Simple Alcohol Stove Burner in an Old Soap Bar Tin

Took a few minutes to make and works very well. I now need to make a pot support & wind shield for it.

what material did you use for the wick?

A piece of old cotton towel - but a strip of cotton/denim jeans or something similar will work ok too.
