In all honesty, the stability control probably saved him.
Would have to agree probably had it in m mode were it lets you slide but is still partially on and that saved him and his expensive car..crazy slide tho!

james hawkins I'm actually a mechanic and for your answer. Turbos can always flutter after the air has compressed out from the turbine. However if you listen. This turbo is actually choking very mutch, The problem is to small exhaust house or not enough big intake system. This is a defect when you install a very big turbo on your original system. I suppose he did not change any big parts. My english are bad i'm from germany :D

this used to happen everytime i played on Nurbugring on Gran Turismo 5.
Sorry aber der Typ bei 4:25 muss seine Lektion noch richtig lernen. Einmal gedreht hat nicht gereicht, nein da muss er in der nächsten Kurbe wieder auf dicke Hose machen. Solche Leute haben auf dem Ring nichts zusuchen.

most of these could of been avoided if they were lighter on the pedal coming out of the corner and actually counter steered when they felt the back end coming out, that MR2 just said "fuck it" and plowed straight into the barrier

I feel like this is a complication of "Don't take your stock commuter car on stock tires and try to go beyond your cars limits on the Ring".
einige kann man da echt nur auslachen, denken die haben die dicksten karren sind aber nicht in der lage diese zu beeherschen,
ein glück das die sich auf der rennstrecke kaputt fahren anstatt auf der öffentlichen straße so se unschuldige in den tot reißen
da gibts nichts zu lachen. Jeder der auf der Rennstrecke den Unfall baut verdient vollsten Respekt, weil er es dort in einem Umfeld tut, wo das einkalkuliert ist und jeder weiß worauf er sich einlässt.
Hubieee vollsten respekt dafür das du nen unfall bauen??
Alta wo leben wir denn hier, selbst aufm Ring kannst du andere mit in gefahr bringen wenn du dein auto nicht beherrschst. also warum sollten die dann respekt verdienen? Die Logik muss mir mal jemand eindreschen, denn das verstehe ich nicht.
Man sollte auch auf einer Rennstrecke so schnell fahren, wie man es unter kontrolle hat. jemand der nicht so ein gefühl für sein auto hat, oder jetzt ne karre fährt, die keine guten kurvenlage usw hat, sollte dann einfach etwas langsamer fahren.
Aber jeder denkt sofort, "so wir sind jetzt auf ner Rennstrecke, lass mal alles aus dem auto raus holen was geht". Klar, es gibt mal ausnahmen, wo fehler passieren, oder es situationen gibt, wo man sein auto einfach nicht mehr unter kontrolle halten kann, siehe das Ring Taxi, da sitzen erfahrene Fahrer drinnen, aber auch denen passiert mal ein kleiner unfall.
Aber das mit dem respekt ist total falsch an der stelle bzw worauf du es wertest.
Respekt verdienen die leute, die den Ring ohne unfall befahren können, aber mit sicherheit nicht die leute, die einen haben werden oder die schon einen hatten, denn das sind für mich in meinen augen einfach nur deppen, die es übertreiben müssen.

081588101 Der Ring ist eine Rennstrecke, das heisst die STvO gilt dort nicht. Wo wenn nicht auf dem Ring soll man sein Fahrzeug austesten? Es an die grenzen bringen und vielleicht auch mal darueber hinaus? Jeder der sein Fahrzeug auf dem Ring austestet verdient durchaus respekt denn sie haben die Weitsicht diesen Schwachsinn nicht im oeffentlichen Verkehr zu machen.

What's wrong with that Legacy acceleration boost at 8:25? Sounds like the turbo is losing most of the pressure.
+Jyllenberg external wastegate with screamer pipe it's just bled pressure to prevent overboosting.

Basically, the blow-off valve is set to a pressure below the threshold pressure of the wastegate, which causes the blow-off valve to become partially open under full throttle. It is not supposed to do that; it's just very bad tuning work.
Ich spracht nicht. But look for info on the 22B Impreza's Blow Off Valve.
And I also think he's missing the gearshift.

+NLRevZ I dont think that's the case. He's most likely running an external wastegate which is too big for his turbo setup so when he's on boost it opens and closes since there isn't enough boost pressure keeping it open. Please explain how a Blow off valve is set to a pressure. It's not bad tuning persey if the boost comes on smoothly and holds then it works.

0:23 - I managed the same thing on a motorway slip road in Diesel BMW also without hitting anything. Felt like the luckiest man ever. Thankfullly nothing behind me at the time. (Traction control was on as well)

This track has two things going against it .....(1)the geometry ( turns & apex )is wracked, and (2 )the surface is dirty, gauged and soaked in oil and petrol . Why would anybody take their family car or only car on to this outdated road course.? If I lived there I would own a tow truck company.
Someone should create a real life suggestive line/device that tells you to take it easy or slow the f*** down according to the track. as seen in forza haha
