    This above all of your other projects makes me the most happy! I love to smoke and I'm making one of these! (However you still need to show everyone enjoying a great meal!)

    I hope they listen or rather, read the comments from their subscribers asking for a more improved and less abrupt ending. I see this request on almost every DIY video of theirs. Not saying there needs to be a 5 mins demonstration of the end product. A minute would already be sufficient. Just a friendly suggestion :-) Cottage Life DIY

      Ike you usually get a quick glance at it at the end but you barely get to see what it actually is.

      This is a very commercial series and I highly doubt the guys making the footage are the ones editing it. They probably film and build, then send it too the editors and they make the best with what they got for footage. I don't know this for sure, I am just speculating.
      I agree with you 100% btw.

    • @EbenloPainterOfSong
      @EbenloPainterOfSong 9 років тому +2

      I agree. You go through the journey of work on each video to find out how much they enjoyed the end results, and it seems like 5 seconds or less of the end result. I would also enjoy hearing them critique their own work and if they would have done anything differently after they started using it.

    love the show just needs to be a bit longer, I want more. :) Maybe include more close ups on the steps on how it was made i.e. how you joined the wood to make the top on the building and maybe more close ups on the finished project. you guys are really talented and i like to see more diy instructions. Thanks keep up the good work.

    I have seen flashing roll placed in the stack (inside of smoker) to lengthen it allowing more smoke to fill the smoker before exiting. It's all preference.

    I know a woman who built her own badass smokehouse by herself and she doesn't exclude anyone from eating her food or coming over. I'm just saying cause you keep calling it a man cave and that it's man food lol. Which is fine if that's your personality. Great job on your smokehouse though!

    • @Mazekwon
      @Mazekwon 10 років тому +1

      You can find a man that wears panty hose and high heels, it's not suddenly "a man thing".
      I think that is great to see women out there breaking down borders on clichés but that doesn't make smoking meat for hours on end a feminine thing to do..unless....well you know ;)
      Not knocking what she did, but I'm just saying you don't see too many women out there basting the beast...
      Picturing a woman standing there sweating over a rotating hog is turning me on....I gotta go....

    Awww. I'm kinda disappointed. One of my favorite pass times is to search through UA-cam comment sections for comment wars fought over stupid things. The minute I heard both the phrases "Man food" and "Man cave," I instantly went to the comments section to see if any feminists had gotten into a war over guys being guys. But alas, there is no stupidity to observe today :(
