This above all of your other projects makes me the most happy! I love to smoke and I'm making one of these! (However you still need to show everyone enjoying a great meal!)
I hope they listen or rather, read the comments from their subscribers asking for a more improved and less abrupt ending. I see this request on almost every DIY video of theirs. Not saying there needs to be a 5 mins demonstration of the end product. A minute would already be sufficient. Just a friendly suggestion :-) Cottage Life DIY
This is a very commercial series and I highly doubt the guys making the footage are the ones editing it. They probably film and build, then send it too the editors and they make the best with what they got for footage. I don't know this for sure, I am just speculating. I agree with you 100% btw.
I agree. You go through the journey of work on each video to find out how much they enjoyed the end results, and it seems like 5 seconds or less of the end result. I would also enjoy hearing them critique their own work and if they would have done anything differently after they started using it.
love the show just needs to be a bit longer, I want more. :) Maybe include more close ups on the steps on how it was made i.e. how you joined the wood to make the top on the building and maybe more close ups on the finished project. you guys are really talented and i like to see more diy instructions. Thanks keep up the good work.
I love the smokehouse. not just a smoker, but a nice hangout. Do you have the plans/dimensions for this project? I would love to try something like this in my neck of the woods.
I have seen flashing roll placed in the stack (inside of smoker) to lengthen it allowing more smoke to fill the smoker before exiting. It's all preference.
Cottage Life DIY Your videos are so fast 1/2 you dont even show what the finished product looks like. One 2 sec shot is not enough. These videos would be so much better with a little more footage.
I know a woman who built her own badass smokehouse by herself and she doesn't exclude anyone from eating her food or coming over. I'm just saying cause you keep calling it a man cave and that it's man food lol. Which is fine if that's your personality. Great job on your smokehouse though!
You can find a man that wears panty hose and high heels, it's not suddenly "a man thing". I think that is great to see women out there breaking down borders on clichés but that doesn't make smoking meat for hours on end a feminine thing to do..unless....well you know ;) Not knocking what she did, but I'm just saying you don't see too many women out there basting the beast... Picturing a woman standing there sweating over a rotating hog is turning me on....I gotta go....
Dear Safety Suzy That big metal box contains all of the hot fire stuff, so by the time it comes out of the box it isn't hot any more. It all gone, burnt up into what is known as ash.
Awww. I'm kinda disappointed. One of my favorite pass times is to search through UA-cam comment sections for comment wars fought over stupid things. The minute I heard both the phrases "Man food" and "Man cave," I instantly went to the comments section to see if any feminists had gotten into a war over guys being guys. But alas, there is no stupidity to observe today :(
Why can't these videos be longer, you really don't see too much actual building going on. Nice channel though, just would be nice to be able to watch all the cut out scenes, and for those in a rush to see the final product can simply jump to that scene.

Ike you usually get a quick glance at it at the end but you barely get to see what it actually is.
Well, dipshit, if you actually WAIT till the end you'll see.

Hey Guys do you store your buildings anywhere or do you sell them?
They are like most buildings and sit on the ground stationary. There is vast space in north Canada.
How hot does the smoke box get?
what do you do with all the stuff u make ?
Use it
Your videos are great, but too short!! :( We'd love to see more details of the builds and the aftermaths, bloopers, etc. Please!!
+Cottage Life DIY Guys, i love your brojects. Cant you see if you can get your own tv-show?
Where are you guys and you are wearing winter clothes?!
A couple of 2x4's under the woodstove on their edges would make for easier lifting.

Holy cow.. this two maniac should be on National Geographic or something
Come on! I wanted to see you guys eat that.
They sound Albertan(Place in Canada). Where are they from?
So this is what it feels like for a women, when a guy finishes too early. These videos are too damn short!

+lacomadrejaz06 They didn't say if the meat tasted good or the texture or anything
Should you let the smoker run for like 72hrs before putting meat in there due to the spray paint, glue and raw wood that might jeopardize the meat?
They said in close this so they don't have to worry about being cold water in it in the winter and add on to it to make more of a get away
So the food inside gets cooked, but the wood doesnt take any damage?
Not cooked it gets smoked the meat needs to be already cooked (not raw or Some just a little
make these longer
Where about's in Canada are you guys? I'm in northern Ontario :) love the bush jackets :D
You guys should show yourselves eating the food as well man

That is awesome bro, I like that type of personality also. Glad she lets everyone enjoy it, must be a really cool person

Thats not a smokehouse. Thats a smoker.

I love this channel! Cool projects.
Canada where? I live in vancouver

I don't think green lands part of canada. Or is it?
I'm unclear how a cast iron wood-burning stove in a forest is considered safe.
Dear Safety Suzy

Bakerstone pizza
I bought instruction from woodprix and I build it very very cheap.
How do you do this shit
It's not difficult. Basic carpentry. It's still a good idea though.
Great video but too short. It is good for ideas but not to learn how to really do anything
This is like Minecraft
FURST
You spelled first wrong!
shut up it was meant that way
Manfood? You don't have to go there. Now if I want to share with my favorite females I have to go talking about your opinion, not cooking.
