I was shooting small birds (warblers) a couple of weeks ago and noticed when putting the camera away a small bird poop on my D6; of course right on top of the left hand dial, so cleaning it was difficult :) Love your content, as always.

Les dedico mucho tiempo y por esta zona, Asturias en el norte de España las solemos fotografiar sin ningún tipo de camuflaje. Eso si, rectando muy lentamente y guardando esa distancia hasta donde te toleran. Por supuesto que al conocer la zona por donde se alimentan aprovechamos los elementos como rocas y demás para camuflarnos. Lo dicho un gran trabajo.

I made a Gore-tex cover for the camera and lens, mainly for wet weather but also for these situations where a bit more protection is needed. I know you can buy these things, I just preferred to make mine to suit my needs and set-up instead of a universal one. Nice video, keep up the good work, regards, Mark.
Thank you for the video.. I cut the handle off a cheap 4 inch paint brush and use it to brush the sand off before putting the camera back in the bag, At home i wipe it down with a damp rag.
Yep, that was a fantastic watch Trond! As always…. Great birds and notoriously twitchy! That sand would have driven me mad, lol… worth it though. Beautiful music and a great watch. All the best R 👍
Thank you for the video. I made a tripod out of a pan for taking photos on the beach, it works very well. This means less sand on the equipment and is easy to make.
