case. He's most likely running an external wastegate which is too big for his turbo setup so when he's on boost it opens and closes since there isn't enough boost pressure keeping it open. 0:24 that's what you call luck!
Wie wäre es mal mit Kennzeichnen verfremden?
Ansonsten gutes Video, danke.
Props to the S1000RR rider who kept his cool!
1:40,wie kommt man da so nah dran?
0:16 - Like a boss :D
most of these could of been avoided if they were lighter on the pedal coming out of the corner and actually counter steered when they felt the back end coming out, that MR2 just said "fuck it" and plowed straight into the barrier
Strange to see how so many people manage to exit the track on the inside of the corner.
2:25 lol, no airbags?
0:23 - I managed the same thing on a motorway slip road in Diesel BMW also without hitting anything. Felt like the luckiest man ever. Thankfullly nothing behind me at the time. (Traction control was on as well)

8:20 anyone know this model ? Thanks
That's a second gen Subaru Legacy. :)
Hawk Ize Thanks bro
wow is that a BMW M1 at 1:00 ?
06.10 black car ? What is that name ?
Who was driving the ring taxi BMW??? That's like the only time I've seen it crash
Are there "competions
5:55, looks like Driftworks' MX-5...
At this Point I say also "Merry Christmas and a Happy 2015" :) I hope in March/April i will get my Driving License back
the e46 M3 crash at 0:24 how lucky.
3:06 who the fuck laps the nurburgring in a god damn 2003 station wagon.
Sadly, i know that there are way too many people in the growd that want people to crash, respect for those that try this track with their stock equip but it is indeed a totally new environment for a lot people and they always think too early that they got this under control.
I feel like this is a complication of "Don't take your stock commuter car on stock tires and try to go beyond your cars limits on the Ring".
The E36 coupe @ 4:26 hahahaha
Oha
Fahrzeug bei 6:12?
Jason Brockic Ist ein Noble
Green bmw at 4:24 deserved to have his car wrecked. I hope he went on to crash it lol
08:27 sounds like a hugeee turbo :O
You would be able to build a supercar with the amount of parts knocked off those cars :P
7:10 .. tad bit of understeer there..
4:45 bester Kommentar :D
What's with all the chalk scribbles on the track? Can't help with traction in the corners.
3:37, porsche gang, nice.
Luuuuucky BMW at 0:20
2:43 he couldnt keep the mr2 under control hahahaha
Puts a hew meaning to the term " crash course " ......this ins not a race course ,it's a crash course.
What happened @6:32??
The white BMW was on the green, and came across. then he hit the blue orange BMW
DeadMan1609 Oh, I see. I found it weird because I couldn't see where the white one was coming from. And the blue/orange was kind of wide, so I was confused.
Thanks!
Throttle Lift Theater proudly presents....Oversteer!
4:53 This is me playing Gran Turismo.
8:30 the Turbos omg
...but what happened to the Mitsubishi. :-/
I'd say the driver hit a barrier.
4:25 Keep trying bro, nobody came to this world knowing how to drift! But be extra careful please
*ans
Most of the crashes and mistakes from this video are those who drive BMWs. Beware...
@8:45 Noooo!
saß im Ring Taxi die Sabine ?
holy crap that was sabine that crashed the ring taxi. i think so anyways
No
impossible to be certain. but i thought i was a blond head in there
no it was some other dude - obviously underskilled as he didn't use any opposite lock and hit the inside of a corner. Seriously, how do you turn "too" much??

Das schöne Peugeot 406 Coupè... 😢
Why do the race cars just stop when they crash? Can't they really position themselves and re-enter the race?
4:49 Good laughter... :)
This track has two things going against it .....(1)the geometry ( turns & apex )is wracked, and (2 )the surface is dirty, gauged and soaked in oil and petrol . Why would anybody take their family car or only car on to this outdated road course.? If I lived there I would own a tow truck company.
***** 5:00 JP? Jean-Pierre, bist das du? :D
Funny how most drivers have no understanding of opposite lock.
Sad, but that Ring Taxi accident could be avoided.
I want to point out and make fun of all the people not understanding that FWD and AWD tend to understeer... but i've been there - twice.
Once into a curb, the other into fence. Hah!
3:48 Sabine?
No, not Sabine Schmitz
DeadMan1609 now I know why Sabine costs more, she doesn't crash so much maybe. :)
At least half of these crashes are due to panic breaking
El circuiro de Alemania. Me gusta mucho Nürburgring
03:25 hoho first Ring Taxi Fail i saw
90% of these crashes were shitty commuter cars.
They don't belong on a track.
Someone should create a real life suggestive line/device that tells you to take it easy or slow the f*** down according to the track. as seen in forza haha
