- The forest has a really special place in my heart. It give me such a peaceful and calm mind. So wildlife photography in the forest can be really emotional for me. With all kinds of birds and animals. This time I had a great moment with nuthatch, great tit and red squirrel. Hopefully you can experience some of my feelings of the forest through the video.

One day I was walking up a lane near my house and heard a strange noise, a bird I'd never heard before, There was a quite open bush, right next to the road, and I looked in and saw a goldcrest, only about two feet away, and watched it for a while. It didn't fly away, even though I was so close. Was thrilled to see it, and haven't seen one since.
I love you nature photographers, you are my idols about the wildlife of animals and forests. Staying for hours to have great angles is already a successful day. Congratulations!

I get so excited being out with my camera, surrounded by birds and wildlife, never knowing what I’ll see. I’m in my own little world and I love it. And one thing I always love about watching your videos is seeing the same passion and enthusiasm. Some beautiful shots there again Trond as always 😊👍🏼

Hey Trond! Another awesome video! You must have read my mind.... I thought it's ben a awhile since you visited the Red Squirrels and here you post a video with them! I love the forest... but right now we have 3 very large forest fires going on in our area. Very sad.... I did a short video of our squirrels in our backyard it was great fun ! That was Brilliant Trond, what a great selection of photos from the day. I was sitting by a river today and a goldcrest came to see me a couple of times, but stayed mostly hidden in the tree. You deserve way more subscribers Trond. Nice to see the GoPro working well, the squirrel went in for a close look. 👍🏻

Well those gopros are quite near the camera and picks up that noice a bit to well. So this video doesnt actually show how it sound like where the birds are.

Nok en gang en nydelig video med mange fantastiske bilder :) Lyktes godt med plasseringen av goPro'en i bunn av treet der. Har du testet ut hvilken farge i bunn av speilbassenget som gir best/finest refleksjon? Nylig laget et sånt basseng, med grønn presenning, og syns det gir litt for mye farge mot overflaten i vannet.. Tenkte å prøve med en svart duk i bunnen etterhvert.

Random question, are you going to switch to Canon with the new cameras, also why only 500mm?
I dont see the need for it right now. I am really happy with what I got. I love the 500mm...and I am changing between the DX and FX together with the teleconverter to get different range.

Hey Trond! These videos get better and better, I do have a question for you. As an enthusiast photographer, should I invest in a Nikon or Canon DSLR for wildlife photography? I'm asking you, as you use Nikon products, whereas I use Canon products. So I'd like to know what other companies have to offer for around £1000 to £1500.

Never miss a shot. Carry camera on a holster or chest rig. Cameras always ready to grab. Cotton Carrier. Or others. A hand shot is better then no shot.
