When I first heard "Imprisoned..." my heart started beating so fast I was expecting a heart attack. Best WoW intro so far. Shows the 2 new races, The Dark Portal and of course Illidan. I'm really hoping the Cataclysm intro will be made in the same way. With Worgens/Goblins, the actual cataclysm and naturally Deathwing himself! I get shivers just thinking about it.
to expand on Frozenstormify's response; They were originally called High Elves (or Quel'Dorei for their technical name) they're an off-shoot of the Elves that continued practicing Arcane and Fel magic.
Actually it is, Azeroth is one of the seven Human kingdoms, it is the most southern of the three Continents that comprise the Eastern Kingdoms AND it's the planet of Azeroth. The name applies to any of those three entities in the lore depending on context. He is not an idiot for that reason, the reasons he may be an idiot are several (spelling, asked for subs and grammar to take some) but Azeroth really is a continent.
@robbaneken i tottally agree with you. but if you have Wotlk collectors edition you can actually hear them talking about the intro why they made it like that. Its mostly cause of the time it takes to make all those short diffrent lightning sceenes, but yea class and race showing is like 10/10 !
Nope, I suggest you look again. The Eastern Kingdoms are made up of 3 continents. Azeroth, Khaz Modan and Lordaeron. Also sometimes in the earlier lore the Eastern Kingdoms themselves are named as Azeroth too.
Even if so that doesn't warrent calling him an idiot and it didn't make what you said right. Azeroth IS a continent and in older lore it is even at times used as the name for the Eastern Kingdoms. You are both right and wrong depending on the lore you read so watch out who you call idiot, it might very well make you look like one.

Never liked this cinematic, Love the draenei paladin, and I like the mage. But Illidan is such crap, his "you are not prepared" just doesn't convince me. I hear mindless boasting, like "What did you say about me you little bitch, I'll have you know bla bla bla". Sure Illidan, you got your ass kicked in W3 but now you are acting all boss? He just seems like a detour to me, unlike Arthas or deathwing.
