Does being a total ass and being rude mean that you have balls? So to be a big man, you need to put other people down, interrupt them, dominate a conversation, act like an animal when you're a member of a parliamentary committee.......is that what having "balls" is? Well it's not. Poilievre's only asset is that he is savvy enough that he knows how to appeal to the absolute base level amongst some of the population, hoping that somehow this support is going to win him a national election. Since most people don't respect asinine behaviour, it may win him a few atta boy comments on here, but it will never win him an election amongst moderate, well mannered, respectable voters. Never.
Even Carney's argument makes zero sense. He admits there is still a global need for oil, so pipelines should be built. But instead of in Canada, where we have extremely ethically sourced oil pulled by extremely well paid workers, we should give that investment opportunity to Brazil and the UAE who.. well, let's be generous and say they don't have either. How about you invest in renewal energy transitions in Brazil and the UAE instead, and let us do the oil since we have a great track record of it and they do not.
Its not rocket science to say that not all pipelines are created equally. Whether you AGREE or not, its politicking to try to say "you support pipeline X in another country, so therefore you should support ANY pipeline offered here". THAT is the political gobbledeegook and thats political rhetoric 101, not much above "hey, you aren't allowed to criticize any fossil fuel initiative because your computer is made of plastic". You just happen to AGREE with his position, which is fine, but its his comments that are politicking.
Shutting down jobs here at home and essentially exporting them overseas and South/Central America seems to be the main priority of the Trudeau Government. Why isn't Pierre leader of the Conservative party?? This guy just makes sense.

Considering Alberta's long line of Conservative governments do not help to bring down the price at the pump at in the domestic market the way its done in Saudi Arabia, should beg a question. Who is the disgrace. Alberta or Canada? Promote a domestic market first so that you feel it at the pump and I'd say Alberta would find people very amenable to getting that oil out to foreign markets. PS: I remember a Liberal government that tried to set up a mechanism for getting oil into the Canadian markets so we could benefit at the pump but Alberta's nationalism then showed its angry tongue. Sorry but perhaps you might wake up. To our shared reality.

A little presumptuous Mark. I. an educated person (my bias) you "sir" want Canada to lead the way in green tech. A noble idea. In reality, China is building coal energy production facilities at a high rate. Google it, China has 1082 plants that are active. Alberta didn't even make the world list for countries with coal plants. I could go on. My thought, and it wasn't brought up in the Canadian leadership debate of 2021, is why are individual Canadian taxpayers being taxes for coal emissions and other fuel-related segments? Clearly, Alberta's global emissions are irrelevant. Canada's total yearly emissions are sub 5%. Air, I can't believe I am spelling this out, has no borders. Seems there are bigger fish to fry high-brow guys. Google it. You all should be ashamed. You especially Marky Mark. Slick money maker. And..Google this, there is 150 years of the global supply of oil in just the Alberta region alone. To me, that doesn't warrant a panic "must go green agenda" and tax scheme on Canadians. Vote Liberals out in September 2021.
The Liberals and many other parties around the world are manufacturing a crisis as a way to create a need for global government. As was the case with covid, they're preying on the average citizen's goodness. Most people agreed with masks and vaccines because they thought they were doing the right thing. Most people believe there's a climate emergency and they want to do the right thing, too. It would never occur to them that their desire to do right is being manipulated.

Never.
What a Phony Liar…
Unbelievable. Makes me want to jump through my screen and clock him.
Me too
Clock who?? Sure hope you don't mean Pierre.
@@mavisarmitage2065 no, not pierre
Even Carney's argument makes zero sense. He admits there is still a global need for oil, so pipelines should be built. But instead of in Canada, where we have extremely ethically sourced oil pulled by extremely well paid workers, we should give that investment opportunity to Brazil and the UAE who.. well, let's be generous and say they don't have either. How about you invest in renewal energy transitions in Brazil and the UAE instead, and let us do the oil since we have a great track record of it and they do not.
Pierre is a beast. Carney’s answer sounds like political gobilygoo. 👍❤️🇨🇦
You just cannot physically get a reply to any question you pose to a liberal MP or MPP.
They defect, gaslight, straw-man, etc.
He is a freemason
@@victory5232 who?
Its not rocket science to say that not all pipelines are created equally. Whether you AGREE or not, its politicking to try to say "you support pipeline X in another country, so therefore you should support ANY pipeline offered here".
THAT is the political gobbledeegook and thats political rhetoric 101, not much above "hey, you aren't allowed to criticize any fossil fuel initiative because your computer is made of plastic".
You just happen to AGREE with his position, which is fine, but its his comments that are politicking.
Pierre is spitting out the political "gobilygoo" and you bought it hook line and sinker, lol!
Carney is disgrace and needs removed from our banking system
Shutting down jobs here at home and essentially exporting them overseas and South/Central America seems to be the main priority of the Trudeau Government. Why isn't Pierre leader of the Conservative party?? This guy just makes sense.
I agree to the Max - he should lead the tories
@@dforge8917 Yep, Bernier was another one who could have beat Trudeau. Trudeau is the weakest PM this Country has had, ever.

