That is a juvenile bull shark. That is the shark responsible for most shark bites. They are known to be found several miles up freshwater rivers all over the world.
I LOVE catching shark! We usually have a 3 foot metal wire lead for shark and gar. But I was also thinking.... GET OUT OF THE WATER!!! LOL! Nice catch!
Hard to tell what species. Sharpnose or Spinner? We catch sharks on lures very often in the surf near Matagorda, Texas. Blacktips, bonnetheads and spinnners. Fun fun fun (and Blacktips are delicious to eat!)
I’ve heard of them being caught locally on lures but have never heard or seen one on topwater. I’ve heard good things about eating shark. I need to freshen up my knowledge of sharks.
Great video JR. I couldn’t really tell but it kinda looked like a little bull shark could have been a black tip tho. Always a good time when something like that shows up while you wading. Can get a little more interesting when you have a stringer of fish tied to you lol.
Let’s go!!!!
Friday we went to Gulfport. Smallest trout was 17” and our biggest was 26 1/2”.
Nice! I’m finding them in good numbers over in my area. Just not much size to them.
Looks like a great time. Ladyfish are useless but fun to catch. Thanks for the post!!
Black Tip Sharks don't get very big, but they swim in schools, and can get aggressive to swimmers.
That was funny the way that Shark turned around and you were like “Nope!” Go the other way 😁
Man, I don’t play with sharks 🤣. I may or may not have edited out a few choice words haha.

Now you know what you’re in for tomorrow 🤣
I’m ready!

Right?! Making me second guess wade fishing now 🤣

Not often they hit a lure.
Boom!! That was interesting!!! Biggest redfish and black drum that I’ve ever caught were both on the ZMann Trout Stick!!
3-day young great white~
I would say sand or black tip couldn't really see but thought saw black tips on tail good catch
Sharks are good fried.

That'll wake you up!! Thought I'd see ya walk on water, I sure would have!!!
Yeah, I had to edit some of this video as I had a few choice words once I realized what it was! 🤣
I really thought that was a Jack! Jack Crevale os my Nemesis, I can't catch one! 😢 Nice Video bro!
Me too! I’ve caught one big Jack from shore when I first moved to Mississippi.
