(Not sarcasm, genuinely curious) If Theon was that tortured and messed up with that many things missing (fingers, toes) would Reek be able to overcome those disabilities by believing that they're a wholly different person?

I suppose Theon thinks that after many more tortures, Ramsay will get bored of him and finished him. Theon also feels like he deserves that punishment, so 50% of the time he feels like he wants to die now and end all the suffering and the 50% it's himself "knowing" he deserves worst for his sins
This might be controversial but I think the show had it right: Ramsay will kill his father. Ramsay won't be satisfied with just being a Bolton. He wants to be THE Bolton. The Lord. He already killed his brother so why not his father? As for Theon: I think his survival ruins the results of the Kingsmoot. The vote doesn't count if not all the claimants are there and Balon's sole surviving son definitely should be heard. I don't have it all worked out yet and I might be misremembering things but I think Theon surviving ruins Euron's plans a bit.
@Kevin Pendragon Great argument, though I tend to believe that Euron's plans involve him ditching the iron born for some sort of magic power. After all, a great deal of his supporters will die in the battle of blood, so banking on them to see his ambitions through to me seems unlikely. I could be completely wrong about that, but Euron is smart enough to recognize his shaky hold of the seastone chair, and the forsaken chapter basically confirmed he has no further interest with the chair. As for Ramsey, I remember in a Preston Jacob's video that there's textual evidence that he wants the Dreadfort to himself, so I completely agree on him taking out Roose.
I hope Theon doesn't die. Kinda want to see him redeem himself to the point where he goes from Theon Turncloak to Theon Icebreaker or something cool lol

The mystery came about either because Martin's delays led people to overspeculate or because we wanted to see a Hamlet-like avenger amidst the Boltons
