These recent videos with hand-picked dissent is more of a recent style on this channel. From my "Western" perspective, I concur with these people and feel for them. But also know that they are a minority, are rather passive and won't have influence on what happens in Russia.

Democracy is no easy thing to understand.
Just look at Trump and his voters (not his supporters). In most other countries there are also quite big groups who are prepared to choose half criminals and others in the grey zone moving people.
If you don't have a free investigating press, you can't have any basic democracy.
Then people even in the smallest village/town must be interested to take active part in the work of the local council. There the political work begins and there you learn what people's real needs are.
Then some of you move on to higher levels.
Nowadays in many countries you elect a former sportsman, actor, etc. as president... If people don't understand that this is a disaster, I don't know what to say.
In my family people have been politically active on the local level well over 400 years, maybe even from the late 15th century...
So if the Russians work hard on democracy, maybe they can reach quite a high level after 2-300 years, or after about eight generations.
First of all they have to work hard the next 100 years to get rid of the (state) mafia. Maybe they could get some knowledge from Italy!?

I suspect Daniil got into problems (it is a dictatorship) and a friend who had the channel access/password changed the title. Or Daniil is not allowed to publish but had the opportunity to change the channel title.
It does not look good.
Daniil did say in his last LIVE that he is not planning to do street interviews. But he did mention he will do LIVE once a while. Network changed name to Archives, this looks like it is end of it. It was planned. He did not disappear out of blue.

I'm sure there are many Russian ex-patriots who would love nothing more than to return home to their motherland, but for them the political situation is untenable. The executive, legislative, and judicial systems are completely captured and loyal to Putin. Russia's role as a geopolitical antagonist under Putin has unnecessarily harmed the everyday people who do not agree with his foreign policy and just want to go about living their lives without having to navigate through a landscape of state-sponsored repression that has emerged.

I can certainly see how someone would see Russia as the good guy given the overt/covert belligerence that has been exhibited by the West towards Russia within the last 20+ years, but the West in turn would say that they are/were countering Russian aggression and expansion.

Direct presidential elections are underway in Russia. In the USA, the president is elected by "electors", so in the USA it often happens that the vote of the people does not always correspond to the result of this vote.
