I do sand down my dominoes fir dry fitting, they’re just not the ones i use for the glue up 😉 i keep a set that are marked with pen for the job 👍
OK
Exactly right. Very easy to do and always to hand
Nice. That's a cracking idea
I have a pair of those pliers. LOL. I have knocked off those little “nibs” on the ends. Never the face of the domino. But I did not know about being able to lock those flaps down.
Wicked cool !!
Locking the flap is an excellent tip. I’ll be using that one for sure.
Cool !!!
Great tips as always
Thanks Martin.....
Sedge, what is the name of your block plane?
Bridge City Toolworks ..here is a link ...bit.ly/SedgeHP8
Make sure you’re sitting down when you check the price of that big foot
OK
I put mine in the microwave for half a minute and the fit in just fine.
OK
I did not know a couple of these. Awesome!
👍
Thanks quick useful tips..
You're welcome!
Ouch my jaw just broke ! An Allen wrench as a key to lock the flap out ! AWESOME ! Thank you so much !
BTW, the only thing the TSO big foot is missing, is the extra flaps for 20mm center as the Festool has. I made them the comment… still, I don’t regret having purchased it.
Thanks for the tip!
Truly enjoy watching your videos! Knowledgeable but still approachable and I'm sure a lot like me appreciate you for that. I have two questions that you may have answered before and I haven't seen.... How do you determine the spacing/number of dominos on a joint of different sizes, and - I always wonder what all you have in your small tool pouch! May help us newbies by hearing what you keep handy.
This might help...

Thanks for another video! I was on the fence about the Bigfoot from TSO but I think you just showed me one of the best applications
Glad it was helpful!
Just lovely. How about centering middle board without TSO big plate?
It is on the base and the support bracket that comes with the Domino ... I showed this in this video....
Nice video tips again Sedge.... love those. I want to add my 2cents.
"That is a milled flat that is exactly the center of my domino cutter" *no matter the size of the cutter* :P
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for all these great tips! Your channel has greatly improved my woodworking skills!! Thank you!
Rock on!
Wow, had a Domino for over 10 years, but I still learned something today! My boy Sedge, he's wicked smart!
awwww shucks....
Wicked cool Sedge man! BTW, I'm one of Doc's friends down here in DFW.
A friend of Doc's is a friend of mine.....
I used red nail polish to highlight my DF700
cool
I want to share that using Locking Pliers to pull the tenon out is easier than normal pliers.
cool