Your not allowed to have common sense in parliament ! It’s a Turdhole rule !
@Simon Bolduc so u would rather have it transported by truck and rail which means higher emissions more chances of accidents (spills) and if u r one of those people that r against fossil fuels get rid of 95% of the stuff u have around and in your home , like ur TV, phone , all your appliances, car , bikes , furnace etc , I could make a list a mile long but check for yourself, so if u have even one of those things STFU !
And then you taxes us carbon taxes so you over seas investment stays secure

Yup big time
YES
I think that day is coming

No, the questions need asked despite how uncomfortable you find them.
Pierre Poilievre is a Canadian Patriot that should be leading this country.
Agreed
@TRUTHNTRADITION
You want to increase jobs in Canada in the oil industry. We import almost 8 billion litres of gas into Canada from the U.S and other countries every year. WHY. Because we allowed refineries to shut down and oil companies to export raw petroleum to American refineries. How many Canadian jobs have been exported to refine Canadian oil in foreign countries so we can buy it back as a higher priced product. Here's a list of closures over the years .These were not temporary pipeline construction jobs or minimally manned pumping stations. When Poilievre can talk his oil donors and other Conservative member oil donors to build refinery capacity even to meet our own needs, I'll believe him about his concern for Canadian jobs.

Arrogance, rudeness, and a smug attitude is not patriotism. It's simply a disrespect for civility and pandering to those who also see respectable behaviour as something only exhibited by the weak.
@TRUTHNTRADITION His message is perfect for me. Please do not lump groups of people together....thank you.
Three years later, the "should" is going to be replaced by a "will".
It very much seems Mark Carney is squirming to give his reply.
Mark. Carney is trying to build carbon exchange so he and his friends can make huge profits
I am not even Canadian but I love this guy.
If he wins, I'm moving to Canada.
Pierre Poilievre is THE REAL DEAL. This guy is damn smart and knows exactly what he's doing. Anyone else in the Conservative Party figuring that out yet?
lol i think 80% of the party feels that easy.
I have to think that Dominion-style antics are used to determine who wins these leadership races. How O'Toole is the PC leader is beyond me.
If he was Conservative leader, they'd take the next election.
Long ago, he should have ran instead of Scheer. My concern now is fricken Ford acting like a lying Liberal. I would like to hear Pierre explain that to us. I really would like to hear what he has to say about Ford because here again people are pissed at Ford. We really need to get some of these crooked politicians out of office. We really need to make a clean-uo in every party of the corrupt.

Correction - corruption has become to obvious to ignore. It was just better hidden before.

You mean wake up Montreal and Toronto. The rest of Canada didn't vote for Turdeau.

Canadians, not Carney have, the right to determine "the future energy picture" for Canada.
He’s Britain’s point man at the U.N and this is what they mean by sustainable development,we will sustain what we have and nothing more. Rich countries will leave our resources in the ground and developing nations will be allowed to exploit theirs. This is wealth redistribution and the elites will always use this insider information to invest accordingly.
This is what a real leader does by asking and defending our Canadian rights money and employment. Great job Mr. Polliviere.

BUT at the same time our Canadian governments plans to ban 🚫 all fossils fuel usage domestically.

Deny Canadian jobs, promote getting our gas from dirtier companies abroad...good think Carney is going to tell our Pierre "how the economy works". How condescending! Mr. Poilievre would be an AWESOME Finance Minister!
Mark C a Davos elite and a. Double standard
Thank You Pierre, It is easy to tell when ANYONE is lying. They can not. and never will answer questions. with a simple, yes or no. They will always talk around the truth.
This man should never be the prime minister of canada with his trump like behavior.
I used to admire carney before he went to Europe. He definitely changed. Now he's just another activist pretending he's looking out for canadians..he's full of it. And what a hypocritical position to take. And you notice how the others on the video started ganging up on Pierre because they weren't comfortable where the conversation was going. And these people are supposed to be leaders...what a joke they are. Thankfully for the adult in the room..good job Pierre.
When Trudeau finally crashes and burns, look for Carney to be all over the media. CBC, CTV and Global will try to brand him as the next leader of the Liberal Party.
