Hi! Very interesting the German mechanical pencil from Reform. Certainly for the colors it has it belongs to the line of the Reform 1745 fountain pen. Excellent purchase! thanks for what you shared.

The text in the instruction paper is not German. I think it's Dutch. They're sister languages though. :) maybe this model was also for the French and Benelux market.

Oh, i understand your frustration at cracking the Eversharp! Recently, I had fitted a new sac to my Burnham B48, then I cracked a piece of the celluloid off as I tried to reinsert the section 😞

Hy there! I bought one Pelikan M 200 today from the flea market in Calarasi. I payed 2 lei( can you beleive it?) . It is a fine nib, and has a good nice flex.

I thought that the light blue ballpoint pen you bought at 1 Lei could be used to cheat on the exam...but if I get caught, I'll be twice as angry😂

DIN on the flaro ballpoint refill means Deutsche Industrie Norm, so id venture that the refill is german manufactured

You can't replace the mines. The tension spring is wound around the pin which is fixed to the mine. Multiple other factors make it impossible to replace and reassemble it. You will most likely wear out the tension springs in the process, making it unusable.

Un stilou prost. Noua ne-a impus la scoala sa fie BIC ca daca este orice alta marca, sa nu il aducem la scoala. Recomand Lamy sau Faber Castell. Inclusiv elevii mei sunt nemultumiti de el, nu am niciun elev caruia sa ii fi functionat stiloul pe o perioada mai mare de 2 luni de zile. Se intrerupe continuu pana cand nu mai scrie deloc.

Hi great pen collector. I have some pens looking that way, and I think it is a german pen.I have a Argument Full Fix fountain pen 1938 looks similar I have 2 pens with this lion nib and that is how I found this youtube movie. I found out it is a Peter Rubb nib. This is my way of thinking ; After the second world war people did not like Germany goods . The good german nibs all have only a stamp, no letters, so you did not know it was a german pen. Many of those Dutch pens, where I come from, are not really dutch pens. They write like a german pen of the 30's. It has that nice semi flex. I am happy that people do not know these stamps, so I have many degussa nib pens for a bargin...Most know the bock nib. But this Peter Rubb nib has this nice semi-flex 50's feel, but the pen is older.OK... you make nice fountain pen movies, nice stories and good writing stuff. Thanks. dave

I don't think the nib is real gold plated. I have a Jinhao X750. It has an all silver colored nib that says 18KGP. I don't think they know what 18KGP means. English isn't there first language. Chinese is there first language. Jinhao still makes good pens.

M400 ? But it looks like cap and pen are mixed period before and after 1997...

I never try hero blue ink, but i did tried black hero ink and i personally liking more than Parker Quink. I personally not a big fan of opaque ink. i inked Hero black ink for my waterman and i flow smoothly. In the end all kid of personal reference. Thanks for your sharing.

Love the Rotring fountain pen, the stilograph brings back memories of Technical Drawing in High School (you use them around a 90° angle with the paper), the ettuis were fantastic and also loved the 5.6 mm drawing pen at the end.

Not so cheap. He quotes $US 6.00 or 5.00 Euros, but in the US it sells for $35.00 to $40.00😒

257 USD!!! That’s crazy for a pen that works just as well as a plain BIC 😭.

Great story and good advice. Maybe the filling button has the type of the nib engraved. My MB 252 (1st version) has "M-" on it.

It would have been funny if you had your swinging balanced watch from your desk on your towel at the beach. Not practical away on vacation but funny.
