Wow! What a great find! One man's trash is another man's treasure! I also found little treasures at flea markets. I hope your beautiful Montblanc 24 will last you a lifetime!
I’m a subscriber and regular viewer. These are beautiful pens and I acquired a 22 after watching your video and absolutely love writing with it. Thank you very much for sharing your pens and your knowledge on the history and maintenance.
I have a 24 unfortunately my little brother overflexed the nib leading to irreplaceable damage and i can only find a replacement nib for the no 22 so my question to anyone who is more knowledgeable than me are the 22 and 24 nibs interchangeable?
No. The series 1X are considered Meisterstuck or Masterpiece and they are expensive and of high quality. The series 2X are considered middle level fountain pens. The 1x series are NOT compatible with the 2x series. Have a nice day!
@@soslan1812 , I own both the 14 and 24. The nibs are interchangeable between pens of the same last digit excluding 3x, though The Pen Collector is right in that the 1x series have 18k gold nibs whereas the 2x series have 14k. But again, their shapes are the same.
Hello. 6 months ago, I found a dead stock 92❢ It wasn't a very affordable price😢 You take great care of your fountain pen. I want to be like you too😊 Thankyou !
Do you think a pen like this vintage 22 is worth 100 euros? I like like the look of the pen but as a 16 year old 100 euros is a lot of money. I found one for sale a vintage one the guy says it is between 1950s-1970s also the selle lives only a few km away so i could go and see them.
I think that 100 € is a nice sum of money but if you have the chance go and test the pen. I would buy a Montblanc Meisterstück 146 but that one sells for around 200 €. Sometimes it pays to be pacient and wait a little bit till you have a nice sum of money to buy a really god pen.
I found a Montblanc 24 in the garbage a few years ago. It's in good condition. I love it.

Thank you very informative.. I own a 22 but the ink window is yellow? Could this be from a later model and used to replaces a broken original?
Very well done video
Thank you!

my very first Montblanc Fontaine Pen in my life
Nice video(but you ruined the pen😕)
Why do you think I have ruined the pen? It still writes just fine. I try to take care of my vintage fountain pens. Maybe I did something wrong. 🤔
You did no harm to the pens. Wonderful video
Your pens are worth thousands but your penmanship doesn’t quite match
